Man when your in the middle of the wood or if your house is near even a small forest you have kids you need something better then an ordinary flashlight
I have a Sofrin Q8 Pro that is 16,000 lumens, and I love it! Flood, not spot, but the different modes with the ANDURIL 2 interface are awesome! Lasts over an hour on turbo, lasts weeks on low. Not joking, I left it on in candlelight mode and forgot about it. Weeks later it was STILL ON!
@@naor9792 - You may be right, and I just never noticed the step down from turbo to high. I checked the ratings and you are correct. I also have the plus (pro=11,000 lumens, plus 16,000) which lists a bit longer at 2.6 minutes. I must be an idiot as I nave noticed the step down. I’ve used both for hours on high (I thought it was turbo) for hours and found them exceptional. My bad. 😥
@@br8future Agree, - we can never have too much power or too many torches, imo. Spotted the new acebeam M1 due mid august, which had a $40 off "holiday special" at neal's gadgets (might have finished now)so took the gamble it will be good, for a pocket sized torch,( @$269.99 - 40) I Like the idea of the LEP being a manual zoom one out to 1500m along with being a dual head with led (i choose 5000k version).
I'm not buying another flashlight if it's got a strobe/flashing function on it, which is an aggravating nuisance. Apparently I'm not the only one: several website and chat groups exist solely to discuss flashlights available WITHOUT strobes. Go out there and get one. Also, make 'em something other than round so they don't roll away when you set them down. (And, BTW, no flashlight was ever an "investment")
@@br8futureI hate strobe features on flashlights too but I did actually find the flashlight sold at Rural King that only has high and low and that's it and the thing is absolutely phenomenally bright. A light is an investment IMO because it can last a lifetime with proper care and is something that can always be used
I live surrounded by corn fields in southern Idaho. Corn fields are scary. Think if how many horror movies are in corn fields. Animals also hide in there and run across the road at the worst times.
A 600$ Flashlight is just what every homeowner is looking for...smh..I'm just looking for a decent priced Flashlight...This is not very informative for me
1,000 lumens in chefs kiss for a hand-held flashlight. I'm just salty AF that every single flashlight is set as a flood and not a direct beam when it comes to brands I like.
It will flashblind wendigos, skinwalkers, dogman, crawlers, bigfoot, skunk ape, howlers, rake, and anything else that would go boo in the woods. It duplicates the sun so vampires will burst into flames.
there are some security guards who do make enough to afford a $600 flashlight. These guards may work in high-risk environments, such as prisons or banks. Thanks for watching!
I was a security guard for a billion dollar IT company and I assure you that many guards make 6 figures. Many think all guards are the TV kind who are fat and sit and eat chips all night long. The new breed are college grads who know and understand facial recognition software and cyber security. By the way, I'm going to buy the bad arse Imalent. I now own a security company and currently have 5 well trained guards. Cool flashlights and knives rule..
Strobe is ONLY nice for BREACHING a bad guys house at 2 am... How many is US will ever do that. It's a PAIN IN THE BUTT for the rest of us. Can we drop that???
Just purchased a Klarus 21X Pro (around $100) after some investigation. Not saying this is the best for the money. But for a tactical flashlight I think it will rank as one of the better ones.
Unlikely. Who would want a battery-powered (so it is useable anywhere in the world if there is no power), reliable, light, portable and tried and tested torch?
Yes it does. I had this creeper in his car talking trash while walking my dog. I accidentally flashed my light at 40,000 lumen. All I heard was Holy F ing Shit and drove off.
Even these flashlights are not going to look the way this video is trying to make them look, this was edited to make these brighter than they really are.
People who complaint about strobe need to get a real flashlight and stop buying that crappy cheap flashlight. Even value brand like Sofirn/Wurkkos or Convoy doesn't had strobe unless u need it and that after some button click.
I agree! People who complain about strobe in flashlights need to get a real flashlight. There are plenty of great value brands that make flashlights without strobe, or with strobe that is difficult to accidentally activate.
