I think you said that the ‘Best Wheel’ was the Logitech G Pro wheel because of the True Force feature. However, I believe that Fanatec has some wheels (like the Formula V2.5 & V2.5X) that include vibration motors to make up to a similar feature.
had the g29 had it modded with the shifters and the brake was modded aswell got the gt dd pro and havent looked back in my mind was night and day difference have not tried logitechs gpro but the dd pro 8nm is strong enough for most people in my opinion i know was just enough for myself lv it got the mcclaren gt3 wheel and csw2.5
I haven't tried a Fanatec system but the G pro wheel/pedals are great. I was looking at Fanatec but after converting the costs to my currency, taxes/import fee's and delivery charges it was too expensive for me. I bought the G Pro wheel / pedal combo that was offered. Coming from a G29 it's a massive upgrade. No regrets. My son has the G29 now. It's six years old and still works fine. Hope the quality continues.
Either way you can’t really go wrong really they are all quite good I personally prefer the Fanatec wheels as it’s the eco system that I’ve been in for quite a while but the logi does look like a good solid unit enjoy
I also went with the Logitech. It's my first dd wheel and couldn't be happier. The true force is terrible though. I'm really shocked that so many reviewers keep saying that it's a game changer. It feels weird and unnatural. It really just gets in the way of the rest of the ffb outputs. Please stop calling it a game changer. The only thing that changes is that I turn it off. As for price , none of the reviewers tell anyone that if you buy the wheel and pedals together, you get a discount on the pedals. They're discounted by 90 something US dollars. I'm happy with my purchase. I've been using Logitech since the 2000s so I'm sure I'm biased, but I wanted something that I knew would just work. My G25 and G29 put in a lot of work without any issues and would still be chopping away if they weren't in the closet now. I'm hoping I get the same from the pro.
You're not supposed to use them at full power, you can see the wheel shaking the frame and this is not at all comfortable or nice to drive with, it will be clipping the force feedback in the corners
@@BoosiveFPV bro what r u talking abt, ffb has nothing to do with the rig bro. He’s talking about the reviewer turning the ffb too high making it clip/oscillate like crazy. If the ffb is turned to an appropriate level, the rig, especially an 8020 aluminium profile rig, shouldn’t shake at all.
@@colinwu7344 your comment barely makes any sense. A 10nm wheel shouldn't cause a 8020 rig to move like that. Which is why the issue looks amplified because of the play in the rig. This rig is advertised to take wheelbases like the simucube pro etc.
Clipping is not related to the total force of the base. It is related to the ammount of FFB the game sends to the base. Wheel bases must be set at maximum ffb level to obtain best response. You have to set ingame ffb to not reach clipping.
I really wanted to grab a GT kit from Fanatec but I struggled to catch any stock for like a year. I only recently discovered Logitech had a new DD wheel out and through it was about 400 bucks more expensive, I picked one up to FINALLY replace my old G29. They are readily available direct from Logitech, which is incredibly refreshing. I figured the Logitech would just be cost premium over Fanatec because of the branding but it's legit as far as build quality. The pedal base and setup + the default wheel are so much better than I expected and IMO look better than the Fanatec. The GT wheel from Fanatec looks like some fisher price toy, and the Logitech wheel shifters are scores better. A shame I still have to use the awful G29 manual shifter though, that thing is hot garbage. Mostly though I like that I can adjust FF settings without having to go into the game settings or ghub. Truforce is better, but I only ever leave it set to about 5 / 100.
I’ve been using the Logitech pro wheel and pedals. This wheel is incredible. I love the true force. The pedals feel great as well. I was able to get an additional discount on the wheel and pedals using a Logitech promo code. Loving it so far. Being able to change wheel settings on the fly via the wheel base is incredible as well.
I got the Logidays £50 extra discount paid total for wheel and pedals £1212.48p it's big solid and works just fine on my sturdy desk 2 lumps of blue tac keeps the pedals firm and cushioned to my skirtng board so I am loving my G Pro so far.
