Man I felt that when he said food network used to be good. Growing up I would go to sleep to good eats every night. The old food network was fire. Also those Comedy Central adds at 2 am. Hot fire.

Straight up, Good Eats followed by Unwrapped with Mark Summers (sp?). I have a young son and he is currently obsessed with Good Eats and calls it mama’s show. When my mom and I were posted overseas my dad would tape it for me and bring a stack of dvds

What a great episode. Lee-anne joining when they were reminising was the cherry on top. it turned the convo from 3 dudes talking about the past times to a legit 3d Environment in my head, with a story. obviously Tom is god teir as a guest, but roy is so genuine and authentic and blessed and clearly a hard worker. loved this one. Wish i could go eat at the resturant

Just need to say, I far prefer this format of Bert and Tom just being their sweet selves to each other rather than playing up the being mean to each other for comedy sake. For me the most entertaining part of any of Bert's stufd is just him vibing with his friends. And we get a bonus LeeAnne to boot, even better!

This was a joy to watch. It really was. Just old friends reminiscing. Can't help but think, "What a dream to all have a crazy glow-up and think back on the 'simple' times." They were meant to be friends and it's beautiful to see that they're going to be friends for life.

As a chef, I felt Bert’s comments about feeding his kids and friends as a dream. But my son is gtube fed. Happiest kid in the world, but my selfish ass , it breaks my heart that I can’t feed him amazing foods and have those experiences. We can only cook so much together. It breaks my heart when he can smell the food cooking, is able to say “yum!”, but he’s not able to eat it. Sorry for the rant, GREAT EPISODE!❤❤❤❤

Saaaaaaaaaaame…. Dads cook supper on a different level and its what I live for. Every night I make supper and we use the smoker, black stone, charcoal grill, cook stove top, and its all about doing cool new stuff to keep them interested and hungry.

Nah the other format is better. It’s funny watching him torture his guest by making semi uncooked meals, while he scratches his hairy stomach and digs down his crack.
