I did a performance of this song with my friend and she forgot the part that says "I can drink my liquor faster than a flicker", so she just wound up saying "I can drink my soda, faster than....Yoda." 😂
The guy: "Where do you hold all that air?" Annie: *pushes out chest* The guy: *widens eyes and walks away* Me: Hahhhahahaha omg that would so be me hahhah hahaha!!!
You can always tell when it’s a highschool production, not from the singing, but because the ensemble is just standing around in the background doing whatever 😂
That's one of the best high school productions I've seen. Both of the leads have very mature voices. Loved it!! Wish I could have seen the whole thing.
lol when she said can you bake a pie, that reminded me so much of when me and my friend thought it was a good idea to do a bake off.... not the best idea..
It's great to hear this song in its original 1946/66 arrangement rather than the souped up version of the 1990's revival. The two youngest performers are terrific. She has just the right pizazz for Annie and he has a beautiful voice. I hope both of these young actors continue to perform as they get older - maybe even go into SHOW BUSINESS ('cause, as we know, THERE'S NO BUSINESS LIKE SHOW BUSINESS).
Terrific! This Frank Butler has a wonderfully mature voice for any male under the age of 25, and Annie carries off her little victories with panache. Geez, I'd love to take a stopwatch to that sustained note --- I've seen this play often and that has to be a record for endurance, pitch, and general wallop. Congratulations!
She held that note longer than Bernadette Peters did!-- [She held it for 15 seconds] but Lauren Tyner---> You held it for 20 seconds! Felt like 5 mins lol... Love it!!! :D
Wow!! Wish the entire show was available. These two are amazing. Was this a high school production? I’m always amazed by the incredible talent of young performers you can find on RU-vid
Good for a high school production, not the best ever though. I don't know if it's even a high school production, but it seems like it. Just my opinion though.
