As a bit of actual backstory, Dan Masuda used to be a lead designer for Triple Aught Design, and created some of their most popular packs. He's a fantastic designer, and it's really worth looking at his backpacks which are really innovative. He uses a vast array of materials and the pouch articles come in a few variations, the one you see here, another with a different internal configuration, and there is a thinner version which has a slightly more elegant profile. It should be noted that they are not all that hard to buy, yes they sell out but he releases weekly and you can if you want one usually pick something up at drop time.
I can see Matsuda in a dark bar, surrounded by a bunch of EDC nerds from the wrong side of the river. One of the nerds pulls out a pouch, ready to do a competitive dump. Matsuda whips out that pouch, saying, "That's not a pouch, THIS is a pouch!"
I've been looking for a pattern for days on how to design an edc pouch. I want to take my business to that horizon. Do you know where I can find a tutorial or a template?
I want one. But wouldn’t know what to put in it. A little too much for me i think. But I still want one just cause it looks cool. Probably not gonna pick one up unless my edc grows substantially to fill this up. The smaller ones are too expensive in comparison to this offering less “value”
Amazingly practical sling/pouch. No idea what kind of voodoo this man does to make these, but they're worth every dime. Yes. A pouch is worth paying that much for.
