Thank you! Life saving video.. Would love to know if I should apply this same method when using a windows ? QuickTime does not read on windows, so it makes it less convenient when identifying the videos for organizational purposes.
Sorry for the silly question, but what I use to do in AE and Media Encoder 2022 was AE>send it to Media Encoder then I'd select QuickTime with the Animation preset, do you know what the equivalent for that would be in Media Encoder 2024 as the preset's no longer there. I would render directly in AE 2024 but for some reason it's blowing the file size up far more, even more than what QuickTime Animation movs did in Media Encoder 2022.
Where I open a project from after effects to media encoder it takes a couple hours or more to load. Do you know where I went wrong? I’m new to editing.
Hey! How can someone avoid the Gamma Shift when exporting on Mac? In Davinci Resolve we have the "fix" (Rec.709-A) color managment. Is there a solution to export something on AE with a Mac M1 and see it similar to what you see inside AE? This is issue is driving me and a million people crazy. Merry Christmas
Hi there! Typically I check the box next to render at maximum render quality when I am using assets that are in a larger resolution than what I am exporting in. For example if I use graphics that are in 4k but render out in 1080p, then I check the box. That is what this option is for. So it may or may not apply depending on what you are rendering out of After Effects. Render at maximum bit depth refers to color. Typically I don't color grade in After Effects, but if you are and you have footage that is shot in a high bit depth, then yes for sure! Do check the box. :)