Having owned the Csl Dd 8nm, with v3 pedals for over a year. It is a solid setup. I now have the logitech Dd too. My preference is Def the logitech in terms of ffb. The wheel on the logitech itself is okay but not my favourite so hoping more options come. Having said that the fanatec gt7 wheel is terrible, so had to buy a new wheel which is a lot better for sure and many fanatec wheels are nicer than logitechs wheel itself. V3 pedals may have the slight edge over logitech pedals but not by much as do like the logitech pedals too. So in summary I think the logitech is better out the box by a fair margin and has more potential for new wheel etc. But fanatec have more options atm and is more compact. Both are great!
I have both wheels: the Fanatec with 8nm and the Logitech pro wheel. The Logitech is a little better in terms of direct drive. With 11nm not only stronger, but also much more differentiated and works out the track details much better. The Logitech is better as a total package, which is of course reflected in the price. That's why I only wanted to go into the comparison to the direct drive now. I find the Tru-Force a bit annoying. At least I have not yet found a suitable wheel settings for a good driving experience. Maybe someone has a tip, or can post times his Wheelsettings for GT7!
I started out with trueforce on, and now I can never turn it off (I tried, it feels very bland). It gives soooo much information. I know exactly where the limit is for the tyres thanks to true force. I guess it's one of those new technologies where everyone hates the new weird feeling at first, but eventually, it becomes the norm once you get used to it. So I get what you're saying but I would also suggest that you try to get used to it. Now, sometimes, when leading I will intentionally kick out the car's back in hairpins because the G Pro gives me so much confidence.
ive got the fanatec gt DD pro but i upgraded the pedals - this system for people on a budget is fantastic !! add the fact you can add a handbrake or a sequential shifter to the wheel base and run it through one usb port to your pc is a massive bonus -
I'm leaning towards getting the Logitech because of the poor customer service history many report with Fanatec. I'm sure either will impress compared to my t150.
true force on logitechlook very important to obtain perfect little details .... this is part of the wheel and an amazing game changer that logitech bring on the table. they don't just jump in DD world ! they jump in with inovation that can make it to an other world !! i love it !
I have a T-GT II, if i were to buy would be the G PRO by TRue Force. I've already tried a DD PRO but I miss the T-FDB, whether it's fake, lose detail or whatever, the immersion in Gran Turismo is another level. Maybe buy it when the price of the G PRO with pedals goes down.
I went from the logitech G25 to the T-GT2 and was devastated by the notchyness of it- it's terrible. Never been happy with it so I ordered the Gpro today. Never did or will get to try the T-FDB though. Pretty stupid that it was only for GT.
I found a very useful household item to protect the pins and connectors on the G PRO base it's your average spray can lid ie body spray can furniture polish can it was not hard to find a perfect fit you may have a choice of different colour lids lying around will keep your pins ect safe.
Looks like the Logitech G wins this head to head comparison because of the high quality true force feature. It's a fascinating performance comparison and in the beginning, i thought the seasoned Fanatec would win out. like 345
@@SSmallwood It's only a gimmick to people who won't benefit from it. If you're using the wheel for casual racing games then yea, true force won't do you much good. If you're using the wheel to do some actual sim racing and want to improve your lap times, having physical feedback of when your tires are slipping in the corners or on the brakes is a massive advantage.
@@thecow8824 lol if you cant feel when your tires are scrubbing from the wheel itself then the gimmick of truforce isnt going to help you any. ffs im on a csl elite thats coming up on a decade old and feel front end scrub no problem. trueforce is a gimmick.
I’m currently using a Fanatic DDpro with Shifter & Handbrake. Only playing on console for me the biggest plus is both PS & Xbox/PC compatibility. I have a NLR HF8 pad for haptic feedback all for less than the Logitech set up. They definitely need to lower their prices to be more competitive 🤔
@JWalker379 yes, I'm using gt dd pro ps5 gt7 with nlr hf8 thru simhub for real-time live haptic feedback. It's awesome with vr2. The immersion hf8 gives is incredible with all the options.
