Experienced the same in Yamaha MT-15 and did the same thing as you did! Changed to 300v 10w40. Gear shift is butter smooth. And its weird just like you said. As you revv higher, the engine becomes even smooth. I think the reason is the oil is designed to handle high heat and hence the heat goes up, the oil does even better job of lubricating ! Great video BTW
@@karanpuri170 you can run up to 3000km. But next time go for Motul 7100 10w-40. Its made for road. 300V is for pure performance. In general usage 7100 is much better.
Bhai mere paas bhi meri Fz fi hai or uska engine oil mehi change karta hu pr tumne 1 cheez miss kar engine flash, mai hamesha engine me oil dalne se pahele engine flash ka usa karta hu Aap ki is video ko dekh kar mujhe apni hi yaad aagai kyu k mai bhi apni fz ka aise hi khayal rakhta hu. And thanka for this video
Lol... Yeah right Motul is not so good its maximum protection is only 6,000kms so for safety you should change it around 3,000-4,000kms... It doesn't compete with Amsoil,Redline,RoyalPurple,Lucas
Mene abhi october 2020 me FZS v3 buy kia and me roz usko 19 km traffic se leke jata hu. Tum jo bol rhe ho woh bilkul sahi h. Mere gaadi me shyd yamahalube dala hua h. Gears barabar shift nahi hote aur heating problem bhi h. Meri first service me mein bhi motul dalwaunga. Thanks bro
Mene apna Pulsar me motul engine oil dala hai 1st time, superb performance by motul. Best oil. Bro, ur video and voice clarity is awesome...nice video..

How much kilometers my fazer will run on this engine oil and in what intervals I have to change my oil and other filter PLZZZ... REPLY SIR ITS A HUMBLE REQ... BIKE LOVER SUBSCRIBER
But WARRANTY ka keya hoga aab In my opinion "MOTUL 5100" is my best choice for this category of bikes. Yes! I used to use full synthetic oils (MOBIL 1 & MOTUL 7100) but once I switched to the 5100 , it's a PERFECT mix of SMOOTH RIDING EXPERIENCE (actually smoother than 7100) & Economically meaningful for this category of bikes
Bhai mera fzs v2 2017 edition 36-37 kmpl ka mileage de raha hai.. 1900 kms chala hai avi tak..3 services aur ek bar oil change ho chuka hai.. aap ko kitna mileage mil raha hai?? Aur mileage badhau kaise, plz bataiye.

