@@MOW262 I mean in training we usually dont hit at full force bc if we did the training wouldnt last very long before wed have to call an ambulance but for me I can easily get a 6`2 man twice my weight down on the ground unable to get up in seconds while being 5`6 and quite light myself. Its about tecnique not the strenght of the hits also where you hit is important bc systema uses the human anatomy against us, finding the smallest little spots that hurt the most

I can see my comment might come off a bit cryptic so I'll indulge... see ... if you show a grappler a boxing match he will have no clue what he's looking at and where the danger is and vice-versa. actually even more specifically - if show somebody that hasn't done leglocks a match where somebody does leglocks he will have no clue what he was looking and how vicious they are. Actually this was the case for many bjj guys before 2018 - when danaher released his "leglocks - enter the system series". I know that because I was rolling at a bjj school out of town in Aug 2018 (even after the dvd was released) and was catching guys with straight knee locks and straight ankle locks easily. Fast forward to 2022, same gym: I was catching nobody with those easy locks. and there were some players there that were deadly against ANYBODY on the ground - just with armbars and leglocks. So people learned - because they faced off that danger... but before nobody thought much about it. It's the same with Mikhail - I believe UNLESS you have showed up to one of his seminars to prove him wrong, then it's impossible to understand the danger. It was for me. He has a calm, gentle way about him, but if you want to pick up the speed and dig in your heels, you can feel the clear, cold icey feeling of real danger in the air. The power and speed of those fists is the same feeling that you have if you face off a big dude that can kick FAST. No matter how brave you are, you feel it inside that he WILL really hurt you and you won't even have time to make a silly face. Unless you've tasted those tastes and smells people still think their technique, cover, head-movement bla bla will protect them. People have no clue - that's why they talk all the bull in the comments section on the internet but I have yet to see one video where somebody bested Mikhail. I showed up and tried and I saw other tough guys try to do the same - no luck dude. Now - if you had that experience... and... also have been lucky with other experiences ... then I can only say that watching Mikhail is an experience for my at a physiological level. This is a HUGE guy, that moves with amazing ease and control... and always at the edge of danger... I wish I could give a glimpse somehow... Anyhow with your anger, ego and beliefs you will probably get more irritated by this... but maybe a different person, another time will get a glimpse.
