Does anybody else think that using the glyphs is making luz stronger physically? Like she was thrown into a pillar hard enough to break stone, held a flaming ball in her hand (even with fireproof gloves that would be Insanely hot) and way more. She’s gotten physically stronger since “weak nerd arms” and since belos has glyph marks on his arms maybe using them has physical consequences, for Phillip that would be negative since the titan didn’t want him to know but for luz, who knows. Maybe she’ll be struggling with suddenly being weaker in the human realm.
Or she’s just been doing a lot more physical labor than in the human realm. She’s having to run away from monsters, fight them, and do a whole lot of work for eda. She’s probably just getting stronger over time.
@@mrmiddlestone4037 true but also we see using glyphs does have physical effects with belos, it’s no far fetched to assume luz is getting those same effects in a positive way since she’s working with the isles and not against it

Not gonna lie, Eda and lilith is the best fight in The owl house and has dramatic scene that will make you cry a lil bit. But everyone knows the best thing in the owl house is Lumity and Eda and King.

What coven does shooting fireballs fall under? Everyone seems to do it. Or using telekinesis?? Or teleporting?! Or Turning Invisible!?? Although, Luz may have discovered that one... Everyone seems to be surprised when they see it happen for the first time.
I don't think I've even seen the illusionists turn invisible, now that I think of it. Blinding people with darkness, sure, but they don't seem to use invisibility?

Damn that clawthorne fight was good, I'm glad they'be made peace both with each other and with the curse but man I miss them having magic, wild magic Eda is just the best
Another thing I really wanted to see was the inside of the staffs that belos made, my guess is some kind circuit that includes the four basic spells and goes in different routes for different effects, I mean belos was evil but the tech isn't guilty
The staffs seem to be like artificial Palismen As Belos consume real Palismen, he found a way to Use a combination of magic and technology to artificially channel magic as palismen could And he gifted those staffs to himself and his Golden Guard, to give himself an advantage over other Witches, as palismen became more rare as Belos collect them to sustain himself Hunter switching from a staff to a Palismen, shows his growth as he uses magic naturally and make bonds with the very things Belos rather consume
The thing is she didn’t know it was permanent and didn’t trust her own creativity,intelect,passion,dream and magic to beat her little sister she didn’t trust herself that she can’t beat her sister in the fight because she saw eda’s potential
They are a few things that I don't like in the owl house, but fighting scenes are definetly not one of them. They knew how to interest fans and that's what I love in it
My favourites are definitely amity and the abominton machine, the bones borough brawl, the grom fight, the students of hexside vs the coven scouts, and definitely amity vs Hunter, that fight between them in Eclipse lake reminds me of the first fight between Katara and Zuko and same actress too!😁😁😁🥰🥰
Owl House aired several years ago, and I only had just found out about this show. I cannot accurately put into words how this show made me feel, but I shall try. The camaraderie between all the characters in any of the fight scenes were just so touching and beautiful to watch. The development of the characters were very heartwarming, and sometimes unprecedented.. like Rain, Amity, Hunter, Gus, Lilith. The creativity and work that goes into the animation is amazing (it hits hard, emotionally, when Amity comes to that realization and halts the abomination like that in that bowing position 13:24). I admire that there were so many twists and turns in the entire show because it accurately reflects reality and that not everything will go the way that is intended. Owl House is, by far, one of my favorite shows that I have ever watched.

Am I the only one that noticed that during the first belos fight luz used real magic?!? Owlbert glowed with the aura eda has and so did the ice… there was no glyph in sight