@@PageCrowes I need to look at running the HF8 through sim hub. I’m currently using sound only through a DAC. I use Sim Tools for my traction loss motion system in GT7. So I’m already running telemetry on PC 🤔
I love the stiffness on the fanatic lc, it’s an instant pressure response. If there were any more travel I’d probably be more inclined to lock up more.
Ordered the g pro over moza r12, Logitech is a complete package and it feels awesome. I do feel the 11 nm of torque is nice to have and sometimes I have to dial it down on certain cars so imo, the Logitech true force feedback coupled with their high quality pedals and wheel make it a perfect match for me. I don’t care so much for a variety of wheels but perhaps you do. I think the g pro wheel is awesome with the quick release and the magnetic shifters 😊
I have both. The DD pro's wheel is cheap and you notice that after hours of racing. The steering wheel lining crumbles and I am already working on my second wheel but it is just as bad. And the aftermarked sale is not their best side either. The Logitech base is big but it doesn't bother me. The pedals are good, the steering wheel is good and the treuforce also works well with the FFB. And the compability with non-racing games is also fine. Just try to get the DDpro decent with Snowrunner, it won't work because the screen keeps spinning. I am now happily playing with the Logitech and am going to sell the DD pro. Hopefully Logitech will come out with a formula wheel soon. I think most people are negative about Logitech because it's Logitech. Most are hyped by Fanatec but forget that Fanatec is also just a relatively entry-level brand.
I am in a predicament where I feel like my logical step would be to go Fanatec as I already am using a mash up of Fanatec V3 Pedals, Fanatec Shifter, but a rather old school Thrustmaster T500RS wheelbase with all of it's belt driven notchiness. So I should probably get a fanatec DD wheelbase and wheel. That way I could just plug all my gear into the wheelbase and only have to worry about the single connection to my PC for my regualr sim mracing titles (AC, ACC and Automobilista 2)however I do plan on getting a Ps5 for gran turismo 7 also which is the next part of my predicament. I hate dealing with Fanatec when things go wrong, and it takes ever so long to get the products I want from them in my country. And they really do love to hammer the absolute crap out of us with shipping costs. I really love my H-shifter and the V3 Fanatec pedals are just much better pedals in general than the ones Logitech provide according to most reviewers I have checked out. So switching to Logitech I would lose the shifter and have to solely use paddle shifters on GT7 which takes a lot away from the experience if you are driving cars that have H-Shifter in real life (which I just have always found much more fun to drive with) So I dunno, If Logitech brought out a really nice H-Shifter then I would probably be like f*ck it, sell all my gear and just go all out Logitech because that Trueforce really does sound like a game changer according to all the reviews I have seen. but right now, it does seem that for me and my current situation, Fanatec would make the most sense and it kinda pains me.
Thanks for sharing your experience with Fanatec I'd say hang on until the end of the year. I recon Logitech will introduce some new stuff by then if they don't go for the Fanatec route. I really do wish Logitech introduced more accessories early on just would have made it easier for console gamers to choose.
@@GeekStreet So with AC2 being due for release in 2024 what sort of deals do you see coming up from Logitech, Fanatec etc. in terms of good prices with current offers as well as new wheels perhaps cuz I´m thinking on holding out on buying something new until then.
@@jeffreybankers3988 thanks for your comment man, yeah I have seen that Truforce is considered terrible in pretty much every game/Sim...other than gt7 where apparently it is implemented and supported very well in that title. But it's not a huge draw for me as I am primarily a PC Sim racer. I just love having the ability to use the wheel on console if need be. My best bet at this stage is the fanatec DD Pro, since I already have fanatec pedals, and shifter.
Yeah what a predicament, I’ll tell you what I would do but just my opinion ok. I would sale all my fanatic and go all out with logic tech. Why? Bc you want to play with or on something that your going to be the most happy and satisfied with. Plus your only goin yo spend that money once, after all is said and done and bought 😂 your going to feel like a champ playing on something you truly wanted. Go with your gut felling even if it’s goin to cost you more money F it you only live once right. I’m going all Logictech; yeah I think it’s to expensive but F it I’m just goin to save up for it little by little than Bam I will have it ohhh yeah.
