I love how you linked everything. Very informative and descriptive. You show you did your research and spent time to get to know these fragrances individually. Beautiful voice btw
Roberto cavalli Paradiso is amazing!!! Such a beautiful composition and lasts really well. I personally do get the tropical vacation vibes from it. It's so calming and happy for me to wear. I absolutely love jasmine based fragrances so no surprise it's one of my absolute favourites 😘❤️❤️❤️
Hey, good list indeed. Thanks for the shoutout, happy to see someone else's giving Joop! (and Mauboussin- 'been talking about Elixir (which, according to my research, seems to have been the inspiration for Lancome La Vie Est Belle) and Histoire d'Eau FOR YEARS) some love.
Hey Dana, thanks!!❤️ Oh cool, I had no idea it inspired La Vie est Belle. That's so funny, now that you mentioned it I can see the similarity on a paper strip, but on my skin they're so different and I absolutely prefer Mauboussin 😊👌
I was “Fragranticking” Franck Boclet for men and “Tobacco” looks & sounds awesome! And Mauboussin L’elixir Pour Elle sounds like my alley as well! Thanks for showing those! 🙏🏽✨👍🏽
I could not understand how her hair could be so dark yet she looks so pretty and feminine and now I see it is because her eyebrows are lighter ....she is so pretty
Thank you a lot for this sharing ! I can recommend this scents : "Héliotrope blanc" - LT Piver, "Parfum divin" - Caudalie, "Fleur d'oranger" and "Rêve indien" - Fragonard, and Rose oud" - Yves Rocher.
Hi, since my husband is coming to Toronto on a business trip I looked it up on The Bay website and I did find it there. The one I’m interested in is the Rose Couture. I asked him to go to the one in Eaton center and smell it for me. I’m in LA but I have cousins in Toronto so I have visited this mall. Let’s see what he says....
The Paradiso has some similarities with Jennifer Lopez's Deseo if you are familiar with it. I read a review that described it as an ultra-expensive laundry type of smell and now when I sniff it, I agree. But who wouldn't want to smell so luxurious when they're fresh and clean? lol If you ever find the Gemma di Paradiso version (which I have seen on occasion at Rexall and Shopper's for the 19.99 fumes) grab it! It is an amazing, long lasting, woody vanilla with jasmine and Amber. Love your selections here and the great prices. I will investigate these further!
I'm new to fragrances and I love your description of them. I bought the Banana Republic Peony and Peppercorn on your recommendation and it's really nice. You're doing a great job! Good luck from a Montrealer , and Happy New Year!
Joop! was all the rage back in the day. Really appreciate this list Yana. I love hearing about new stuff, regardless of price. But you know how it is... can't resist those affortables once in a while. If you ever get your hands on Private Club from Mauboussin, I'd love to get your take on it. Some affordable goodies I found last year - Red Amber by Pascal Morabito, Unexpected Fresh Spicy from Zara and Evoke Gold for Him by Ajmal.
I love that you’re trying these out bc some of these fragrances like the ones you’ve purchased at FragranceNet or FragranceBuy, I’ve seen but was hesitant to order bc I’m picky & you explain these really well. I’d definitely be more willing to buy. I’m so bad about sticking to the same fragrances. Like my Burberry London ( the only Burberry fragrance I enjoy ) , Gucci by Gucci, Kenneth Cole Reaction & Ralph Lauren Romance. I do like Pink Sugar as well for summer or Victoria Secrets Love Spell. I’d love to branch out.
Thank you! I don't put product in my hair, I'm just lucky to have healthy hair and the light I use for filming makes it look more shiny :) it's not actually that shiny!
Love trying new fragrances, is that ever end?! Don't think so 😂 my favourite hidden gem is La yuqawam Jasmine Wisp from Rasasi OMG smell like 1 million dollar scent.
I am so happy to find your channel..you are amazing and they way you describe the fragrances is just outstanding.. I love fragrances they lift my mood and spirits.. and people like you makes it do easy to select and understand the fragrances.. lots of love from india... stay amazing..
Did not start watching and getting excited, there's going to be some gems I am sure! Happy New Year! Edit: only heard of Cavalli but never gave it a try, and Joop, like you said, from Dana. All the best!
I own raghba, it is very similar like 24 gold by scent story which is for some reason hard to find and both are long lasting sweet fragrances. I also own Joop homme is very sweet and very long lasting but never smelled joop femme
Love those bottles, some interesting blends. Nice to see D’Orsay mentioned, they don’t get enough love. Used to have Le Dandy which a delicious boozy whiskey blend. Enjoy the vid gorgeous. ❤️❤️😘
I recommend swiss arabians 21 edp sample kit they are all great fragrances. And the kit is 20 dollars and your getting around 70ml of juice with all juoce combined.
