These Setups Are for sure not the best optimized, but so far i really enjoy using these with Deadlock! will try to make an updated guide in a couple of weeks once i minmax everything! but use these for now they should work gooooood!
@@RustyKlowbi Many tower defense games have an offense mode where you send minions to destroy someone else’s defense. It’s like that, but instead of sending minions, you’re send off and baiting your teammates.
I love seeing different Deadlock setups cause I don’t want to be too predictable for the enemies and want to instill fear. This video was very helpful and can’t wait to use some of these, especially the ones on Bind
I feel like the general consensus on Deadlock is that she’s just a bad agent, mainly because her util is vastly different from everything we’ve seen so far. But I think that her kit is what chamber was trying to be, which is a true aggressive, attacker sided, sentinel. More akin to a sage than a killjoy or cypher, where she isn’t made to just watch flank or hold a site, but set up her team for kills, and block off the enemies into really potent positions. I still don’t thinks she’s S tier or anything, but I think she has a lot of potential. Also great vid dude :)❤
A lot of this placement is too visible given that you place it somewhere people are aiming at.. At higher elo people will shoot it before it can stun (it have like 1 sec delay to trigger) Ideally you should put the sensor somewhere they cannot see but still cover it because this trip are triggered by sounds not visuals. E.g in Ascent A attach it to the switch table facing lane. It'll stun people running lane. Or Haven garage where you can just put it on the right side of door so that you can just bait a shot and let them get stunned the re peek. However if it's not possible at least put it somewhere out of enemy field of vision. Like if you know enemy gonna clear right then put it on the left so that they need to do 180 to break it
most of your sonic sensors problems is you're actually exposed to longer range cover fire, while the person in front is probably stunned their teammates in the back won't. (e.g.: haven A long) anyway, some of them are good
If you are in gunfight with the whole enemy team as a sentinel - you are doing smth wrong, because you must setup(!) kills or hold the fast push, otherwise you will insta die
And deadlock is the heaviest antipush agent, all 4 abilities is about to stop enemies, and ofc this agent is an agressive sentinel, you just cant play like cypher or some smokers, i main this agent until 1st, and on the 1st week she looks super powerful against matchmaing meta where is always plays 2 due which want to fast enter in bombsite on attack/retake
Thanks for the setups, really helpful, but as a kj main deadlock feels a lot weaker in terms on securing kills from her util, hopefully riot can balance her out in the next patch like being able to recall her sonic sensor mid round or her wall blocking off enemies LOS while allies can still see through it
My biggest complaint so far is the sonic sensor throw distance. My conclusion so far Deadlock is an aggresive sage (reminder : Sage is also sentinels) While sage excels at stalling deadlock excels at funneling and distracting and you want to funnel them to your trap as much as you can. She's also really good at denying pincher attack, I won several 1v2-3 thanks to her wall. As for the sensor just put it somewhere enemy will make noise no matter what. This means jumping falling, orb and planting. Otherwise you should treat it as on demand breach stun.. watch over it, bait a shot then re peek.. stuff like that
@@turboterror3956 joke on you I has always prefer Cypher over KJ.. I'm also on the process of learning deadlock. As I said deadlock is great at making easy kill. The problem is on attack where you need to manually hold your flank. However so does Sage and she's fine as she is. However she's definitely a shit agent on some map. I will definitely not pick her on split, Pearl, and Breeze. She'll be great on lotus if you can throw her sonic sensor from afar like Cypher. However she's phenomenal on Ascent, Bind and holding down Haven A-B site
whenever i'm on attacker side i like to place the spike down in a corner and wall it off and then put my censors in places where they would most likely enter from and wait in a corner for them
one tip to make personal setups: when you put a Sensor in a corner of a box you have to move to any side and put the sensor, that makes the sensor be in ↘
in 2:16 this mostly won't work because it depends on ranks, silver and gold will just push they wont wait while diamonds immortals radiant might wait a bit. That's why he walled off b stairs, good tutorial :)

Debatable. If you have guys on short, they’ll still have space to entry in smoke if they want to. If they don’t want to, they always can just spam through. If you are talking about fast rotation from mid, they almost always go heaven. If we are talking about rotation from b, the wall will just end. So this wall is a wild card to ensure that you will secure the site.
Idk if this workbut if you thfiw granade on them and you see that is 3 of them on netg, can place a sound sencer beside them and then it stund when they try to remove it?
when play agent like deadlock, are u use same setup for all round, or u move the setup for a couple round...??? Cause i think if u use same setup for full match they will a carefull for that...
I have at least 3 different set ups in sites. If my set up was revealed twice, I change it. I do it twice so players would expect I'm doing it everytime. Sometimes I adapt to their playstyle. If a Jett always dash to a certain location, that's where I'll put a sensor... the thing about this is, even if you stop putting sensor in that location, their Jett would stop dashing there. Also, if they like to rush 5 man, I don't peak when the sensor activated. I instead use my ult and bounce it in a safe location- once they try to break the cocoon, that's when I'll get a free kill or two.
As a fellow cc just wanted to give you an advice. Avoid using the word here. I was pretty repetitive and reduce quality of video. Good video anyways. This setups are really good
