As usual, another great video. So much information. Always like to know the prices. Like to drool over how good it is over there and how reasonable. Lol.
Thank you for your videos! Really helped a ramen enthusiast like me to plan my trip to Japan. Not gonna be anytime soon though 😅. I hope you're doing fine during this pandemic 🙂
Thank you for watching! You'll just have that much of a longer list when travel has safely resumed 😊. I'm doing fine and hope it's the same on your side!
Wow! Impressive, so many mentions in this segment!! Very cool with nice variety of ramen types!!! You ars on fire with the lifting of restrictions!! Great job, stay safe and keep on!!!👏😀👍🏿
Thanks for watching and glad you liked it! Haha yes, crammed in a lot of fish ramen info 😂. Actually, all the footage in this video is from ramen backlog, taken some time ago!
I never imagined there was so much fish based ramen. If my husband finds out he won't eat it anymore (he hates fish, if he knows it's in it or really taste it). The flying fish ramen looks really good! I love flying fish dashi, I prefer to use that in my general cooking over the katsuo dashi, But the number 4 on your list looks good as well.
Endless fish ramen options! That's fantastic that you're already using fly fish dashi. As you're aware, the fish flavors here in Japanese cuisine are generally subtle...maybe you can sneak some in to his food 😊. Number 4 is great!
Number 4 is probably my favorite. I had no idea there was a ramen shop in golden gai, but then again remembering stuff from your visits to golden gai is difficult haha.
No. 4 is excellent and worth the wait! I love how Nagi is sandwiched between all the bars in Golden Gai. Maybe you already ate there one of those nights 😅
Great list, great video. I’ve been lucky enough to try most of these and love them all! Nagi and Takahashi with their deeper flavor are perfect after (too many) drinks. Housenka is delicate and works any time of the day. Gonokami’s shrimp and tomato tsukemen is unique and that pesto takes it to another level. Ichigen is just a long standing favorite that always delivers.
You are a superstar, having visited the bunch! Yes, definitely such a wide range of flavors / styles with all of the bowls, all good for different moods. I think I'll need to expand on this topic in the future - toss in some oyster and shellfish ramen, for example.
I hope that some day I will have the opportunity to go to Japan and enjoy all the types of ramen listed in your video. I would love to try the dipping ramen! Looks so delicious!! Thanks for your very informative videos!! Of course, now I need to have a bowl of ramen! Lol
Indeed - I hope you do in the future and you'll have to reserve a big chunk of time to enjoy all of these 😊. The dipping ramen is amazing and thanks for watching the video! Hope the bowl of ramen you had was good too 😉.
I had the Ramen Nagi bowl on my last trip to Tokyo and while it was delicious, it was too heavy for me and I couldn’t finish it! Real pity though cause it was honestly one of my favourites
The tomato shrimp Tsukemen reminds has that definite Italian vibe. Speaking of which have you done a review of Due Italian? They have some creative bowls. The fromage with prosciutto was really good.
I haven't yet done a video review of Due Italian...that would be a fun one, for sure. I prob need to go back - I think the only footage I have from there is vertical (for IG) 😅
