Why? so the opponent knows if ure struggling on a low timer? And maybe instead of scooping when in a loosing position keep wasting their time so they can win on timer?

I just skip straight through Tear matches at this point. On the other hand, I’ve been convinced to play Evil Eye finally. I always liked the aesthetic, but it never seemed quite good enough to me. Until now that is…..
@@starboyjedi13 I agree I genuinely think tear in concept isn’t that strong as it only has 3 extra SS per turn the issue is that exchange of the spirit exists and now u can unironically mill 20+ on ur 1st turn if we ban all millers and even the shufflers too tear goes down to the bottom of tier 1 and spright would probably be the new best deck even w kitkalos legal tear now becomes as inconsistent as branded tear
That’s why you always toggle on. Also ash is just to good even if max c was ban being able to negate anything that draws or special summons from the deck
Reading the twitch chat made me ill. People want Kash to be in the game JUST to kill tear? Do they know it kills every deck that has a GY? I can't wait for them to repeat the arguments for when macro cosmos turbo becomes the only deck to play
I’m not enthused to have Kash in either. I’ve already heard so much about it just like I did Tear and it just sounds like “Doomsday pt.2” with them. That being said, I’m tired of Tear more at this point so idk. Maybe it’s time for Kash. I’m sure I’ll regret those words too though.
Great tournaments, shame I find myself just full on skipping the tear mirrors. I don't mind watching branded, but tear is a lot more linear and sackier wish Konami finally hit it like in physical formats.

The coin flip still is a big influencer in whoever wins the match. Whoever goes first in the first game will probably win, lose the second game and then go first again on the third. Can't we try bo5 on the quarterfinals and bo7 on the finals? Even games that have significantly less luck involved like StarCraft work like this.
Branded just has too many utility cards, like 5 cards plus that all perform fusion summon. No wonder tear and branded are at the top, every card in the main performs fusion summon, even in the graveyard, sigh that's the real problem with YGO.
Yeah outright banning some of their millers is a good way to lower their power ceiling, in OCG they are all at 1 and the players still find a way to replace them with mill cards and stuff so they can still do the same shit. But if you leave some at 2 or 3 and ban some others it's more balanced I think
I know he won, but it is wild that V.E.C didn't discard branded in white to keep foolish. Some of these misplays make me worried about the grand finale :(
