I've recently started to get onto the Topo bandwagon and I must say I'm loving their bags 😄. I got the 30L Travel Pack first and just last week I got the Mini Mountain Bag. Love the pop of colours and the quality of materials and hardware used. And now I just ordered this pack in Olive and can't wait to receive it! Thanks for your awesome review as always :)

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the videoo was helpful and I definitely agree on the awesome colors and style of the topo bags! Hope you enjoy using them a lot!:)

Thank you for actually using the loops to hook onto the travel bag. No one ever seems to catch this and utilize it. I think it's a great piece of functionality and honestly the reason why i am considering another Topo daily carry bag instead of another brand (because i have the 40L travel bag).

Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I'm glad I was able to showcase that as well, its something I haven't seen in too many other bags and im definitely curious to get more topo bags now to see all the different ways you might be able to combine them haha Thats great to hear you have the travel bag! How have you been liking it? I have been using the 30L for a little while now and I love it! =)

@@dannypacks I really like the travel bag a lot. It's currently my every day bag (although a hair too large). I like the stacked design of the compartments which has lead me to consider getting the "Stack Pack" as my daily bag, but after your review of the core pack...I really like that bag too.
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
@@soccerslus that's great to hear you're enjoying the travel bag! I have really liked it so far as well! and I agree It's definitely a tough choice between the Stack Pack and core pack! I have always been curious about the stack pack and it looks pretty awesome and right now it looks like its on final sale so the price is pretty nice! haha

Great review. How do you think this bag sizes up against the recycled fire fighter 24 hour pack? I've been going back and forth between the two.
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I'm glad the review was helpful! Thats definitely a tough choice as both bags are pretty great haha For EDC I am a huge fan of the recycled firefighter bag, but it is pretty minimal as far as style and organizational options. If you need more organizational options or you think you might want to use this for quick trips, the amount of space the core pack offers without being too big is amazing and might be the better option in that case. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags =)

is there a bag you recommend that has similar capabilities BUT would be better in the heat? I worry about there not being padding/airflow on the back
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching and good question! The options I think are most similar in style would be something like the Evergoods CPL24 or the recycled Firefighter 24hr Backpack. Those have a little more padding and a similar look but their airflow is still not great. If you want something with a similar capacity and better airflow but with a slightly different style the Tortuga Setout Laptop Backpack and the new opposethis invisible carry on might be good options to check out as well. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bags:)

Curious, do you find a clamshell or horseshoe bag best for EDC (I do carry a laptop and gym stuff)?
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 4 года назад
Thank you for watching and good question! That’s a tough choice, both can work really well especially if it’s a horseshoe style with a wider opening. For me I still lean a bit towards clamshell since I always feel like that gives me just a bit more space and flexibility but I think that’s more personal preference. I can definitely see some real benefits as far as just being able to stuff a bag and not having to worry about everything accidentally spilling out while opening as you might see on a clamshell bag. Since you mentioned gym clothes I would lean towards a clamshell style since clothes can be bulkier especially if you carry additional shoes with you. Hope that helps a bit and if there are any additional questions I can help answer please let me know!:)

Thank you for watching and I'm glad the video was helpful! I'm excited to be one of the first to be able to share it as its been a great bag to use! and for the logo, I honestly didn't even realize it until I started to film so I didn't have a chance to let the company know, but I'm very confident they would have been happy to replace it if I had let them know in time lol =)

Does this bag fit under the seat in a United flight?
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 3 года назад
Thank you for watching! I think that will depend on how full the bag is, it’s not too rigid so it can squeeze down but it is a pretty deep bag so if it’s fully packed I would think it might have trouble sliding under the seat. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer!:)

Would you recommend this or the dailypack from the same company?
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 4 года назад
Thank you for watching and good question! Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to test the daily pack out so my opinion is based on the pictures from their site and other videos I have seen haha I think which is better depends on if you want something slimmer that’s more purely for daily carry or something a little more versatile that’s larger and that you can use for weekend trips in that case the core pack may be a little better. Hope that helps a bit and please let me one if there are any additional questions I can help answer about the bag:)

Wow this bag seam amazing. Can be used for anything. Travel, camping or day bag. I'm amazed how much room the main area has. I was doubting the possibility at first glance. I like this style of water bottle pockets. It goes flat if not in use. Yeah I have mixed feelings with the laptop pocket. I almost want a velcro strap to keep it secure since there is no extra padding. But if you use your own laptop sleeve, may not want the velcro straps depending on the kind of sleeve. But all in all I give the bag 8 out of 10.
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching! and I totally agree, I was really shocked just how much I was able to fit in the main area! haha thats a good idea on the velcro strap I think that would have been nice to prevent the laptop from sliding around and it would have been great to see the extra padding for sure in that compartment for sure. But like you said it works so well for multiple purposes and I would likely take this bag for camping or hiking so i probably wouldn't have my laptop with me in that case =) lol

can you please recommend a backpack for acer predator 15, thank you
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching! I haven't had a chance to use that laptop in person, but based on the dimensions I think this bag would definitely be able to hold it ok. The only thing is the laptop compartment is not too padded so I would recommend pairing it with an additional sleeve for extra protection. Another option that would be good to check out would be the lenovo passage backpack. That has a large and well protected laptop compartment, its not too expensive and it has alot of nice organizational options. Hope that helps a bit and please let me know if there are any additional questions I can help answer =)

Lol a book on agile. Everyone claims they do agile 😂 Great review. I was wondering your thoughts on this vs the greenroom136 rainmaker
@dannypacks
@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching and for the positive feedback! I’m glad the video was helpful and as someone who has been working with and coaching teams that are attempting to go agile for a few years now I can definitely understand the sentiment haha I haven’t had a chance to try the rainmaker out just yet but it looks pretty great! I like the aesthetics and organization a bit more but I’m not sure which could maybe hold more. I’m definitely going to try to get my hands on one so I can have a better idea of how the two compare against each other :)

why do u complain?u got it for free?your shoes are dirty should put a plastic bag over it? dirty your stuff..$129.99 no thanks... i rather get the north face/herschel back packs..

@dannypacks 5 лет назад
Thank you for watching and for the feedback! I definitely didn't mean my comments about the logo to sound like a complaint, I am very grateful I had the opportunity to test the bag out and I actually liked it a lot =) I only mentioned it in case people were wondering if their bag would have a logo like that if they ended up ordering one, but I still plan to use it regularly just the way it is haha thats a good point about the shoes, I typically have a shoe bag i will take with me on trips, but for the purposes of the video to make it easier to see the size of the items inside I just leave them out in the open. and I am definitely a fan of North Face and Herschel backpacks as well and hope to feature some on the channel in the future!
