They have a straight stout bill and the plumage is white with darker markings (Compare: gannet) 4 - a female breast I think the translator was wanting to use definition #2.

I'm just commenting while watching so here's another comment dssjfsj i'm just glad to be born here after hearing how high school is in Korea wtf sfjsfjsfsjdhjf I had classes from 8:30 or 9:30 am till 13:30 / 16:30 and sometimes 17:30. I just loved my schedule so much. Our brain needs to rest, its important for mental health, i cant imagine myself being sane studying that many hours everyday. But if its changing for the better i'm also glad! Now i'm in college and i have classes from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm 3 days + 1 day from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. Its so nice, i have time to study and relax.

the "American style" caption, I think, was directed to Dino and not to Vernon, because Dino appeared to not be offended by the informal way Vernon talked to him. So yeah, I think it was to signify Dino's openness than Vernon mistakenly using the informal term ps. Though, I would be icked too if it was to show that Vernon is being like that because he is partly American

와 옛날에 학교 진짜 빡셌네요..ㄷㄷ 요즘엔 그래도 옛날에 비해 그런게 느슨해진 것 같아요.. 야자도 선택이거나 없고 등하교 시간도 그렇게 이르거나 늦지 않고.. 물론 전 스카이같이 높은 학교를 준비한게 아니였어서 더 그랬겠지만 고등학교 생활이 힘들진 않았는데 엄청 힘드셨겠어요,,ㅠ

소머즈는 1970년대에 나온 The Bionic Woman 시리즈의 여주인공으로 한국에는 여주인공의 성인 "소머즈"로 방송되었어요. 여주인공이 사고를 당해 한쪽 귀와 한쪽 팔, 두 다리가 인공으로 만들어져서 뛰어난 청력과 신체능력을 갖게 되고 악당들과 싸우는 내용인데 잘 듣는 사람에게 소머즈인가봐 이런 식으로 말하게 되었죠.^^ 재밌는건 승관이도 그 시리즈를 보진 못했을 세대에요. 1980년대에 한국에서 방영되었거든요.

In Portugal we say "1, 2, 3 macaquinho chinês" which means "1, 2, 3 chinese monkey" or "chinese little monkey" ( "macaquinho" in portuguese is a diminutive of the word "macaco" that means "monkey" in english, its just a cuter (?) way to say it i think. I dont know the origin of this phrase but i just hope its not something offensive :/// My theory is that its "chinese little monkey" because "chinese" in portuguese is "chinês" and that word rhymes with the word "três" which means "three" (3). So i think is just like this to rhyme (?) but idk for sure.

Interesting! I don’t know the connotation in Portuguese so I can’t make that judgement call but in English “monkey” is often used as a racist term, for someone who is not white. I’ve most commonly seen it used against Black people but also against Japanese people as well during WW2. So even if in Portuguese it doesn’t have racist origins, I’d say be careful if you ever use it around English speakers 🥲
