I'm currently transitioning from the X56 + rudders to a VKB HOSASAT setup with rudders. You're salvage binding gave me some good insight on how to assign mine. Thanks!
This was indeed recommended to me, with all bells and whistles. I put it on hold and totally forgot about it! I am yet to unbox my joystick setup, both of them! I first need to find the time to renovate the room. new chair and desk already there, but I need to stay on track. Maybe that is what wives are for... to keep us on track of things... 😁

Get a smoke machine hooked up for some atmosphere on the bridge. A replicator for the Earl Gray etc. you know the drill.

I literally built a PC just to play this game, also purchased Alpha prime and mc3 throttle unfortunately I didn't order the base for the Joystick lol for what I understand so far the power triangle is essential for performance and only when they are at 100% that you get the benefits so why not put the weapon triangle modifier in scroll wheel so you can only use it when you fire, you have so many options for missile control, In my set up I'm trying to bind all maneuverability with Prime and all engine and other functions on throttle
This is incredibly useful information. Unfortunately, it can be difficult to implement because you don't show the keybinds themselves - and the names for what does what isn't clear.
Can anyone explain why I death spiral when I use my sticks? I had them dialed in but now it’s been a year since I’ve played and controls are different and the more of them and so on. Anyway everything has gone to sh!t and forward slams it in to max strafe right pulling back to nose up spirals in whatever way it wants and fully let the sticks go doesn’t stop anything just keeps going anyone please help
@@Soggyfrontal hold the windows key and press r on the desktop. Then type in joy.cpl change it the stick and see what inputs looks like. You looking for random input not from you. Could just need calibrated.
@@Soggyfrontal hmm probably isn't a calibration issues then. And they're definitely bound correctly in game settings? Sorry if that's a dumb question but off the bat that's what it sounds like.
@@Trikie77 that depends on your level of blowing the bank. I mostly see people going with VKB for the most robust option for the price. Even still though they can be a bit on the pricey end as well. On the really cheap end you've got the t16000 I've heard good thing about them for the price too. But I've never had hands on either of them so defo do your homework 1st.
@@Reds_Resort aoundt 500 dollars was what i was thinking Sc is the only game i play whare we can use sticks :) i look in to it i just dont know whats good an easy to setup