I have the Fanatec DD Pro 8nm, V2.5 formula wheel with V3 pedals (mod to 2 pedals) on my reinforced Playseat Challenge. Love it. I play ACC, GT7 and F1 on Ps5
I have a question Bro, I have a CSl Elite hub and ClubSport Pedals V3 (CSP_V3) setup with the playstation wheel ..I assumed everything should work with the PS5 but what's crazy is everything lights up even seeing the speed on top of the steering wheel...not understanding how I can't steer the cars, like I can do it from the duelsense but I can't figure why it's not working out ..I even the peddles are not connecting any ideas on what you think I should do ? I would love to have the DD Pro but my setup is practically new. I just haven't been using it as much..
@@blastu2fool Hey, not sure what you mean with Elite hub? But, the DD Pro works perfect on the Ps5 and V3 pedals, no issue on this side. I dont know if you have different compatibility options on your base/wheel, as I do have on the DD Pro. I have to put it on "blue" light to use it on Ps5, otherwise "purple" for games like F1 2021, as the DD Pro does not support the DD Pro native, so purple light is compatibility mode on the DD Pro. If I can help in some way, let me know
@@blastu2fool 1 more thing, for me to have the DD Pro be reconise on the Ps5 everytime, I have to first press the "PS" button on the wheel. Just like your Dualsense controller. Do you do that?
@giogamer4825 I had sent you a response awhile ago saying I was trying to avoid buying the DD Pro because I have the CSL Elite but I think I may have to pull the trigger ...the thing really didn't use my set up as much so going to buy dd pro at 600 is not the ideal thing at the moment...as yo your question about Ps button for a start up i have to try it and see what happens
I am a Fanatec owner and own the GT DD pro, boost kit, load cell and shiter. Exact one in the video. I cannot recommend Fanatec. The shifter has a common mis shifter problem. The load cell pedal stop working after 9 months. Updated: Both shifter and load cell pedal went back to Fanatec for repair and working at the moment. Now the Wheel starting to have problem with PS5, which will disconnect very freqrently. Sometime every 2 seconds. I have done the fanatec 're-seating' as per their video but same problem would still occur. Having 1 deflective product is unlucky, 2 is a coincident, 3 is consistent. That is saying something about Fanatec product.
If you turned off trueforce are you really getting a fair comparison? Trueforce is part of the appeal of that wheel...its a big feature....its a huge advantage for the wheel in comparison
I’ve banked on the Logitech g pro wheel under the assumption that it’ll eventually get a shifter and perhaps an e-brake. Also bought the next level gaming GTElite rig with a chair
Anyone bought the Logitech and experienced a horrible ship time? I placed an order over a week ago and the items have not shipped yet. They also don’t know when my items will ship. Their customer service personnel are very polite, but so far all I get is “your order is approved and being processed, everything is in stock but being processed “.
I have the G Pro for PS5 and I think it's really good - HOWEVER, it's getting closer to Forza 8 release and we still haven't had a single word about a replacement wheel for it! I plan to play that on Xbox. I tried to talk to Logitech on several occasions but they show absolutely no interest in easing this issue. They won't even confirm it will be more wheels as of end of March 2023. This is insane if you ask me and I'm gonna jump to Fanatec if nothing happens this spring. I would assume they would release a McLaren F1 wheel due to their collaboration but not a single word there either. Frustrating Logitech, frustrating. This on top of super poor customer support, and straight up lies about their delivery date on page.
It is now October 2023 and I am undecided and I have been reaching out to Logitech about any plans for new wheels, shifter, etc. I am getting absolutely no where - total silence.
Had some bad recent experience with Fanatec customer service. Went with the Logi Pro wheel and i love it! The FF feeling is just so good and detailed. And i love they went with hard leather on the rim. Now i dont have to wear gloves to not wear it out like alcantera rims.