You have such a unique and amazing way of explaining a fragrance 🤗 I can almost smell them 💜 My main issue is that very very few fragrances last on my skin. I have tried it all. Can you please elaborate if any of this fragrances LAST ON YOUR SKIN please 🙏! That would in the top of my list when choosing a perfume. I am interested in ordering: - JOHN GALLIANO Parlez Moi D' Amour Gold -SOLO Soprani -GOLD by Tous Thank you 🙏 !
Hi there 👋 I was wondering if you haven’t tried Velvet Amber Oud by Rihanah you give it a shot and do a review on it! It’s pretty cheap $33 USD and it can be found on fragrancex. The bottle looks enticing and it’s a 4.2 oz bottle lol so it’s pretty big.
Hi. Thanks for the recommendations. Being a perfume enthusiast (putting it mildly) and owning so many, one of my issues has been locating fragrances that to me are different from other scents that I've smelled, as well as something that moves me. I have purchased upon your recommendation (and a few other YTubers recommendations): the John Galliano Gold Edition, Soprani - Smile, Mauboussin E'lixr Pour Elle, Raghba, Joop - Femme. As I just received them, I have not worn them yet. From just a spray, so far the Galliano is standing out, but again I have not worn it. Raghba, is sweet and warm, but almost too soft for me. I thought it would stand out a bit more. I admit I do prefer bolder fragrances for the most part. Think: Youth Dew by Estee Lauder. Smile smells a lot like two other fragrances I have: one from Old Navy called, Sea Salt & Fig, as well as being very similar to Simply Sexy Love from Lovers Lane. That's the problem, I run into so many fragrances that smell alike. I really think that with the more modern fragrances it's harder to get a scent that is distinct. It could be that they just copy each other too much or don't try as hard to give us something really unique. The older ones seemed to have been willing to take chances and stand out from the crowd. The Mauboussin is nice but very soft, sweet indistinct so far. Finally, Joop has its own thing going on. I'm not sure about it yet but it does seem to have it's own personality and it isn't imo, shy at all. LOL. I do intend to give each of these a try actually wearing for a day to see if anything changes. Tous - Gold is recommended by you and another YTuber channel so I will be trying it, also. I love how you guys influence each other. Lol. As you can probably tell, I have a serious love affair going with fragrances. I have come close but could never stick with one as a signature scent. So, I have some older all-time favorites that smell distinct and have their own personalities (at least imo) and I would like to mention one of them which you may already know. Mitsouko by Guerlain. This fragrance to me is warm, spicy, oriental, mysterious, exotic, sensual, distinct. Now, it may have been trifled with a bit but it still smells the same for the most part, maybe a little weaker. Please let me know if you've tried it and what you think of it and if you haven't then I do recommend it. Thanks, again.
Thanks for the detailed feedback! Always interesting to hear what others notice in a scent based on each individual's fragrance journey 😊 Definitely they all do need a few wearings to really make up your mind about each one. Since I filmed this video my opinions on each have shifted a bit. I actually enjoy Joop a lot more now, and have fallen out of love with John Galliano gold edition since I over sprayed it a couple times (oopsies!) I have smelled mitsouku in the past but haven't worn it on the skin. I appreciate the fragrance as a guerlain classic but I'd have to give it a try on my skin to really figure out if it would work for me. Thanks for the recommendation! ❤️ 😊
@@TheScented Sure. Yes, do try it and possibly add it to your reviews re: more classic scents if you do like it. Btw, I also recommend Lheure Bleue also by Guerlain but it may not be for everyone. One more is Narcisse Noir by Caron. These two favorites also don't smell like anything else that I'm aware of. Everyone knows or hears about the newer perfumes so I like suggesting some classics. Ok. So, that's interesting what happened over time with the Joop and Galliano. That's why I was careful to mention that I hadn't worn them because that may certainly change things for me, as well. Thanks for responding. 🙂
I just ordered mine and I’m like anxious for it to get here. I love Oud for greatness and Oud bouquet. Wasn’t a fan of MFK ouds...they weren’t powdery or sweet enough for me. Hopefully Raghba is as syrupy as people have been describing.
Bvlgari Omnia Crystalline, Naomi Campbell At Night, Christina Augilera EDP. Moschino Cheap and Chic, Moschino Fresh, Moschino I Love Love, Puma Animagical, Versace Bright Crystall, Versace Dylan Blue. These are my favourite. Try them and I think you won't be sorry.
Queen B I love the Moschino ones you mentioned and have them. They may work better for you but I have to respray constantly. I spray my clothing but the smell leaves that quickly as well. I’m going to check out the others you mentioned. Thanks for posting😊
@@kasiagirl4708 I don't know where you bought them. I bought mine in Europe, the Moschino ones, and I am happy. The fragrance lasts up to 10 days on my jacket. On my body it lasts for about a day. I heard from my friends that not every fragrance shop has the same quality of perfume. It depends where it was manufactured. I am sorry you are not happy with yours, because I'm really happy with mine. Try to buy them at another (different) perfume shop.
