I purchased this beast a couple months ago, I am 66 YO, been riding motorcycles all my life so I really love this thing, built way better than I was expecting , and heavier than I was expecting too, kind of a chore to fold it up though; wish the handle bars were just a little more pulled back at a slight rack to the rider, can tell the seat will need to be changed for a wider one for sure; but over all I love it.
I hate to tell you this buddy but good luck with getting any parts for that bike. That company seems to have folded their website has even disappeared from the internet. And the fact that that bike has a curved battery it will be hard to find a replacement unless you can rebuild that battery. I had bought this very same bike back in May and I've already sold it due to the fact that I know that it's going to be tough to have repairs done to it and there is zero customer service now. If you don't believe me just look on the internet and see what you can find out.
@@steveb6861 Yea , I have seen where people have said they have skipped out on us (after the purchase, just my luck), Just hoping for a few good years of off and on riding, it is amazing that the bike is built that well and they just couldn't keep the doors open, sad for all of us who is left with a bike we may just have to sit and look at. Thanks for the heads up just the same.
impressive ebike, although it is 750w, its torque power is 85 N/M, they do not consider that, many people when buying a bicycle look for 1000w or 2000w but do not pay attention to the torque produced by the motor, I see comments from people, that they feel afraid with it because it is actually a powerful bicycle.
This will be the perfect ebike for me then, but im afraid of the speed and in my neighborhood there's a car at every block and turn. I just know ill have an accident. Is it anyway i can just ride it like a regular bike without cranking up the engine?
nice review. i just ordered one and im in the over 60 crowd also. i was wondering did you ever find a solution of why the headlamps on made the controler display to dim? would you know the brand of the display or where i can look for settings online? mine is arriving on Friday and im trying to learn everything about it. Hope your father in law is ennjoying it. what a nice gift you got for him.
You can get into your advanced settings by holding the plus and minus button down. Then put in 1313 that will get you into your advanced settings. Then go to 3 that's where your pedal assist settings are at you can adjust them from one to nine and also you'll be able to adjust your speed for each one of those assist settings. I have my pedal assist 1 set at 25 which is around 6 mph. You'll just have to play with some of your settings to see where you like them best at.
I think I bought the last one, because I wanted to buy another one and they no longer have it, they don't even tell you if they will sell it again, if you look closely it is a copy of the engwe pro.
I've noticed this recently I have bought one of the s20s also and was just on their website every one of their bicycles all their accessories including replacement batteries are sold out that does not look good for this company I'm wondering if they went under when I sent them an email I've had no responses from their customer service and if that's the case that means they are not going to honor their warranty on this bike either