@@Bobbarker23455 i had a hardly used csl pedal set v1 (with potentiometers). The potentiometers have a habit of breaking down. I wanted to order a couple from them so i would be safe for a while (and save on shipping €10 and handling €10 costs). But instead Fanatec insisted i ordered just one every time. Screw that.
@@Bobbarker23455 lol why? I had a faulty potentiometer after hardly using the pedals. So it is only logical to order some spares for the inevitable (and save money like i said). You sound like a Fanatec fanboy to me.
Great video! But I have to say 2 things: 1) The Fanatec GT DD Pro (and the CSL DD) can not be mounted on the front! Just side mounting or the base. 2) The Trackracer TR120 cockpit looks great and you state as it has "zero flex", but at 7m41s with Fanatec and at 7m50s with Logitech, we can see the base and the aluminium profiles going sideways. Why is this aluminium profile cockpit having so much flex?
The cockpit was previously dismantled and re-assembled but I didnt fully tighen the the bars holding the wheel mount at the sides and only realised a few weeks later hence the movement
I prefer the logitech and I'll let you know why. Having previously owned a simucibe Pro 2 I always found 14nm was my preferred strength. I would turn down the ffb in games as it would be to strong at that nm. However the dynamic range was just better, like weight transfer etc. Also having owned in the past a csl dd, I liked it but found the 8nm to low comparing to the sc2 Pro. Maybe not a fair comparison. Now going on to the logitech that I currently have. I like my bumps to be more dampaned so always ran every base with high filters to make the bumps less abrupt but would also lose some effects as a downside. What I have found logitech does super well is have that filtered feeling by changing settings and then with true force, having the nice bumps too. So after some testing I actually prefer the logitech over the sc2, which Iam surprised about as I thought it would be more on par with a csl dd. Having said all that I think each wheel can suit each individual differently. So the best wheel is what suits you :)
@@FreakCanal I had a SC2 for about 2 years I certainly do know how to set it up for what felt best for me. It is a really great base, I just prefer the Logitech with the statements I mentioned above. You don't have to agree and imagine you have never tried the Logitech for a long period of time? Which is okay as it's all subjective but certainly not wrong from my perspective.
So... I am looking to upgrade my G29. Maybe Logitech base/wheel and keep the gear shift plus the Logitech G Racing adapter to keep my old pedals and shifter for now. way cheaper than change to a Fanatec system.
I feel maybe the logitech base should have been compared to the simagic alpha mini! I know this is for consoles but still would make a great comparison. Fanatec has gone downhill big time with their products
Since im not planning to spend a fortune, logitech g pro is the best option. If i went with fanatec, i might be tempted to get other wheels and upgrades. I feel like with fanatec you will pay a little less now but you will be paying more at the end. Also, true force sounds very interesting to me since i have a buttkicker and enjoys it alot, having a butt kicker device for the wheel is such a bonus. To save some money, i plan to skip the logitech pedal and use my current g27 pedal instead since it was upgraded with truebrake mod giving it a loadcell feel already.
I’m thinking to just get the wheel and use my old g29 pedal. So how is your experience using the wheel + d27 pedal? Is it annoying to set up with the adapter?
@@hoihoi13 i found a used csw 2.5 very happy i didnt spend so much but the upgrade feels amazing compare to g27. i didnt need an adaptor, i just keep the g27 usb plugged into the pc you dont even need the power supply and the wheel still works just no force feedback. the g27 pedal and shifter works flawlessly with csw 2.5.
I'm looking into adding at least two bass shakers to my rig that I use with the console but I don't know which amp to get. Do you have any recommendations?
My G27 (bought in 2015) is in death throes, so I'm looking at DDs. I advise people on camera purchases, and your review showed the pros and cons clearly! I am waiting on a real estate transaction, then I can jump into the DD ocean. I like the idea of the different wheels..Fanatec is looking good
How does the G pro compare to the Moza R16 or Simucube 2? I know different price points, but same ball park? I just got the g pro as a first serious wheelbase and love it, but wondering if I made the right choice. I use it at 11 and wouldn’t mind just a bit more, plus it’s so limited with wheels. Thanks
Would it be a risk to purchase from Fanatek at the moment? Was going to buy a GT DD pro for GT7 but wondering if I’m best going for logitech G Pro instead?
