Follow me as I spend a few hours exploring the best front country camping views you will find in Jasper National Park at the Honeymoon Lake Campground. This gorgeous lake is located perfectly in between the town of Jasper, AB and the Columbia Icefields. It's also located very close to the Sunwapta Falls area of the park.
The campground usually open in the middle of May until the middle of September.
All sites available on a First Come, First Served basis.
All 34 sites cannot be reserved ahead of time.
All sites ares unserviced with fire pit.
Campsite #24 is designated for bike camping only. This is a shared site for unsupported bike touring and can accommodate 6 tents.
Best suited for tents as well as motorhomes and trailers under 27 feet.

oh god wow this is a really good video Eric!! excellent quality beautiful cinematography excellent editing , your on screen presenter voice and on screen presence is top notch all the extra effects, but not overwhelming effects . very very impressed sir ! 😊

Thanks bud! I guess you get better at it when you’re creating videos everyday for 3.5 years! 😂 it’s also fairly easy to make the mountains look nice.

Stayed here in a one man tent 30 years ago. Told a bear had been around the night before….not much sleep and kept the fire burning all night 🤪

@@michaelfewkes5271 for the most part bears don’t want anything to do with you. keep your food outside your tent! Were the views of the lake as nice back then?

@@EricTremblayAdventures The views were stunning as they look now. Arrived with friends who were sleeping in their van and me with my little tent. I remember walking to that lake view point to find a couple of guys chatting. One stood in the water fishing. Still remember the conversation they were having like it was yesterday. “Not too many people here” ….nope, a lot took off first thing, we had a BEAR around last night….look, had a dump right there!” People screaming an shouting, BEAR bouncing on the back of a camper. Brushed passed our tent an girl friend went lock herself in the car. Soon as the BEAR moved away we got to the phone and called the rangers…they arrived about midnight with a BEAR cage! They searched for 2-3 hours but never found him” …..and there began my sleepless night 🤣🤣🤣
