Faith or fanaticism?
Fanaticism refers to extreme beliefs that may lead to unreasonable or violent behaviour. Loyalty turns into fanaticism when it becomes wild. When things tip into verbal abuse, violence or threats of violence, you know you've gone too far.Several faces of fanaticism prevail in our society. From being a blind follower of any religion to becoming a fanatic fan of sports team, film or TV actor, every form of fanaticism is driven by false conscience.
Masquerades-The Dramatics Society of IIT(BHU), presents you an eye-opening street-play of Kashiyatra'19, "अंधाधुंध" targeting the side of fanaticism which is often ignored in the name of faith and loyalty and how a bit of understanding and change in mindset can help us eradicate this problem.
