My High School plays Southlake Carroll every year, and it’s a massive rivalry. We haven’t won in the past 30+ years. It’s insane.

My HS is in the same conference as Southlake. Everyone at that school are the kids of star athletes. Whenever anyone plays them, it’s always a rout.

Also the richest high school, their schools are so big that they have 2 buildings. They have 1 for freshman and sophomores and 1 for juniors and seniors

It's a very rich city.... it also has one high school. They also expanded their district ao it can take from Colleyville and Grapevine, which are two other big and rich cities, so yeah, they are successful. They get to choose the best of the best every year!

There is a lot of teams you could argue are the best in Texas. Ex: Duncanville, Desoto, Allen, etc. I personally think DeSoto is the #1 football program, but theres lots of others. I would not put this team up with the big dawgs. Duncanville averages 50 points a game against stiffer competition than SouthLake does, and DeSoto bested Duncanville.

Southlake carol also moves families into their school district for key players, the coach drives a wrapped truck with the school logo on it, the stadium is nicer than most colleges. This is a high school football program to rival most .

I could say a lot of sparky comments about this team and school but the reality is they really are legit. Their coaches are what I wish I had when I played.

Southlake wins and wins and wins some more. Seen it my whole life, its dedication. They are part of a program where you are taught EVERYTHING ABOUT THE GAME, EXCEPT HOW TO QUIT, hence why their kids are all blocking past the whistle. They are working out while all the other kids and programs are on winter break, spring break, summer break, weight room and film on Saturday morning after Friday nights game, conditioning/isometric/plyometirics on Sundays. NO DAYS OFF. With all that said yeah no shit your going to be the winningist program in Texas highschool football state history.

It’s crazy that even in high school the separation between the top programs and the rest is gigantic. The NFL is the only level where they try and keep some level of balance.

So I’ll explain bc I live here in Texas and know everything about this school. So basically for Southlakes football teem there is no tryouts or anything like that the coaches go all around to schools in their district and they recruit them players. Then all the kids who don’t get picked for the teem either quit football or the get held back and do their eight grade year again to try and get recruited.

I played them when I was in high school and god damn, I thought we were a good team but we lost by 30. They do a great job of developing their underclassmen to be studs when it’s time to go varsity

Bro, this team won state in XC 2 years ago and our schools biggest rival in the sport. They also have the reigning individual state champion who won it as a SOPHMORE. My school's football team went to the state championship 2 years back and I'm sweating buckets to have to face this team at some point in the playoffs.

They are also known in the area for RECRUITING players by offering their parents jobs at the school, it's amazing how much they pay their janitorial staff

They need to come to Cali and play Mater Dei High School. The perennial #1 or 2 team in the nation. Most schools are undefeated until they play Mater Dei. This school will make those Dragons ordinary. Bring it on.

This school has been decent or championship caliber sinc the late 80's. Southlake is a rich town and they always have kids of former pro athlees on their roster. If you live in DFW or North Texas, you've know SLC has been great for most of the past 36 or so years.

Actually part of the feeder pattern for the eaton high-school in this clip! And during this, I was working down in the concession stands, always fun to help out with food and stuff. Generally was a fun game to watch. And I (believe) thats the northwest ISR stadium. Looks like it thanks to the massive “TV” as we all call it.

I'm not from Austin, I'm actually from a small town near seguin here in Texas, but my favorite big HS team that I've rooted for in Westlake in Austin, the have probably more nfl history the southlake as that where Drew Brees, Nick Foles, and Justin Tucker all went to HS
