@@jose_xforward6297 not all, but it is very common. Most dogs have a little drainage at some point from their eyes but because a Maltese is white it shows up more. It is due to the acidity of the tears. They sell some products to reduce it but I have never seen any get rid of tear stains completely! You can always keep it clipped short in that area to reduce having to see it!

I work in grooming as well and the best I’ve seen were a shiba inu named Chopstix and a black chow chow named Vader. They both fit their names very well in look and attitude lol

bell158 I always go based on personality. For example: I owned a golden that I named Banyan. Because he was very wise. Another example is Balto my very protective German Shepard I used to own. They're personality is something that can really help you so don't forget to use that as a name resource.
My friend trains leader dogs for the blind and she always picks nature names, first was Orchid, second was Boulder, and now it's River!!!! LOVE it!!! SO cute!
my friend has a little brown Chihuahua and her name is Coco Bean but they call her Beanie for short. they also have a chocolate lab they named her Mocha...(guess they were going for a chocolatey kind of theme?)
One name I'm saving for a special dog, a golden Shepard to be exact, is Charlie/Charily or if they're particularly bark happy Noisy Boy! Now I saved Charlie/Charily because I love the way it sounds. It gives me that underdog (pun not intended) boxer feel. But if they're a girl....idk why but I love the sound of Mavis.

Thank you i just got a bengal i named her asia then i got a teacup maltese she's only 2 pounds and i dyed her pink so she's this tiny pink fluff ball i wanted their names to match but couldn't find a matching name to fit her because the cats name is asia that's where she originated from but the dog would be malta i didn't like it so i changed it to dream puff and everyone at the vet office loved it and her it fits her perfect. Now if i could just get my husband to stop calling her cream puff it would be great lol

I would look at all sorts of names that mean white! Like Blanca is Spanish (or Blanco for a boy) I'm sure there are lots of languages with interesting words for "white" or "snow" or something similar, I love it when people use a foreign word for a pup!

Two Kittens I ever named "King Louie" and "Yoda". King Louie lived up to his namesake very young. He was in a beheading accident when he was little. And Yoda was given away. Then we had a boy cat we thought was a girl cat so he had two names "Teacup" and "Mr.T" I Originally had a dog named "Patches" I named a Plant "Da Vinci" once. Some fish named after the "Harry Potter Trio." Harry, Ron, Hermoine. A Guinea Pig named David. My Brother went through 2 cats named Jane and Lily, Lily was Originally Flicka. I once rode a Horse named "Rex" And know a dog named "Rex" and than my brother's 3 dogs that stayed longer than his like first dog whose name I forget but his 3 Dogs that stayed. BEN, MAX, and DOUG I think my Aunt has some Animals too "Masey, Coco (Used to be my brothers), Rex is hers. CHISTMAS who I call "Chrisper" and that's pretty much it. she rescues animals like Cats so I meet a lot of cats. Than my boyfriend has a dog named "Taco" I think one of my friends had a cat called "Toothless" Another named her boy cat "Lovino" And I got my cat Luna. I know a lot of pet names to know there is a trend in naming but also that the random names are really RANDOM.
