YES! I, too love the L'Oreal Hyaluronic Tinted Serum but DETEST the dropper! It's such a gloopy mess! They seriously need to fix the packaging! I actually get a darker shade of it than I normally would get. Even though I'm adamant about wearing sunscreen, I am still darker in the Summer. Then when I go to wear the Tinted Serum in the Winter, I just mix it with a lighter foundation to have a lighter tone. Another thing I tried was mixed the darker Tinted Serum with some L'Oreal Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer Lotion in fair. It gives me the perfect shade/tone for Winter and makes my complexion very radiant/glowy without looking "sparky."
Milana, I bought the Patrick Ta crème foundation based on your recommendation and I absolutely LOVE it! I get oily throughout the day but I have seen it last on me for a full 12 hour day. I set with the powder and then use a hydrating mist immediately followed by Urban Decay All-nighter and it doesn't budge!
Happy New Year! Thank you for the review. What shades are you in Nars, Haus and Hourglass foundations mentioned? I have a very similar skin tone? I'm so happy that I found your channel.
Agreed, the L’Oréal serum has a matte finish. It works for her because she is oily. I use it all the time and I have to mix it with dewy finish foundations…
My daughter is a ginger with red complexion. Your best bet is color correcting. You don't want to have to apply a ton of foundation to cover redness. Elf makes an excellent Tone Correcting Primer. It's green. Any green primer is going to help you. (Green cancels out red.) There are other tone correcting primers but Elf is very inexpensive AND it's an excellent product. Why spend 2-10 times more for something that works just as well? Try the Elf Tone Correcting Primer (green.) Put on a very light layer and let it settle into your skin for about 5 minutes. Then put on your foundation. If you have a lot of redness, you may need a full on color corrector but I doubt it. Also, look for foundations that say they are CC creams. IT Cosmetics makes an excellent CC Cream foundation. Elf makes a very good doup of it at about 1/3 of the cost.
I'm 46 this year and thinking about trying my hand at makeup again. I am a natural red head with freckles, what I notice about a pic of me when my 24 year old was a baby girl in my arms, is that my makeup covers my freckles. I think it makes me look weird and like a doll so what could you suggest to fix that issue?
Hi Milana, Happy New Year to you all. Can we have some more clothing hauls, silly videos, baby videos, food testing videos this year please? I rely heavily on RU-vid for entertainment & would sincerely appreciate it. Thank you 🙏🏽
My skin is as dry as it could possibly be and the only thing I've found that works is physicians formula silk foundation elixir. I've tried so many others
You may be having a reaction to an ingredient in it. Some people have an allergic reaction to Arnica, which is in it. It's SUPPOSED to help with redness but can actually CAUSE redness for some people.
I thought it was just me. 🥴 It looks like it's patchy and/or hard to blend.. at least on Milana. I think the shade was okay but probably better suited for Summer on her. Foundations are such an individual thing. What may look amazing on you may look like 💩 on me and vice versa. Then you have your different skin types... Dry, oily, combo. Tones and undertones. Which finish you prefer. Sometimes I'm in a matte mood, sometimes I wanna glow! 😆 I unfortunately have a light olive undertone. Let me tell ya, it's a complete pain in the 🍑 finding a foundation to truly match! Most all brands have cool, warm and neutral undertone versions but not many have olive. Brands are getting better about it, though. Oddly enough, REVLON is really good about it! Someone told me over the Summer about Revlon's foundations being good for olive undertone. I about crapped my pants because I'd previously been searching for years for the prefect match for me. It's actually my holy grail now. I have their regular Colorstay foundation, which is a nice light-medium coverage. I also have their full coverage matte foundation. I usually do NOT like matte or full coverage bc it usually ages me too much. Revlon doesn't!!! You literally cannot feel it on your face. The only drawback is that Revlon filled Bankruptcy a while back. There's been no word of they're going to go under or what. Hopefully a larger company will buy them out. I've never been a big REVLON person until I found the foundation. I don't care what they do as long as they don't change the formula of either foundation! 🥴 I'm honestly tempted to go buy several bottles of it to stock up just in case! 🤣🤷♀️
