@@ColoradoCamperman Hello, we are Acoucou Battery. Noticed that you haven't updated for a long time and would like to ask you how you are doing lately, we would like to invite you to test unbox our LiFePO4 battery ~ looking forward to your reply.
You are correct and In the full description it shows 2 Baskets are supposed to be included with it so anyone who buys it need to reach out to the seller to make sure they include them when it is sent. The reviewer may have had them but maybe didn't have them inserted during the review. I was surprised when he didn't really show the inside very well if at all but it is still a good review. Following is what's included take right from the listing. What's in the box 54 Quart Portable Refrigerator *1 Basket *2 12V/24V DC Power Cord(10.82 ft) *1 100-240V AC Adapter(6.56 ft, for Wall Socket/Power Station etc.) *1 User Manual *1
@@ColoradoCamperman Really good review but the title has a typo. It says 56 quart but that's not a deal breaker. Lol I've been looking at things to make life easier in a blackout or shorter power outages because it only happens after I grocery shop for meats. I'd reach out to the seller if the 2 baskets weren't included with yours because 2 baskets are shown in the "included" list in the posting for this item from the seller so you should not have to make a seperate purchase to get them and it might help others to add that they should be included to your review. Thanks for the video. This past week I bought the same but I’m the 45 quart size. Love it and it froze 1/2 cup of water in 1 hour. Only thing I noticed is that the lights that illuminate when you open the lids stay on even when the lids are closed. Is this the case with yours? I noted that on the online literature it states the lights are automatic and turn on when you open the lid.
Thanks for the feedback. Reached out to customer service and they asked me to do a magnet test as that’s how the lights come on and off or the lights it self could be defective as per their customer service. Doing the test tomorrow, but either way they told me they would send the replacement parts with detailed PDF instructions on how to make the repair. So far their customer service of pretty good. 3:20
This looks VERY much like the 80qt NewAir I bought awhile back and had to return to Amazon bc the temperatures wouldn’t stay set. Hmmm…I’m on the wall about this one worrying it ‘might have’ either been built by or exactly copied from NewAir. Thanks for sharing, Brian! ~Jim~
Can you remove those slides mounted on the side and the brackets that hold them on for that extendable handle? That looks like it takes up a lot more space and I would be using this in a small hatchback car.
With solar, the only thing you have to worry about is your battery situation at night. During the day while the Sun is out, power is usually not a problem.
Hello thank you so much for this review! Ive been looking for one and decided on this one. I clicked your link and its not the 56qt like yours its the 45qt. Do you have the link for the one on your video because i cant find it anywhere on amazon
They are currently sold out of the 54 quart on Amazon and even on their website. I am going to email the company to see if they will be getting more inventory soon or if they have discontinued this model.
I just bought a coat away that looks exactly the same! I plug it in! And I try setting the temp to colder it still at its 26 degrees set temperature! How do I set it
how cool does it get after 1 hour? sometimes i want to buy ice cream at grocery store, but the ride back is 30 minutes and 105 degrees in texas so my ice cream is pretty much melted by the time i get home.
After one hours it will be below freezing. We used it last weekend for a one night trip. We plugged it into an AC outlet while we were packing, within 20 minutes one chamber was down to 36 degrees and the other was down to 40 degrees. The fridge started out around 85 degrees. The fridge would work out great for that. You could plug it into your 12 volt adapter in your vehicle and have it cooling while you drive to the store and back home. It's a great fridge, we have really enjoyed it. Thanks for watching!
@@Fantabulousgames the title says "best dual zone...." he didn't really explain what makes this the best or better than other options. if it truly is the best, we should have higher expectations
Good question, I didn't test that. On a few trips, my power station died and the fridge was off for 30-60 minutes. It seemed to hold it's temp for at least that long.
It's pretty big. I could have done a better job at showing the inside of the cooler and also showed what we had in there on our trips. They also have a 64 quart dual zone that they offered me, but I actually turned them down because I thought it was too big (it was a little taller and wouldn't fit under the Moonlander bed). They have a 58 quart cooler that is actually physically smaller than this one, but it is 4 quarts bigger. They are able to accomplish this because it is not a dual zone. It is also about $130 cheaper. Thanks for watching!
Google says it's ~30 quarts per cubic foot. Now you (me) can compare refrigerator sizes in familiar terms. This item holds 54 quarts, or a little under 2 cubic feet. Google says you can put about 25 pounds of meat per cubic foot. I hope this makes comparison a little easier. It does for me.
i only store sour cream lettuce salsa and cheese. for taco salad. and eggs sometimes for omelettes or egg sandwiches. i dont need freezer. so do they well one that is 100 percent fridge. without freezer.
Pretty sure the door is not for course but it's for a battery period I'm looking on how to adjust the temperature minds a piece of c*** And it changed on its own the freezer's cooling and the refrigerator's freezing
Those molded in handles are lousy. I need handles where I can tie down the fridge in the back of my truck. Otherwise looks pretty decent. Companies need to mold in tie down points. Like anything on Amazon, this unit is no longer the lowest cost option.
I agree, those handles are not great. Especially when your cooler is full! Other than that it is a great cooler. We just used it last weekend for a trip to the mountains.
There is a sticker right next to the controls that explains how to do that. Therefore I did not feel the need to me to waste time in the video reading a sticker with instructions. Thanks for watching.
@@ColoradoCamperman Well, I didn’t see or hear you indicate that.. but if you are going to show something please show as much as possible to help people such as myself who can learn from watching , my comprehension skills are poor.. Thanks 😊
No and no. The controls on the fridge are easy to operate. Personally I hate how everything is controlled by your phone. Too many apps to keep track of! Thanks for watching.
@@avenger2.099 A lot of people like the ability to check everything (fridge, water, solar, detectors etc etc) from their phone so they can monitor everything easily, instead of walking around checking everything individually.
