Yh another thing is they literally have a better product you can use if you don't have sun light aka that thing they use to make flip books table light type thing
its a way of practicing things especially like anatomy and things like that. which can be fine as long as they're not claiming it as their own and / or hiding the fact that they're tracing /nm
@Neo.heartt spoken like a true beginner artist. It doesn't help to trace, because you don't really understand it, so you can only draw it in that one specific style from that one specific angle. You have to build the muscle memory on your own and understand how it works, (I made this mistake when I first started, I just copied youtube tutorials and traced) you're not gonna be doing well. Nobody can improve on the eyebrow if they don't know what the eyebrow is.
@@lisaglass2516well the main reason it works better is because when you put it on your phone it’s usually not stable enough to get perfect lines where as this can’t really move and the picture is also like 3x more clear using phones some pictures can’t really show as much detail as you would want them to but I simply wouldn’t buy this anyways
There’s an invention for this already and it works way better, it’s called a light box. Basically just a flat screen that just lights up, that way you put the sketch or photo under the paper and the image shines through. I used to use it to make an inked version of my sketches.
@@icemen5069 You're ment to do it with the lights off so the only light is from under the paper. Then there's no shadow over it. Remember to use paper clips or masking tape to secure the paper together and not have it move while tracing.
That's how you learn art. You try to copy something, you start to pick patterns, while tracing art, like what is done in this video, will not help you improve in any way. Good luck learning
@@Leoforgothowtomakeausername The one commenting. Tracing is bad if you don't credit the artist and steal the drawing. But if you're a beginner, it really helps you to understand why and where place the lines/colors/details. Obviously, you shouldn't trace every day of your artist life and should move on with other practicing techniques, but as I said, it helps beginners.
You don't need to spend anything if you're a beginner artists I'm advising you to just play with shapes basic shapes and let your creation do the work or take a water based paint and throw it on your paper and draw whatever comes into your mind it's better ☺
You have to look at it from the 3xact same angle the whole time or the position of the reflection will change as you draw, first is literally better in every way
@@Todeeee That would work, i was going to argue that elderly people probably aren’t tech savvy enough to do that, but elderly people dont use youtube shorts
Fun fact: Most artists have traced sometime in their life, it helps with muscle memory. :) you can use a combination of different methods to better your craft. Ask any artist, and there's a good chance they have traced when they first got started in drawing.
@@Gloomyraindropnope, as an “actual artist”, we always learned how to do observational drawing first. Tracing is only to learn technically details, like if you are imitating a specific art form or specific area. No one starts out by tracing. That’s the equivalent of using a motorcycle when you can even ride a bike yet.
I know a lot of people are shitting on the product but that shit is badass. Imagine trying to draw 30 pictures on a window, vs using one of those (like if you need to make a bunch of one design or if you need to make flyers or something). I think this is badass asf
@@Baseball_on_top-ro2jyyou could put guided access on it, it basically just freezes the screen but if you press the side botton on your phone 2 times it will take it out of guided access. Best life hack I ever used it works really well😊
@@Baseball_on_top-ro2jy Guided access + Remove Touch Now you just need to triple clic the side button and the image won’t move until you triple click again
Learn how to use references without tracing as soon as you can to really begin improving. Tracing is a crutch that while can teach, does hold back some.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 não tem nada dentro daí então você é chato 🪴🤣 p******eu quero Barbie hxhfhfhdnnfhhf dublado em português frevo emoji de pular na escola 🎒🏫
Beautiful, it is reminiscent of Vaneer’s techniques back when he invented his own method of doing this with a real person instead of a photo in the days of old
Not a lefty, but why wouldn't it be? You turn the thing around, then you take the phone off the thing and turn the phone around, it should be the same image, right?
Bro, as an artist myself. This is horrible for beginner artists! Their names are already "beginner artists", they're beginner that needs to learn to draw even if it ugly! How did you think I became an artist myself??? By practicing! If they use this, they'll never learn because when we draw we can learn from our previous art mistakes and this is just helping them by tracing!
"Tracing isnt an art" It can be a way of practise or it can be a way of learning how to do details. I always trace and it looks NOTHING like the original picture. But i just erase and then do it my way then add the details and shadowing and everything and it looks like REAL art. Some of us need a bit of support to get it going ❤
Would have been better advertising if you tried being more professional and used a pencil and went over it with thinner pen so it would look more successful
PLEASE start connecting with cake decorators, this is a fabulous way to help on cakes. If you can find a way to make a larger prototype with an ipad or something you could be in business
