Man, his Ryu was already godly, then they gave him this monster. Even though he lost CapCup that year, Daigo's games on that last year of SF4 were nothing short of amazing.
honestly i feel like he was the best sf4 player. if we would have played kaz in a first to 10 after that im sure he would have got him. he steam rolled everyone he played before kaz.
He for sure would have either won evo or capcom cup 2016 had sf4 survived. I wish sf4 survived until 2020. And for sfv they released it as champion edition. That would have been perfect.
capcom should start capturing the data of these pro players then applying it in an A.I. then add that as a new feature in their games "challenge the best" featuring daigo A.I., sako, tokido, fuudo, kazunoko, nemo, momochi, xian, nuki, and a lot more that is like going up against an A.I. in chess but in fighting games
its not a bad idea. The CPU player reacts before the start of fight. is easy to prove, only need use a particular attack or movement before the countdown of the start of fight and you will see the cpu reacts according to the combinations of button what pressed. that means, if capcom use the A.I of daigo for example, is similar to fight vs a TAZ program, is an impossible challenge, because CPU reacts acording to your buttons pressed, and not to animation movements. all i said is merely empiric speculation. sorry for my bad english
@@ricardorosas8500 bro, not because you have a hispanic name it means that you are bad at english, you just wrote a whole perfect paragraph, whereas i must've written something wrong by now, not too sure
Apparently, when making Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Masahiro Sakurai looked at pro players and used their data to make the AI we have now. It'd be awesome to see how that would look in a Street Fighter game, as you would finally be able to fight something akin to Daigo's unpredictability and have to deal with the crazy combos he can do without actually having to ask the man himself.
@@WolfXGamerful even then daigo seemed to be able to not let the satsui no hado take over his mentality and rather manipulated it to absolutely fuck up his opponents Daigo = Goutetsu?
Agent 48 AIAI can style with the best of them too, but Diago did this in at a championship level against Momochi. smug was never hitting 25 hit combos against this caliber
@@kevinp665 Smug may not have hit them in tournaments, but that is because they were mostly unnecessary, but if u see the best of smug video. You see smug playing like the most creativr player in history of games
WTF lol seeing this is incredible while understanding the difficulty that goes into the execution and also the impeccable hit confirming. It gives me chills every time lol
7:15... That there is a canon street fighter story scene. It is not a video game match. When ryu yielded to the dark hadou and ken tried to stop him...
This daigo was probably this biggest problem in street fighter history. He already has a dominating history in SF2 AND 3. Bro spawned in with a ray gun while eveyone got pistols
USF4 was the only SF game i owned for years. I was dirt poor with a video game budget of $0. Got me through some rough times and i still consider it my fave fighting game.
michael scoggins Check out the transition between 86, 85 and 84 seconds more closely The 85th second doesn’t last as long as others and changes quick. There’s like 0.4 to 0.7 seconds missing. If it were a natural occurrence, Daigo’s combo timing would have been thrown completely out
