Yesterday I just bought the Baby got Peach and The Child palettes! I was hoping to satisfy my desire for the Urban Decay wild greens palette for half the cost. Great timing on this video, thank you for helping me further justify my spending. :)
When you say your makeup always turns out looking good when you use certain pallets… girl, your makeup ALWAYS looks good! You do the most gorgeous eyeshadow looks I’ve ever seen!
Yes! I love how she describes the coloto use i, the quality, and best way to use them. Added bonus is she is beautiful and the sweet. Also super educating. I told my bf just yesterday how makeup can teach hand to eye coordination, memory and access the pleasure center of our brain. 🤣🥰 LOL He still doesn't agree but hey as School House Rocky says "Its fun to learn Knowledge is power."
No one raves about essence palettes. I even gave mine (before I knew how extremely horrific they were) to a very very very poor acquaintance with zero palettes , she texted me an hour later saying “is this a f**king joke? This has no colour. It’s just powder.” And she is the least picky person I’ve ever met. Then again I know I’m pickier than some. Remember those $2 ELF quads. Omg. I thought they were dreadful but a lot of YTers said how great they were. The shimmers were okay but the mattes were dry and powdery. Worse than makeup Revolution.
@@Puglover130 lol, well glad it was cheap. The newest bunch of palletes they came out with seemed to have everyone raving about them and how they improved. Guess I'll find out when I try it. 😂
I'm diving back into my Glamlite Ice Cream Dream and that has been so much fun. I've also been loving the Club Nebula palette from Kaleidos, Just a Glitch and Lilac You a Lot from Colourpop. Can you tell I love pastels? 😂 I also ordered the ND Pastel palette and I'm so excited to play with that!
Thanks for reminding me about the “Child” palette from CP! I love how approachable it makes doing a green look💚This video is inspiring me to go through my collection(first to organize it😂) but also to put together my favorites for Spring❣️Thank you for that!🥰 Have a great week ahead in your new home 🏡
In spring time I always take out my Colourpop pastel nine-pans. I have the Mint to Be, Cloud Spun, On cloud blue and Baby got peach. What I like about these palettes is that they all have very good formula and even thou they are pastel colours, the colours show up and blend very nicely. 🌷
I actually just ordered the baby Yoda palette and the Love Notes palette from Beauty Bay for spring eyeshadows. I'm really excited to receive them both for the coming season!
Oh girl!! You’re going to love the flower beauty jungle lights one too! The purple-ish, and pink shades are one and done! I find the formula is very similar to give me glow foil shadows, and can’t believe the price!!
Omg I was about to say jungle lights reminds me of the givemeglow formula.. I read thr rest of your comment and had to comment you again. What a coincidence.
@@shalesmarie4134 it’s seriously uncanny! I can swatch them side by side and wouldn’t know the difference!! Lol! Gmg has a ton of shades tho, and I still love my singles collection! Lol
@@kristentrep5038 totally agree with you. Givemeglow has a wonderful formula. I don't really care for any other shadows from flower.. except their jungle and desert palettes. They should make more like that and work on their matte formula and make palettes. Would be perfection. And givemeglow.. they just rock.
Ooo spring palette curation time already 🎊🎉🥳😃: loves of good stuff you’ve got going on , this year for me my spring specific palette curatin would be : Zoeva Cosmtics - together we shine palette Tarte - tartelette full bloom and juicy palettes (the large juicy palette ) ABH Norvina - vol 5 palette ND - MIDI retro palette Sigma - Cinderella and dream palettes
In spring I do a single pastel shade look (lilac you a lot and The child palettes are my fave ) all over and on the lower lash line then big lashes and liner. Love the contrast and light and dark
Ditto on everything you said about the Huda Beauty Retrograde. I just got the Violet Voss Wild Dahlia this weekend. I used it for the first time yesterday and I am in love.
