Hey Mike! I'm presently a cancer patient with a feeding tube; unable to eat, but love all your videos brother! I eat vicariously through you; the food looks fantastic and the fact that you enjoy yourself so much brings me joy. I enjoy the 'little' things in life now and to see you enjoy your life, travels and meals are such a pleasure. If you are ever visiting Chengdu, I highly recommend the dumplings! Good dumplings, but the chilli oil is the star of the show; so fragrant with fresh herbs/spice mix with that numbing Sichuan peppercorn. Literally, the best sauce I've ever tasted anywhere! I could put that stuff on everything (except dessert, that would be weird)

My god thank you... My mother's friend always gifted us some dumplings she buys in bulk and I always wondered what brand they were. The bags were unmarked usually since she gives us like 1 1/2 bags in a gallon ziploc, but those dumplings from the first place looks just like what I have been searching for. WOOHOO

I’m from Fuzhou and those wontons are actually how they are made back home. In Fuzhou, the skin is made from meat (pounded super super thin and then wrapped around more meat. I went to that place in New York and can say it is extremely authentic, tasted just like home!

oh yeah, let me recommend a soup dumpling place in flushing too, it’s called nan xiang. It’s close to the second place in the j mart food court. I’m pretty sure u just walk up a bit more and make a left and you’ll see it. It usually has a big line during the weekend so u bet it’s really good

Fist of I would kindly ask you to read my story Mikey. Today something strange happened. I never ate wagyu in my entire life ( sad I know ). But before waking up, I had a dream. For some reason I met you and we went somewhere to have a nice feast and then I saw it, the first time I saw wagyu in person. And obviously I tasted it, BUT even though I never tasted something like this, I could taste the meat. I tasted it due to your descriptions while you eat in your videos! And and wanted to thank you! I highly appreciate you as a person, RU-vidr and food taster! I will probably never meet you ( sadly ), but all I can say, it was a blast spending my day with you in my dream! Hey Mike, love your videos. First time seeing Fuzhou cuisine in your videos which is the first dumpling place you went to. It’s actually quite famous among the FuZhou community, with stores in Flushing and Brooklyn. You should try the peanut butter noodles next time! Would be cool if I run into you one of these days in flushing and show you a few dishes around flushing!