Thank you. These are my favourite. I also liked Lancome- Idole, but only after half of an hour that I had it on. In the begining it was too strong for me.
Queen B I’m so jealous that yours last so long! I will give another shop a try to see if their is a difference. I’m still trying to find a quality Casual and Design by Paul Sebastian. Elizabeth Arden bought them out from what I’ve been able to find out. I ran out of mine and have 4 bottles of each that smell great but barely lasts for 15 minutes! I bought them from different places. Thank you for your reply
Weird. In usa we grew up seeing joop in stores like Walgreens and Walmart. Sorta like you see white shoulders and tabu. It's not unknown here...or maybe it is and I'm just a weirdo who noticed it all the time lol 😆
Can you make a video on Armaf fragrances? I'm especially interested in Club de Nuit and Club de Nuit intense for women. I'm on the fence about purchasing those fragrances and I wanted to know your opinion!
Thank you! Well, tbh I knew half of the brands 😊, however I am sorry that the rest are not avalable here in Bulgaria. Franck Boclet has been on my radar for some time now and I want try out "Cocaine", as I've heard great things about it. Mauboussin, hm I think I might find here at local discounter and will let you know my thoughts on it. !Joop have some really nice frags, have you tried "Le Bain"? Spread the fragrance love! ❤️🇧🇬🌹
Do u know that when the Manboussin arrives at my local stores, it costs ~ 110$! How could i try it then? >”< :( Anyway, love your video and your concept. Btw, have u tried any Lalique, Aber&Fitch, Etat Libre D’orange? My bday is coming soon, i just want smth unique for collection... Thank u 👍🏻👍🏻
This is the first time I watch your video. Could you please make a video about your hair routine ☺️ I’m following now a natural hair care. I stopped dying my hair and using henna and trying to get it healthier as much as I can and trying to learn if there are any hair routines that might help. I noticed your hair before anything in the video 🤩 it will be so helpful if you share it with us 🤗I enjoyed your video too
Thank you so much! I will definitely do a video some time in the future - I've gotten a few requests for it. For styling I just use the round Revlon brush :), But I'll eventually go over everything in a video ❤️😊
I've just started collecting fragrances but I already believe that cheap scents are not worth buying. One probably is going to end up not using them if they have a decent collection. I've tried a few cheap fragrances (including celebrity, Zara, BR), and ended up tossing them all.
Thank you for this video. It hit the spot. Please check out Belayered. I'd love to hear your take on them. I invested soo much money with them it's crazy I could be a reviewer. I'm in Bklyn NY and I love scents almost as much as chocolate
Happy New Year! This is great. Please continue to present fragrances that may be overshadowed by the scent of the moment. Have you tested the Paradiso flanker, Paradiso Gemma?
For someone new to fragrance collection Mauboussin Elixir Pour Elle might smell like a good fragrance but for someone with a larger collection this smells pretty generic with no character (not even close to niche quality). I purchased the perfume due to reviews on youtube and had to give it away, was a major disappointment. Just my opinion.
😂 80's.... Back in the 80's people were wearing Charlie. Joop femme was quite expensive back then. Up towards £100.00 for 100mls. I've been wearing Joop femme for 20 odd years. Hard to get genuine bottles now. Too many copies.
Hi Yana, I sent in a huge fragrance net order today! Lancome Tresor La Nuit , Parfums De Marly Delina, Al Haramain L'Aventure (Aventus Femme Clone), Armaf Club De Nuit Intense, Francis Kurkdjian Petit Matin .... please let me know if you have any of them... Fragrance net doesn't have the notes to the perfumes they carry, so I had to look them up, but I'd love your input.... thanks!
Hi Maria, that's going to be such a treat!! I love MFK Petit Matin, it's a beautiful musky citrus. I have a sample of it that I got from the MFK website. Armaf CDNI I haven't tried yet, but I heard it is similar to Tom Ford Noir de Noir so expect it to be quite strong. Delina is likeable and girly with a bit of tartness from the rhubarb and lychee - i think it's better than Delina exclusif. La nuit tresor is quite sweet, but also nice! I don't know anything about L'Aventure unfortunately. I always check fragrantica for notes and reviews when i blind-buy. :) enjoy your new perfumes!! :)
What do you think about Thierry Wasser? He uses high percentage of pure material, he was a chemist before, but for some of his parfums must be trained to “let them flow”🥰
👋 hi you should try Paris corner killer oud it’s a great clone of amouage interlude man only for 30 dollars give it a try it’s an awesome fragrance you can also try mid night oud from lattafa perfumes it’s also a interlude man clone raghba is from the same house thankyou