Do you have any time spent on the Logitech G Pro and Pedals on IRacing. I'm having all kinds of issues. FFB, RPM LIGHTS. BUTTON MAPPING. All the reviews seem to be done on Grand Turismo. Any help would be much appreciated. I have gotten no response back from Logitech Support for these questions
Can we emulate the TrueForce experience just by adjusting settings on the Fanatec? or what kind of changes does the true force does? more power? more level of detail? what really means to activate true force? (please do not answer just because it feels better... I don't know what means that)
Great review. Helped me to make up my mind to order a logitech cause I've been waiting weeks for the fantec I ordered to even ship and it was in stock when I placed the order. Of course no way to get in contact with fanatec, so whenever they decide to ship it I'm just going to ship it right back. Logitech will be here in two days. I'm looking forward to trying that thrust feedback. Thanks.
"best wheel" that rig had some play in it compared to the f-gt elite ? ive upgrade my dd pro wheel to magnetic shifters for about 20.00 dollars , i also have the metal fanatec pedal covers over the factory plastic ones , also added a 3rd party parts springs & bushes to the load cell & throttle pedal which i feel made my csl pedals as good as any on the market , i have the 8nm boost kit , normally set at half in the in game settings , i find if u have the settings set to high or pedals to stiff , u will fatigue to quickly & reduce ur overall race lengths & gaming sessions , good video though which i thought was very fair , both have pros cons , if i was a noob again i would go with fanatec
The the Logitech wheel I had the force feedback on max and the TrueForce and had some play I'm suspecting this could be because I have the rig on wheels. I'm working on a permanent fixed location for the rig where the wheels will be removed so it should interesting to see if that makes a difference.
Isn't the Logitec pro wheel and pedals price nearly twice the fanatec kit you tested? For the same price you can get a nicer wheel, pedals, and PS5/Xbox/PC compatibility.
Hey dude, like I H-H-HATE using damper on wheels as you tend to lose surface details of the road but your wheels are oscillating to such a CRAZY extent 😂😂😂 you gotta chill out! Try using a bit of damper to smoothen out the FFB, that can't be good for the shafts on the wheel.
If you buy both logitech pro wheels and pedals you get $100 discount and free shipping if you're in the lower 48 states. So for $200 more than the fanatec (figuring in shipping) you get adjustable pedals and true force not to mention a stronger servo. I was sold on the fanatec until I saw how everyone was raving about trueforce. Logitech pro will be coming to my house in the near future.
the quick release comparison is hilariously short. I have a CSL DD and the QR fanatec is using is awful. Any review of a Fanatec setup should include the price of upgrading to a metal QR. the plastic QR WILL break with a DD base. It's just a matter of time. You end up purchasing a metal QR either way. I'm not a hater I promise. I love my fanatec gear. It's just not perfect without spending a bit more.
I went from g29 to fanatec dd pro 5nm with McLaren wheel and hurt my shoulders so can imagine what 11nm would do. if ur looking to just have fun go with fanatec price wise and can play Xbox n PC so why not

I have the 8nm CSL DD, upgraded from the old CSL Elite, all with the load cell and pedals, and the fana shifter and handbrake, attached to a frame. I use it almost exclusively for Assetto and drifting, and for that it is a definite improvement over the previous belt driven CSL drive. My drifting improved immediately. It is wary too powerful for a table clamp, and tbh it's too powerful at 100% for a frame. It shakes the entire room when I run off-track.
@@EbNorth I don't use a table clamp, I use a driving frame, and it's too much at 100% ffb for the frame, which is why I know it's way too much for a clamp.
@@EbNorth ...PS the weight of the table would not be the issue I don't think. There's no table stable enough for it, aside from one of those country mansion tables that fifty people sit at. 8nm of torque might not sound like much but it really is.
