even when Snap has pretty frustrating meta games like this one, I always love watching Jeff’s content on the game and all his videos and streams. Keep up the great content Jeff and thanks for all you do!
Thanks for this, and for all other videos in this series. It's definitely one of the best weekly deck roundups, if not the best. I think the breakdown between decks you like, high potential, high performing and most popular is especially useful. I also like the way that you move through the lists with good speed, give the key facts and always have deck lists.
Thanks for your videos man, youre one of the few creators with Consistency and honesty when it comes to talking about new cards and decks. Cheers and blessings! 👍🏼
Just wanted to say as a person who is not a brewer (I mostly play limited in mtg) I always appreciate you doing these to give me a baseline on what to do.
I took a slightly diffrent Clog list to back to back infinite conquests at the end of last season. Red Guardian and Hawkeye over Shang and Doc Oc. Lacks the ability to straight smoke something large, but additional clog options off Kate and the ability to Red Guardian DP in the destroy matchup felt quite valuable.
I've been loving the Sera/Onslaught Surfer hand Dump deck that TLSG featured recently. I little fragile but super fun. When someone thinks you are playing Tribunal and snaps because they have a final turn Enchantress, the 8 cubes feel so gooooood
@HooglandiaSnap I did end up taking the deck for 83 to infinite in about 3 hours of total gameplay. There were some devastating losses but soooo many 8 cube wins (and not just against bots!). I'm going to keep pressing my luck with it and see what happens.
That Darkhawk deck, seems to be the only thing I run into. To the point I'm considering trying to actively counter it because yes, it's very effective.
I've found success with Agent Venom inside Patriot as well. Most of the cards benefit from the power buff. I've won a number of games without missing the four points is shaves off Ultron when he's in the deck.
I'm still finding success with Alioth Move. It's feeling a little stronger than my other staples, Bounce and Odd Hawk, I believe due to the better match ups into Hela and Bounce respectively.
I picked up the sera deck and basically went 95-100 with no losses. Polarizing tech cards and nobody counts gwenpool, + killmonger under invisible woman is op.
To the question of what we’re using to climb, TLSG highlighted a super fun deck this morning and so far when I hit the magic/wave sera onslaught I’ve been dumpstering Hela and other decks. Super clear snap and retreat lines, your opponent has no idea what’s coming because sera onslaught looks like tribunal and then suddenly the board is full, there’s a saiyan sized hit monkey and silver surfer is going off boosting further. I out-powered a Hela who discarded infinaut, black cat, magneto, and red hulk with 2 procs, had Luke cage on board, and my gladiator had pulled their death.
For high potential 6, how do you feel about swapping Nocturne out for Ravonna? If you don’t draw Agent Venom, making the 0-power cards easier to draw might be worth it?
Could agent venom work with wiccan bounce decks? The power that the 1 drop would get could cover the -3 wiccan get? Most of the bounce lists I see are using black swan, but I'll pick wiccan instead
i've been running shadow king it feels pretty good. i think black swan def gives more points but having sk feels very good rn bc of all the other agent venom, it's especially good into the av bounce mirror
