While I was in Barbados last month at Oasis beach bar, I decided to order some fish cakes and make this video.
At Rockley beach (Accra beach) you will find the best fish cakes in Barbados at this beach bar. The best thing about them is that they are light fluffy and not greasy or heavy. I have had fish cakes in Oistins or at Miami Beach near the Oistins fish market but I have to say that Joan's are the best.
She showed me how she makes them in her kitchen at her Bar. If you ever get the chance to go to Barbados then you have to try them. Joan also makes a really great rum punch.
