Great review! I’ve seen west paw a lot and their toys are very expensive. I definitely understand that it is super boring after a while.

My rotty mix has had one since she was a puppy. Side note, we had a much more heavy chewer German shepherd mix for 3 years and the GSD honestly didn't touch it. I definitely liked it while she was teething but now as an adult she will carry it around sometimes but it's definitely jot her favorite. We have found spraying beef broth on it definitely helps keep her interest. Herr cigar is a pretty long lasting good basic toy.

It is clear that you didn’t like this toy because of the price and that your dog won’t play with it by himself. My dog absolutely loves this toy and will sit happily gripping it with his mouth. We play fetch, he chews on it and grips it like a pacifier. I believe ALL dog toys should be used with supervision. This toy is absolutely the toughest toy my “powerful chewer” dog has, and it has lasted over a YEAR now with daily play and chewing. I highly recommend this toy to anyone with a dog that is a powerful chewer - it is worth every penny.

I wish I could find a good chew toy for my 60-lb black lab/golden cross Seeing Eye dog. She can’t have Nylabones due to a tooth extraction as a puppy. The Goughnut ring and Kong goodie bone don’t excite her.