Essence Nothing Compares To Nude and My Rose Will Go One is new to my collection. They were the first two palettes I bought at the start of the new year. I picked up Colourpop By The Rose Palette and I love the color story of it. I purchased the HUDA Beauty Mercury Retrograde Palette and I love it. I'm traveling during Easter break and I'm bringing this palette with me. I love it since the Nebula shade is so pretty.
Colourpop definitely has some great spring editions. I am going to get my yoda palette and probably buy some other interesting coral or blue to soak in those spring vibes.
I definitely gravitate to mint, peach, pink colors in spring. And I have all those colors from Colourpop’s monochromatic 9 pans! I want to try All Amethyst since I don’t have that color in my collection 😍
I'm torn on the Colourpop All Amethyst palette. I've seen some mixed reviews saying the quality isn't up to typical Colourpop standards. Love the purples though 💜
I just got Feeling Bubbly, it's very nice and I am glad that I picked it up. I also have the Child and will be wearing that one too, along with CP Wild Nothing. I need to pull out my BH Galaxy Chic out too, it's colorful but in a soft way and will be nice for spring as well. Good video.
Andrea thank you for this video I was thinking about what palette I could use for the spring early today. So glad I saw this video ❤️ this is why I am always watching your makeup drawer I get inspiration from you 💕
Great suggestions! I tend to go for more peach/pink/coral type color schemes in the spring. I've been using BH Lost in LA and the Theory VII (I think it's what it's called) from Viseart lately.
you seriously look soooo stunning!!! motherhood looks beautiful on you. i loveeee the essence palettes so i had to grab both of the newest palettes. i also reallllly love my huda beauty mercury retrograde, and now i understand why you were so obsessed with it!!! 💜💜💜
My favorite palettes for Spring are: - Colourpop Garden Variety Palette (my favorite since it's neutral with pop of colors) - Colourpop Cabana Club Eyeshadow Palette - Colourpop Blush Crush Palette - Colourpop Nude Mood palette - have to repurchase - Huda Beauty Mercury Retrograde Palette - Elf Cosmetics Mint Melt Eyeshadow in Chocolate Mint (got it from Marshall's) - Natasha Denona Mini Love - Wander Beauty Wanderless Palette - Violet Voss Violet Sunset Palette - Wet N Wild 9- Pan Palettes in Passion Fruit and Cherry Armor - Elf Cosmetics Bite Size Eyeshadow in Cream & Sugar, Truffles and Rose Water - Elf Cosmetics New Classic Palette - Colourpop By The Rose Palette - Essence My Rose Will Go On (Bachelor franchise) - Essence Nothing Compares To Nude - Essence Dancing Green - L.A. Girl 9- Pan Play in playmate
Thank you for the great video and for providing so many ideas for colors, selections and price options. All of the gorgeous colors male me think of spring.
Hello Hello Andrea it's been so long I got so depressed with this whole COVID-19 and got caught up in that whole Beauty box trend well I'm back to just buying single makeup. Though I'm on a No buy Low buy right now. I'd much rather venture out to the beauty supply or TJ Maxx or Marshalls and pick what I want for the same money. These were some good shadows though got to go through my stash and see what spring colors I already have. It's been so long I've read in the comments that you either had a baby or you're having a baby and y'all relocated CONGRATULATIONS. You look FANTASTIC I am such a fan of your hair. You hair looks amazing. Well I'm back you'll be seeing me in the comments. Thank for the shadow spring tips. I'm in NYC it was warm today but March is our month for wind. So I'm still thinking winter, but I know it Spring shopping now Easter is around the corner but first the Luck of the he Irish☘️☘️☘️ see you soon 🤗🤗🤗💄
I agree! The Mercury Retrograde is really great for spring! Same with the the Child palette. The Baby Got Peach is still on my wishlist and maybe I'll snag this one text time CP has a good sale, together with the Blush Crush palette. I really hope they will do another free international shipping month, that would help me out a lot :D Other palettes I really do enjoy for spring are the cp So Very Lovely, Nabla's Soul Blooming, ABH Norvina and an old one by Essence called Give Me My Crown, it has very nice soft, springy shades. Thank you so much for the video! 💕
I saw that it was only available online, too. And I've seen the same comment about the pallette being delivered shattered. That's why I haven't made an attempt yet.
