Everyone give John a big thumbs up for this awesome video. I love your excitement. I've been growing ginger for a few years and added turmeric last year and it did great. If you need ginger and turmeric you better order it quick because the last time John recommended some, they sold out immediately! Thanks again John.,

Our strawberry tree in Orlando has been fruiting non stop for at least 2 months. It's in the ground probably 10 feet tall. Tastes like natural caramel. Update as of December this strawberry tree has easily been fruiting non stop for 6 months it is literally the best tree ever for Orlando. The gift that does not stop giving. And its plentiful

I highly recommend the mulberry, especially the ever bearing varieties! I planted 3 years ago on the space coast...berries all year round, I’m making wine with them.....7lbs on the 3rd year,,, and I’m on year 4 spring as of now, it is loaded! Put them in the freezer they make great wine 🍷 The tiny bugs are the biggest problem, fully submerge the mulberries for 30 min in water and drain.... or go berry picking daily.... This winter I had great luck with papaya seeds from the grocery store...super easy and grows super fast! Never throw away your kitchen trash, organic materials. Even meat IF you “bury it Deep” so animals don’t get to it and won’t smell!

Great video John. I met Luc at the last USF plant sale and he certainly had a wealth of information. I purchased a strawberry tree because I had never seen such huge fruit before, picked up some of his organic fertilizer also. Great to see the tour of his place, I'll have to head up there and check it out. I don't have a big yard but grown most of all the plants you highlighted in this video. Also...just planted my tree collard.

What do you think about cold weather Hardy figs pomegranates and blue berries? I need to build my green house so I can grow my healthy food year around. Because the tomatoes peppers and green's taste terrible because they come from the store and have no flavor. Walnuts are pretty good and I can make over 30 quarts of grape juice. But so much of my food goes to wast. Oh and my kale does great in 35 40° weather there fine with a little snow it makes them sweeter I just need to remember to protect them better. I think I need over 100 jars so a lot of my tomatoes cucumbers to be made into pickles. Hey Jon what do you think about a steamer juicer?

Sorry for righting so much but how bad can cold weather plant shock be should I only bring them in once a year for a few months or is it OK to bring them outside a few warm day's like 40 to 55° because up here it can be 55 in the morning snow in the afternoon then not get back over 20 for a few day's. The ones I have now are young easy to transport. Just a few different hardy figs 2 hardy pomegranates and what do you think about growing nuts in my climate in northern Utah do you think I could grow a few Pecan tree's I know that cherry trees are fine up here same with peach apple's. One of my neighbors just let's there mulberry tree's food just go the the bird's. I've got the pots and soil. I should be able to ask them for a few shoots were is the best to cut in that situation like a 2 or 3 branches or a few smaller branches closer to the base of the tree?
