Now that some Unova Legendary Pokémon got added to Scarlet and Violet, let's start looking at the best possible movesets that would be most optimal in 5-Star and 6-Star Raids.
We go over Tornadus, Thundurus, Landorus and Enamorus in this build video.

I love how they added these signature moves even though Thundurus and Tornadus already have better moves of the same type that also hit 100% in the rain lol

It's worth noting that all the signature moves have incredibly useful effects for raids and battles. So while they may do less damage their secondary effect makes them worthwhile.

I am gonna try out Thundurus to expand my electric type mons. I would really like to see the darkest day heroes builds, zacian and zamazenta.

Wait I love your thoughts about the signature moves and which move should get the accuracy boost in which weather, it would make so much sense. Also since Tornadus's move lowers the speed I'd argue that it should get the accuracy boost in snow rather than in rain. I'd like to see the Galar Legends next, I feel like Zamazenta gaining Body Press gives it a lot of potential, and Zacian is Zacian so I'm sure it can be a pretty good Raid Pokemon lol

My question is Defiant boots sp.atk? Why do u need ability that only raise physical attack, if ur pokemon only have sp.attack move? Did defiant boots sp.attack too?

So if you max your evasion and the cpu Hurricane's you, which supercedes? Or is it 1) hit or miss then hit or evade or 2) evasion modifies the hit %?

Evasion and accuracy doesn’t matter, hurricane in rain will never miss, it’s like smart strike

I love your videos real quick question, though on thundurus you used defiant which raises your attack, but isn’t he a special attacker?

Yeah, I cut out too much in the video so probably didn’t make full sense. So no current raid bosses really outspeed these two, so prankster isn’t helpful. I kept defiant to show you could go physical because these are mixed and have decent movepools, so you could build for that!! I also explained why prankster can “fail” because of teammates, which can make it very meh in group play.

Zacian can be the Doggo that's for dealing strong steel type damage. Sword dance and Behemoth Blade with Snarl and Sacred Sword or Play Rough for fairy type stab. Max attack and HP or Max Attack and Speed

I believe the answer is that you have to import one that is not from Go first. Steve made a short about that for the Hoenn legendaries if you want more info

Id love to see Zacian and Zamazenta next! I started building my Zamazenta with Reflect, Howl, Behemoth Bash and Helping Hand and it doesn't always feel that useful. I feel like sticking EVs into atk might have been a mistake!

You can buy their items at the market place. I expected the raids to go super high since the items seem important to me, but I think I may have overbid on my rusted shield

Why are you going for Defiant when you only use special attacks?

I explained why prankster doesn’t seem to always work in raids. The three of these can be great physical attackers and so defiant is better overall in most situations, I just said I’m leaning special. Both abilities are so situational, could you do prankster for maybe a faster rain dance, sure, but the point I tried to stress was you can build these a lot of different way.

Wait, Steve are you telling me Mew can be in this game? Hold the phone!!! As much as the Z twins would probably be “more useful” I no longer care about any of that and I’m going to put all of my votes on Mew ❤ I have two of these guys shiny in Go so they’re on my list to make! I might wait and see the Therian formes first since I only have one each … and I have about 30 of your builds already in my “to be made” queue. But if you do Mew, Mew cuts all lines It might take too long to do to be feasible, but something I’d find useful is individual pokemon short videos since I go back and rewatch the part about how to use the pokemon when it’s been a while, but it might be easier if you had a playlist of individual “how to use my X build”.
