Hi Dara, Hope all is well? I'm loving the new vids! I've been rewatching all your older videos and want to thank you both for the comfort they bring to me.

Dara & Ian. Ah, memories. In April 1967 I went on my first international trip, a school trip. Rail & ferry to Paris. I was one of the older pupils, at 16, so our part of the group were in one hotel wit the Gym master and his girlfriend as chaperones. Our hotel only did light breakfast and we had vouchers for meals at a large café by the Moulin Rouge. I remember it on a crossroad with the Moulin Rouge on the NW side, our restaurant adjacent across the road, NE. and a big food store on the southern side called Monoprix. As older ones we were relied on a great deal to look after ourselves. If on an excursion we would be the last on the Metro, if the doors closed we would be relied on to find our way back. In the evenings we used to frequent a café bar with beer in a seedy district, our local girl school was in a hotel across the street. Our main reason for the trip was to watch France v Wales in Rugby, we lost!

I so enjoyed this 'memory lane' video. Many many buildings, photos and places I've seen, beeb to or recall from my visit. Then the food. Oh yes, the food. Rich and often 'heavy' with cream and cheese. So decadent. That onion soup, you can wake me up for that. I so dislike that wooden cutlery. It almost spoils the food one eats from it. Loved the interior of the Pharamond Restaurant. The bill looked reasonable too. Now that raspberry tart looked delicious. Chapeau, one cant visit France without eating at least one crepe. What a foodie delight video. Yumyum. 👌🇳🇱🙋‍♀🥝

I watched this whilst waiting for a very mediocre chicken pie to heat through for my lunch....... I am now so regretting my life choices! The only thing missing from this wonderful tour of Parisian cuisine is a box of top quality Macarons from Laduree.

Creme brulee is the greatest! Paris is always a good idea.

Soooo yummy, Dara. Great video, showing so many great foods!! I just love veggie quiche, so I would certainly have joined you in that. But the pastries (or anything involving chocolate and/or Nutella) are a real weakness for me too! 😋👍

You so should have gotten a magenta beret! Team then with those shoes and you'd be rocking the magenta French chic! All of that food looked amazing! We'd love to have tried that French onion soup, he croque monsiuer and the boeuf Bourgigion. Ok you had loads of amazing food! Wow that tart was a work of art! Great video 🍻

Omg Paris suits you guys perfectly all that magenta clothing, English royalty reminders and yummy food (pick pockets not so much lol) Look magenta flowers and a magenta hoody walk by 😂 Living your French transitions! Wow so many magenta shoes (hope a purchase was made or two at €900 a pair 😳) wow that brioche bread sandwich looked incredible! Oh no a none freshly made pastry Ian is not a happy bunny at this point do over time…. Yay it’s a lot better few 😅 omg those desserts look ornamental of course you went for the magenta one! The 1832 Pharamont place with amazing decor looked good so much so Ian couldn’t stop eating it and missed looking at the camera to tell you about it! Good choice on the protein shake for breakfast! French cheese baguette hunt is on…. Oooo good find on the seedy baguette even if you get rid of the veg/salad lol! Eat it for Christa woop woop with a great back drop! Awesome Crepes with a traditional Nutella filling! We are hungry now darn you! Have a great weekend guys 💕

Hiya Dara, when Me, Mam, Dad went to Paris we went with my Dads friend Les (no longer with us), Les thought if you came from France, French people couldn't speak English, we were in a Restaurant in the Latin Quarter, the waitress came to our table and said in fluent English "would you like any tea or coffee after your desserts?" Mam said "No thanks can we just have our bill" Les was using his arms vigorously (like Fold and Fling) thinking she couldn't speak English, I wanted to hide under the table in embarrassment, but I was red faced none the less, this is Choppy in Whitehaven, Cumbria, England

Well Dara & Ian. Where do I start. A gastronomic tour of Paris. All looked so yummy although I’m sure my Diabetic nurse wouldn’t approve. I have to say your Chicken & Mushroom with Mash looked amazing. The making if the crepes is mesmerising. A thoroughly enjoyable watch. Have a great weekend both. We would love the bakery and eating at the French restaurant and it looked delicious. Both the chicken and beef. The custard and chocolate mouse devine! But could you get a bucket?

My goodness all the food looked so good! Well done on riding a bike in Paris, a few years back I went to Paris with some friends who were on their first trip there, one of them found a tour called 'The fat bike tour' (fat bikes are ones with really broad tyres). It was a late afternoon tour, it started OK until we realised we were going to be riding on the road in peak hour traffic!! Let's just say it was an experience, but riding around the Louvre square after dark with it all lit up did make up for it somewhat.

Hi Dara Sorry for my belated comment We were out of town for Memorial Day weekend I have been watching a couple times..very fascinating point of view.. Indeed, everybody has different purpose to visit Paris. Unless it is the first time, PPL go after their desire, I reckon Haha Your passion for food is remarkable... hahah I did not know Paris is full of Magenta color even though I am crazy about the fashion trend. hahah this heel could be a weapon hhahah 4:29 I bet you thought of renting this showcase 4;44 hahah joking what? grilled cheese and ham sandwich? fancy and rich calories, I see 5:23 Oh yes, I love bread, especially, brioche bread. Dara, where do I start. As a resident of Poitou-Charentes ( inland from La Rochelle ) Paris is like a sample city for France. Prices you paid are good & very good for Paris. To your U.S. viewers, please go with the local produce !

you couldn't eat American cookies in Paris? but you ate French Fries which were invented by the British, whilst you was there. I love French desserts/cakes, we have a couple of French bakery's here in Jersey. I use to live a couple of doors down from one and went in in every morning to get my lunch to take to work with me. the last day that I went in before leaving the island (I went to Nottingham for sometime), they gave me my lunch for free. "I haven't had a crepe yet, so that's got to happen today" that is far to much information Dara. lol

If someone refuses to look at the camera and provide a review, that's very uncomfortable for your audience to watch, just FYI.
