Hi! I love your videos, you are the reason I got into pigeons. I now have 12, and one baby! I'm so excited every time you upload man, keep up the great work😁😁
I love Ur birds and you don't 4get put red paint on the inwings and that will keep the hawks away my mate done it and it keeping them hawks away send me amassage back to say you got my message from Steve Merseyside UK take care bro 👍
Watching these birds everyday makes u fall in love i no u loss some on tosses begin watching for a long time i remember when u lived at the other place u had a white 1 den u moved and the loft got bigger to and the falcons messing with them 1 day the falcon will get old and can catch them
Maney I have a bird bath close to my tree line..was my wife's idea a few years back to attract wild birds..after a while I started seeing crows using it with other birds and it became a routine of leaving feed for them.. needless to say they started to nest in the trees out of convenience..any birds of prey that venture to close to the area will get chased off.. maybe it might work for you as well..I still loose birds but not around the loft..
@@ManeyPigeons At times when they are a little piss they will chase my birds as well but I don't mind cause they will keep my birds flying for up to 2hrs..
its a grizzle so we can cross it to any of the best blues & still get more tigers! best racer this season she could go with, best way i think to keep moving on the grizzle project
You breed a baby it goes to another loft you pay an entry fee and all the pigeons race to the one loft, some have upto 10,000 pigeons racing to the one loft 100's of people entry and you get prize money sometimes the share is $1-$2million
thanks, it is important to consider some birds handle it some dont, thats why tough birds are the best! i have some nice ones coming later on to test, some old old aussie stuff its hard to loose them so i am told
Many my guy. A Year or 2 ago I mentioned my research that long distance birds are the way to go. Also I’ve mentioned 50% barley mix corn and safflower for races up to and including 250 miles. Peas and beans are good For breeding not racing. When you get to 300 miles or longer add more corn and safflower no peas or beans.
i still have them in the race team but ive found on the harder races they drop off pretty fast, easy races they are here no problems in front of the other birds, i have plenty in the race loft that if they do well they can stay
Glad to see them up and doing well!! I Was feeling good yesterday…had 3 win my club fly 1st 2nd 3rd…Falcon hit my young birds today on a practice toss, 6 of 15 are a no show…one of those was for sure dead, saw a falcon leaving with it. 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@@ManeyPigeons I was extra impressed with them. 275 miles in 4.5 hours. My birds had to pull off of a much bigger team that is headed to the west. They have to leave the group of 150+ and turn south at some point into the wind. I entered 5 birds, 3 old and 2 young. The old birds took 1,2,3…one of the young ones took 99th and the other is MIA 600 mile race next month
Hi you doing Kurt that's great to hear, any sign of the young blue that went missing🤦 u no the 1i was asking u about,,🇮🇪DUBLIN🇮🇪, it looks like your after seen the hen hawk hopefully not,,
I m8 I love watching Ur birds + u I would like to have pigeon s again but I've got very bad health but what I wanted to tell you about the falcons I no someone who had the same problems and they put paint on the inside wing red colour and that doing the trick and stop them.going 4 the birds please send me a message back to say you got this message take care bro from Merseyside Steve from uk
thanks stephen, i think it might work for hawks but not for falcons, here we have rosellas, pink & grey galah, lorikeets they are all sorts colours and falcons love eating them here :(
Seems like someone else made this video, its so different than usual...😉Liked Shock, to bad he was not fast/smart enough. The 'ugly hen' is one to watch out for. 🤞🏻 Good video, thanks again for letting us enjoy pigeons, on the other side of the planet 💪
Don’t know if I sent you this schedule for racing season - Sunday - Thursday … feed 11% Depurative feed Friday … packing day feed 8:00 am and 1:00 pm Sunday … rich seeds 17.5% Hope this makes sense to you … try it this formula comes from a successful flyer more many years of experience and won big prizes … GOOD LUCK 🍀
