yesss i did the same!! i left 2 years ago, and would never look back and im older than you .. and still working on figuring out making money, but i have more money now than working a full time job.. insane!!! great vid!! and i currently live off less than 700$ a month! its insane what you can do when you want to!!
I love everything about this! I was complete location independent for 5 years before I met my husband and bought our house. Permanent or not, it is SO worth it to travel full time and see the world!
Totally understand the planning thing. Even just travelling with no set plan for months on end, the amount of time I spent planning the next move, the next hostel, the next transportation is really time consuming and sometimes stressful. I can only imagine doing it while actually working to pay for the lifestyle. There is a lot to be said for financial freedom in the sense of not having insurmountable bills and expenses piling up. I'm criticized often for not buying a house (because that's what the expectation is right), but reality is my monthly expenses are roughly $1100 total total for everything(cable, internet, utilities, rent, groceries etc.) and I'm not tied to anything. Sure I don't own a house but there is so much freedom that comes with that. I think its badass you sold everything to do what you wanted.
That's great, well done you! I think it needs to be more socially acceptable to do things that are not seen as socially acceptable, if that makes sense haha. Everyone is entitled to live life the way they want to. And it's a shame that it takes going against the current to do that sometimes. It sounds like you're able to travel quite a bit as a result of that, happy to hear it!

of course! I got started on places like upwork and Fiverr. the key is to find consistent clients and move off of those platforms. These days Facebook groups for remote work and virtual assistant jobs are excellent resources as well
