Ever since I got my Toro 60V push mower, I have been waiting for a rider. No issues at all with my push mower, I use a 2.5 AH battery and get all the time I need for trimming. However, the price is going to have to come down a bit before I retire my 10 year old John Deere riding mower. I have spent $0 for repairs and I can buy a lot of gas for $6500.
I just checked the warranty, only 3 years on the battery. The JD Z370r has 5 years on the battery and can be extended to 10 year warranty. The Z370r also has a bigger battery 3.5kWh as opposed to 2.4 for the Toro.
Are your prices in line with what Lowe's sells them for, or is there a mark up due to being an independent shop? I watched your other video about the warranty and since you are the authorized dealer to fix Toro, does that mean it wouldn't matter where I purchase it? I live relatively close to Winter Garden, about 15 miles. I just went to your website and this mower you reviewed isn't listed for sale on your site, that's not a good sign for the E Toro. Are you still recommending gas mowers to your customers?
Hi there, most of our prices are in line with any other big box store, if not better sometimes because of offers and incentives. You can shop the product discussed in this video, and 15 other variants in the TORO 60V family, listed on our website here: www.mainstreetmower.com/search?type=product&q=toro+60v Note: On top of a much better inventory of products, we offer top tier customer support, provide repair services, educate you about your product, and help you find the 'right' product for you. None of those things are provided at ANY big box retailer.
I agree. I am in California and can’t buy gas anymore. I am looking to start a lawn care business. I need a reliable battery platform. I am debating Ego and Toro. Ryobi 40 volt seems to week and maybe enough for home owner but not adequate for a lawn care business. I have and love Ryobi tools but I need something stronger.
$6499 for a 42"?? Ryobi just dropped their new 42" to $3999 and are adding in a free cart or bagger with it. It's also an 80V. That price is WAY WAY too high. I expect to see that drop to around $3999 also, very soon. I though it was going to be like $3500.
