I'm Vietnamese and I heard that Cafe Giảng is popular and it maybe better than Cafe Nắng! But totally it both have our favourite drink every morning: Vietnamese egg coffee!

That looked far better than the last cup of egg coffee you had! The lady looked really sweet and interested in customers as well as making the best food that she could. I loved that huge waffle too! Looked delicious.

I loved the ambiance of this coffee shop more than the other. The other one was just overcrowded and cramped whereas this one seems more like an outdoor cafe. I loved how they presented the coffee over the tealight holder like that! I should try that in the winter to keep my coffee and tea warm. LOL!

Nang Coffee has good quality comfortable chairs for the customers and that adds pleasure to your egg coffee experience. The other place, Giang Cafe, provides uncomfortable, low plastic or wood stools.

That almost looks like Zabaglione with coffee. Remeinicent of a tirami su filling. I think I would try this for sure. I miss Vietnam so much.It looked like you stayed in the French quarter. Lovely! Thank you Steve & Michelle :)

Steve's Kitchen No Steve ! Not here at least. But I found the recipe interesting. Don't we cook egg yolk slowly while making an ice cream ? It looks the same with slow flame

I do Anjali, yes. A good Ice Cream often start with and Egg Custard a great Ice Cream, well that is a Mango Kulfi with Saffron and Cardamom.. What do you say :o) Steve 🙃

I love cafe Dinh because of the lake view, lower price, friendly service but could not enjoy as Vietnamese guys kept smoking inside house. Cafe Giang - little more expensive, rude staff, people smoking inside but the owner was too lovely. I ll definitely try cafe Nang on my next trip

Yup this egg coffee is indeed much better in both service and taste, it is even recommended by the locals whilst i was taking grab to cafe giang. Thumbs up for this video!

the reason they didn't want the camera is because on that street they are not allowed the plastic chair out. If the police come they all go crazy and start bringing them inside, the police take away the chairs and fine the locals.

They stop bothering you when the camera is out because you’re filming...it’s like when you see someone filming or taking pictures, you dont want to ruin their shot; pretty obvious 🤷🏻‍♂️
