I strain flaxseed gel through a fine metal strainer while still hot. I get all that goodness without having to squeeze and muscle it through a stocking.
I’ve actually been using this tea mixture since you first made it. I’ve used it as the liquid for one of my DIY treatments, I’ve been putting on my scalp, and I’ve even made another mixture where I added in a few additional herbs as well. So I am super excited to be using it again this week.
Looks like a great gel! I like to use my pitcher strainer while it's still hot so I don't have to squeeze anything. Definitely makes the job easier and less messy. 😁
@@BellaHairCare4u yup! I pour it in the strainer as soon as it comes off the heat. Once it cools, it's too thick for the pitcher strainer and I'd have to use my nut milk bag. If it's too thick coming right off the heat, you may need to use more water.
I love flax seed gel but I hate all the work. The hold is everything. I make sea moss gel because it’s easier and actually lighter. I love that you try all the things I want to make ☺️ great job btw
Wow! Your hair looks beautiful….. can’t wait to try this week’s tea n flax gel….. as I said before, tye seamoss gel is a keeper for me. My hair really has been thriving with the challenge before and this one.
Hi there Good day... On your DIY Detangler & - tea recipe, U - used the "Flaxseed & - Marshmallow Gel" Mix together, can I - also use this Flaxseed & - Marshmallow Gel Mixture as a - Hair Mask???

Hi sister. My diy flaxseed gel defines them curls. But I always end up with these white flakes that look like dandruff on y curls. How do I prevent that from happening? This also happens with the oats gel
Ohh I’m sorry to hear that. I’m curious does your hair feel crunchy like a gel cast when it dries or your saying the application process feels like straw
The protein molecules in flax seeds and other foods are too large to penetrate the hair strand, you can not get protein overload from them. Foods can coat the hair and be washed away, it does not bind to the hair strand like a small hydrolyzed proteins which can cause protein overload
Hi, I'm doing the tea challenge. Im looking forward to this one my hair seems to need the moisture. I noticed you used chamomile instead of the candula that was on the calendar. Can you comment do they have the same properties. I only have the candula
