Nice! I have a 2019 q4 stelvio and I just hit 50k miles. Just a week ago I had my check engine light come on and a message saying that DNA functionality was not available. I took it to the foreign car spot near where I live and they ran the codes and said it was a cylinder three misfire. After testing everything they determined there was no real issue but the spark plugs needed to be changed. I’m glad you pointed out that the recommendation is every 30,000 miles because most people would not know. Good video man keep it coming.
So, with all due respect, I love, l o v e, the idea of this video. I don't know that it was executed as well as it could have been however, you're just being real. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to see quadrophilia daily driven.
The trick to avoid high servcie cost is to "avoid" the dealerships. I found a local mechanic who is in the business for over 10 years and does most yearly routines like changing oil at a fraction of the cost.
So far this is the most informative video ive found...most are mods, performance videos and such, i just want to know if its worth buying. This is great thanks
This video was beyond useful thx the dealer was calling asking if I still wanted to move forward (1) audio not wireless is crazy (2) brakes over 1,200 is also wild
Seriously looking at a '22 Sprint with the upgraded wheels. Cheaper than the TI which doesn't offer the aluminum shifters. No sunroof, but like you I'm a chromedome so now I don't mind so much. Such a reasonable price on the resale market.
thx for the video, I am in the process to maybe get a new 2024 Giulia QV. What about the engine ? Can you say this type of engine can last for years (relialable) ( to ride more than 125000 miles at least). Thx.
Hi, I have an 2020 stevio q4 TI with 42k miles on it. I am disappointed of the ride quality on it. 20% of the time it rides smooth and suspension feels tight but the other 80% of the time it rides like an old 100k miles car. Any recommendations you may I have I can improved the ride quality? I already got set of michelin tires on it.
Hi, I just subscried to your channel. I want to buy a Stelvio Q this month and the one I saw has 54..000 km and I have heard rumors that this cars might have problems with their engines in time cuz they are ferrari engines and so performace comes with the cost of longevity. Out of your experience do you think that this car engine should be fine before 100.000km or I might have problems after 50k km? Also someone told me that at 60.000km i have to change the accessory belt and that is a big cost because the whole front part of the car needs to be removed. Any info please? Help me out bro :D
Hi sorry for the delay. Ya the belt service is quite a service job. From what my mechanic has told me this engine can have Carbon build up issues. It's a pain in the butt to work on and parts are expensive and hard to come by. If you don't have a trusted mechanic I probably wouldn't recommend the car to be honest. But it's a blast to drive. I know other owners that get frequent check engine lights for different reasons. Usually small things. It can definitely be a sensitive car...
Not that you should have to, but I wonder if a tint on the glass would help. If it's letting thru enough to burn you, it must be heating the car up a bit when parked as well I'd assume?
Do you think is more expensive to mantain a 2018 stelvio QV or a 2018 991 4S (roughly same mileage)? Let's notice that the porsche get a better fuel economy
I have one love this car I use it as a daily I can’t find a rear wiper blade replacement in store live in nj don’t wanna order just a quick repair ! Any suggestions ! autozone advance auto blah blah blah Walmart nothing ? Any help
Just purchase any wiper blade, if its just the rubber that's worn out, you can rebuild it with rubber from the new wiper blade, It can be done, easily just takes a bit of patience. Changed out my CX-3 rear wiper rubber from my old WRX front blade, just cut to fit.
We have a 2018 in the family and it's been okay but it's only been driven for like 28k miles so far. Battery issues are common if you don't daily drive it
I've found a stelvio QV the way I like but I'm scared cause it's over 50k miles...I wanna keep the vehicle for long time and shave around 150 lbs of weight with some mods (but I won't touch the engine), so I'm not sure if the vehicle suits me well
the 2017-2019 QV’s aren’t too loud inside until you put it into race mode, these cars don’t have much insulation compared to the 2020+ refreshed models, they’re noticeably more quieter.