Nice video bhai... 👍👍 But I felt the difference in exhaust sound after charging to motul...... Can u suggest the best engine oil for Hornet 160R... 😊😊😊
All engines tend to consume some amount of oil as they age. The quantity of oil that is consumed has not been rated or specified by manufacturers. Even a brand new engine may consume minute amount of oil. The amount of oil consumed definitely goes up as with the age-related wear and tear. It is my own experience, not once but twice, that V300 tends to get consumed much more faster than ordinary mineral oil. There are incidents when all the synthetic oil gets consumed so fast that there is no oil left! It is a highly risky situation as engine can simply cease or there may be exaggerated wear and tear which is irreversible. Whatever performance improvement you may have noticed could have been due to other maintenance like chain tightening, control cable adjustments(clutch cable, accelerator cable), air filter cleaning, etc. The claim that fully synthetic oil lasts for 8,000 KMs or 10,000 KMs is made with the assumption that oil consumption is very low and it is topped-up periodically. The claim that "it lasts for 10,000 KM" is made with primary regard to lubrication properties of the remainder oil, and not necessarily the volume properties. Fully synthetic was made for competitive and sports use like racing, not for ordinary errands or routine. You should remember that these bikes get anyways get new oil much earlier than the 10,000 limit. They will change the oil the very next day too if required. For the long-term, my advice is to stick close to what the manufacturer has advised rather than trying out experiments.
Thanks for your detailed explanation bro. I have the same bike as the uploader of the video. I can assure you yamalube is a shitty oil. I have been using the manufacturer recommend oil in my bike and facing excessive over heating, very hard gear shifts and "kirr" "kirr" sound mentioned by the uploader. Many others are facing the same issue. This is only because of the shitty quality of the oil yamaha is using. I am not saying 300v is best for this bike but pretty sure the "manufacturer recommended" yamalube is the worst. I also don't agree that the changes one experiences after changing the oil is because of other factors like chain lubing, etc. I would encourage you to read reviews about 300v or 7100 and see what owners felt after adding these oils to their bikes. I am sure not all of them lubed their chain after changing the oil. About topping up of oil. KTM for example uses only fully synthetic for their 390 engine and their recommend oil is Motul 7100 which is a fully synthetic oil. Their service interval is 7500kms and there is nothing mentioned in their service book about topping up of oil between services. I am sure they must have done research on this subject that the oil levels drop or not if not topped up between services.
True. I used to put Motul 7100 and everytime during servicing, only 500 ml of oil used to come out. Synthetic oils can't be kept for a long time inside the engine, use them only if you are continuously riding the vehicle and for long distances. Else mineral or semi synthetic are best.
@@rahul12885833 Correct bro i have Pulsar Rs200 I'm using Bajaj Engine and getting sound like Kir kir and my bike is new only 2500kM run but now I'm going to Change my Oil to Motul 20W50 F S
Ooohooo....bro...what r u doing? Dont recommended wrong things... first u do wrong thing by putting synthetic oil in bike on its first service. Never ever do that... i dnt know how service center allow this... because of new engine the motions in its parts is not free like regular old engine. There is lots of wear and tear in parts. Which cause production of metal burr by engine parts. Thats why company always suggest u to drive slow first 2000km run. Mineral oil very usefull to move out this burr from engine. Compare to synthetics oil. May be this burr is reason of that noise in your engine and gearbox. Which not get out easily by synthetic oil. And 300V is not for 150cc bikes...its for 500cc to 1000cc bike. Dont waist your money on it. Semi synthetic oil in enough for your bike. Pls take all techinical knowledge abut it.
@@nirmal_kumar_ak its on u ...what u need. Synthetic oil has its own advantages but fact is how much this advantages used by your bike. FZ not run like 250cc to 500cc bikes, where rpm is high or temperature generate higher. 150cc bike never use much advantage of fully synthetic oil like big engines bikes. If u used your bike rough tough ,always in rush in heavy city traffic or long run then may be u have choice to go with fully synthetic oil but i prefer u for semi synthetic which is enough for 150cc bike for longer run. 👍 and always refer company grade oil. No daut its mineral, semi or fully synthetic oil.
@@surajghule8865 bro for hornet after my 5 service im changing my oil brand to motuel semi synthetic 15w50.and next to fully synthetic 10w 40 is it fine With my choice?
@@madhush5123 bro... u can go directly for fully synthetic... There is propaganda in market that 1st go for semi & then go for full synthetic. But its all lie. And without technical base. go fully synthetic. But avoid changing grades... first tell me what technical advantages u see to change the grade? May be not any. If bike engine really flexible to work any grade of oil at any tym...then bike company was never tell u to put any fix grade oil. They was never tell any grade at all. So go as grade. See manual or ask any honda authorised service center about hornet oil grade.
Hi S R i m using motul 300 v2 10w50 instead of 10W40 in manual n found top speed gone down n bikes vibrates a lot above 6000 rpm. Please suggest should I change ?
I have used same thing but after 15 days I have given for bike service in showroom then after if cross 70 80 kmph then I can here some noise is it because of the oil or something else

I can feel bro different of sound..Motul is best..I ordered this from flipkart let's see what happen but i know motul best because i have commuter bike yamaha saluto whis is same as you told in video ..i always service from service center but first time not serviced just change oil motul 3000 4T Plus 20w40 ..which is very cheap but performance mind blowing..can't believe bike back like new one
Before yamalube 10w40 was introduced, yamaha used to recommend 15w50 oil for FZ ,also i have used 15w50 in my fz v3 for more than 6000 kms now, mera engine tho seize nahi hua 🤭
Can i use this oil on fzs v3?? Bike runs upto 2000km. Feel gear shifing problem. If i put this oil,in future will be any problem regarding warrenty?? Plz do reply

Hallo brother, Mery Cbz xtreme bike he. Uska ye problem he ki jab tak bike puri taraha se garam nahi hoti tab tak clutch thik se engage nahi hota he aur gear bhi smooth nahi padte. Toh konsa oil grade use kare?☺
Use 10w40 yamalube fully synthetic and get city milege 45 highly 58 km. 6 saal hogye no problem . 450₹ change every 2000 km . I use to cover indore to Shirpur 210 km 3 hour 25 min journey avg speed 85 to 90 .BUT MOTUAL IS BEST FOR FZ.
Bhaii... I'm fz s v2 owner... Bike servicing kaha karna sahi hoga... authorised service center me ya local garage.... Bcz aaj tak dono ka service experience itna khass nahi rha
Hello brother, which synthetic oil could I use on my platina 2006 model for better engine performance .The bike was almost 13 years old.plz reply my comment.
I have got a Suzuki Gixxer 155 BS6 (Naked), my first service is coming soon at between 750-1000 KM so I want to know which engine oil should I go for. Fully synthetic (Motul 7100) or Suzuki provided semi synthetic (Ecster MA R7000) or fully synthetic (Ecster R9000)
After 2nd service, overall performance is reduced. I have completed 4K KMS and I have lost the joy of riding. I did ask them to put synthetic oil ( 400rs lol) during 2nd service. Now Less pick up, struggles to cross 100.. How is the overall pick up and what top speed you can achieve? PS: I have the same model
