That jump off platform for the pool is cool but where it's at looks a little dangerous. One bad jump and you can hit your body near one of the walls off to the side of the pool.

There's a lot of dangerous things in this world but the jump platform is just fun, if you hit your head then that's because you didn't jump far enough which you should know better to do

This was my favorite home when we did the Parade of homes this year! The theater froom was magnificent! Loved the outdoor shower! So many awesome features in this home! The jump platform wasn't there. Such an awesome addition! So jealous you got to jump in!

I am from Britain and I adore American houses like these. The design and architecture looks so cool compared to the brick stuff we have in the UK. I wish they built houses like these over the Atlantic.

@@TheSBhatty That really depends on who built it. There are a lot of crappy builders, but there are many builders who are into the science of home building constructing very well-built homes at various price points because it doesn't cost much more to do it right.

I love your house the theatre room & pool is my favorite. I’m only 19 Buh I love to see peoples homes. My favorite thing about building a custom house is you build it the way you want & how you want to style your backyard or inside of the house. This is the best looking home I’ve seen. In my backyard imma put a rockpool with no grotto but still have high rocks to jump with a staircase leading up to the waterslide!! Then I would put a indoor gazebo with a indoor kitchen with an indoor-outdoor living space with a waterproof Tv!!

The basketball court is amazing. I was in gymnastics over a decade ago & would have loved to have my own room to condition & enough space to practice backhand springs. The grass did a good job as well. 😅

7:55 I can see why they may have said no, Lots O' Rust. Maybe could be rubber coated. But I could foresee a toe getting stuck in the diamond pattern when just running up to jump off.

The way the glass on the front goes opaque has been around in the UK since like 2015-16 if I remember correctly and honestly it’s good for anyone

2:22 you can put the police glass you can see from inside but they can't see you from outside, i think it will be more cheaper to do it and it is more easy to do it now.

if you can get power to the glass door maybe the nest smart lock won't need to be battery powered. Also maybe the remote could be integrated with Alexa or an app on your phone, or even a wall mounted button that doesn't need batteries. that privacy glass is needed in all glass bathrooms that are becoming popular so your neighbors don't see you taking a piss or bathing.

i personally would probably extend the jumping platform out another foot or 2 and move the small garden platform back away from the jumping spot but a few feet. as for the outside tub/shower, if it was a special room on it own its fine, but other otherwise I would want a retractable roof to enclose to at times.

Don't you have a dream home? I feel like everyone does. It doesn't even have to be a big fancy house, just something that you adore design wise and it's something that you feel at home in. Heck, it could be the house you already live in. It could be an apartment.

In a world where the Simpson property could cost multiple millions depending on the location, I thought that dreaming of a couple of non-essential rooms was already setting the bar very high... This is on a whole different level! Personally, I don't like the milk glass. I would have preferred one-way mirrors, even if they cannot be switched on and off. Speaking of Japanese design, I would want a Genkan and an Engawa. The prior is an antechamber where you take off your shoes and outdoor garments. The latter is a type of veranda, today with panorama windows that can close it off into a corridor. Just imagine the view of your garden from the comfort of your home and if the weather is nice, you can open it up and have a smooth transition between indoors and outdoors... You could also have a room like this in the garden with special ventilation so that you can do BBQ or garden events in any weather...

The technology in the windows uses crystals that, when an electric current passes through them, they get arranged in a way that blocks some of the light.

The privacy glass is power controlled and if the power goes out it’s stuck in its current position so I’d almost always have it dark for that reason alone

About the bathtub/showers... What if it does happen to rain. i know its rare, but if it rains, that means you cant shower / bath? or what if its a bit colder? Another thing to point out is the fact that what if someone has a drone, and is being a creep? There is no privacy from above, from what I can see.