@@thesprawl2361 this is a ridiculous statement. There’s hundreds of videos of streamers and people using it at full strength on tables and on Riggs with zero issue. You probably need some pads underneath your rig or some thing to keep it quiet there’s no reason for it to be so loud.
@@lukefisher8417 Are they using the same racing frame I use, on the same kind of wooden floor, at 100%? Do they have the full 8nm of torque unlocked? If you say yes to all of those things and maintain that no-one has any problems with the scale of the FFB then I am calling either you or them a liar or an idiot.
True Force in Logitech simply eat exaggerated Fanatec on breakfast easily... You should test this on the real racing SIM games like AC or ACC where Logitech with his brilliant true force surprisingly or not is a mile ahead and far way superior from the Fanatec. GT7 is a simple arcade game and can't give the same or more realistic feelings like ACC which use the potential of the true force that's Fanatec can only dream about.
Hey Geek Street! I think you may need a slight update on this. I just ordered the Pro wheel & pedals & Logitech gave a $88 discount on the set ordered together.
Pondering between these two. GT DD Pro has a better wheel rotation (Euro Truck Simulator 2) and is more compact for my temporary simrig solution (Playseat Challenge). G Pro has TrueForce and larger wheel size and is more easily available. Many of the racing games I play supports TrueForce, on both PC and PS5.
@@hoihoi13 Neither. Fanatec was out of stock and G Pro too expensive. I did choose Thrustmaster GT-II for 599€ (discount). Well actually 625€ after VAT change. @@ContentComposer I’m looking at this one too, in mh county it’s actually more expensive than the dd pro can you believe it. How r u liking it anyway? It’s belt drive good enough you think and does it get overheat like the t300?
@@hoihoi13 It does cost 849€ in my country also. Way expensive. I haven't really stress tested it and only used it with GT7. I'm using around 60-70 % torque and have not noticed it to lose power with these settings. I should try some other games too to know how much force experience depends on the wheel and how much it is about the game. If I would have had a working setup, I would have preferred to wait for the Fanatec. Anyway, I've had fun, won races, got near a world record lap time with GT-II and I'm far from a good driver. And I don't think a DD wheel would make me much faster, but it might feel more authentic, who knows.
why is the 1.5k€ wheel the only one out there with a nice real race car looking wheel out of box.. but if you want to use it on a pc and ps5 the gt dd pro is the most practical with the 4 sticks becaus you have 20 buttons alone there to remap
I want to order fanatec but do they ship orders? Ive read so many bad reviews about people waiting forever to get there order. Anyone have issues with this in the U.S.?
Don't go down that road! I made the mistake once. I came up learning to drive and never use the left foot for braking. I had a clutch as often as not anyway, so wasn't even an option. However, I've come to find that brake left foot, gas right foot is actually the preferred method in sim racing. I'll never be able to undo all that muscle memory, but it's what all the cool kids do now!
I wish there were complete sim-rigs available in the 500-600€ range. I have a G29 and I'm not looking for upgrades that will cost over 1000€ or even just under. I'm a casual racer who is easily 5 secs behind top players racing times in ACC, so I don't really want to have pro gear until I improve several seconds per lap on most tracks.
12:00 why on earth do you keep wiggling the steering like that? 🤔 when I use mine it never makes me do that? It’s like an over exaggerated wiggle. Come on, let’s be real and be truthful.
So i got a g29 first wheel ive bought dont like it wanna upgrade. I dont play on asphalt though play the new world of outlaws game and would do like rally racing all on ps4 so which would you feel more suitable? Thanks
I have both. Logitech is the better wheel. And they sure are proud of it. Btw learn the track and turn racing lines off. It’s hard to take anyone serious when they can’t be bothered to put an hour into learning the track and braking points.
I tried out my friend's sim for about a 2 hour session, and he has the fanatec dd, we turned the force feedback down a little from max, and let me tell you, the next day I couldn't lift my arms.
