The allett takes up real thatch . ( below the Surface ) Where is the Spring tines power rake takes surface Debris out . Allett would stimulate more rhizome development . If you did it a couple of times for the season then took a soil sample that would be interesting. Good video

That rake works really well if you're dedicated, but man it kills me to use it. I definitely should buy an electric one

I just got my Liberty 43 and the Scarifier cartridge. This is the one Austin Jerret from Allett recommends for removal of dead grass. I have to wait till spring to test it out but did you play with the dial depth gauge on the unit to get the results you wanted.

@@YuriTereshyn Yes, Austin mentioned that to do exactly that until you are happy with the amount of thatch removed. How are you finding the quality of the machine. My first impression is solid build.

Totally different unit dude Allett vs Yardworks. Get yourself the Scarifier cartridge for your Allett. It will be the Yardworks x10. Much much better.