@@rebekahsalazar3995 it’s quite frustrating, I ordered that one and the jungle lights palette. Came just thrown in a box no bubble wrap just some paper thrown in with it. Surprised the other palette came intact
@@jessicalynn8746 that's exactly how my order came yesterday. My Essence pallete, a lipstick, body scrub, and 3 blushes just thrown in a box with only 2 plastic air pillows.
Hey Andrea, are you all settled in at your new home?? It always takes time to get spaces organised in the way you want it, I hope you’re still in good spirits. 😊😊 I love your take on this video with Spring time palettes! Thanks for reminding me to get the Mercury Retrograde palette, it looks so pretty, how would you describe the shimmer shade formula in the palette? I hope they don’t dry up over time….
Yay, love this video I’m ready for spring! I am so glad I picked up the Huda Mercury Retrograde (on your suggestion) because I love it. And I have the Jungle Lights & it’s amazing quality as well. Some of my others I like during the spring are my Colourpop Fade into Hue & Making Mauves, Bh Pistachio & Lost in Los Angeles & BPerfect Tahiti. Tbh I wear color every day, no matter the season but I know certain colors are more popular during certain seasons. 💜💜 I’d love to pick up the Glamlite Ice Cream one, so many pretty pastels in there as well.
Thanks for sharing Andrea I so wanted to pick up the Flower Beauty but it has dimethicone in it I'll check the rest because I had to declutter so much eyeshadow!! Hope your weekend is going good hi to the family 👪 🐶 😊. Oh I found I was unsubscribed to your channel I thought I would watch some old videos on UD Naked pallettes because they don't have dimethicone and I noticed that so I resubscribed something is up with utube because thats 3 channels I watch regularly that I watch, rate, comment on I just don't understand it makes no sense.. I thought I would share 💞💛
I just subscribed to your channel...i am addicted to your channel :) Kara Beauty has some amazing spring palettes on ebay pretty cheap &new. The colors are so vibrant; i highly recommend Bloom Into You palettes,Girls just wanna have sun, Girl Scout is a really pretty palette &Purple haze is amazing, Orange Pop palette is amazing, Queens' Kush palette & Cali slush I own &i feel the beauty community does not say enough on these...it's a shame too because the quality is very very good.
That means so much! Thank you for subscribing to my channel! I am definitely going to check out the palettes you mentioned. I would love to find some new brands and products this year!
My sweetie just bought me the Norvina Pro Pressed Pigments with 24 purple (*#5 palette*) and the Care Bears X Violet Voss. These are my b-day presents which is March 22nd this month. I too am on a no buy and I think he feels guilty because Hot Topic has 2 Hello Kitty eye palettes and he bought them too. Not very good quality but it's the thought and I am a collector of HK.
I really want the CP all amethyst pallet it looks so pretty and I love purple and haven't found the perfect purple pallet yet. ND retro and the Huda beauty quartz pallet are on my list too.
You're so sweet! I used to wear an A necklace but my husband got me a T necklace for Christmas because our baby's name start with T! 💗 So now I wear the T necklace!
I bought all the Essence 6-pan palettes, except for Ice Ice Baby. I cannot stand blue eyeshadow lol!! I have the ELF Earth and Ocean (whatever it's called) and that's plenty of blue for me!! I want the Child palette!!
I love Huda again I can't use it 😩 I can use ND she does have a some shades I guess that's why her pallettes have different textures like Huda but Huda uses dimethicone I got that huda pallette for Christmas from my husband that and the TF and I can't use either of them.
Kaja trios are good and If you take in consideration that a super shock shadow from colourpop is $6 to $7 as well you won’t fell that is very expensive
