Thank you for consistently putting out such great content. I have been following your channel for quite a while and have been inspired to create my own content and garden with a personal twist. Keep up the great work
@@elderyehudahwatchmanoftheg8425 we appreciate you saying that. We constantly look around for inspiration in different farming/growing techniques to add to our homestead for the future.
My Kadota is 3 years old and is well cared for…it produces a large breba and main crop but neither are edible. I’m hoping it’s just due to its young age…I’ll give it another year…before it’s beheaded.
You are really a wealth of information Elder. I went out and got horticultural oil, but I can’t get the one you recommended here in Canada. So I’m hoping it works as well. Shalom
Good evening Elder. Great video and information. Any suggestions for dealing with birds? They eat my figs just when they are almost ripe. I will definitely use your method to notch my fig trees. Thanks
Shalom Elder. I noticed on one of my fig trees where I accidentally "injured" it, soon after it started new branching and leaves starting from the same area. I was curious about this. You explained it here, thank you. I will try the notching method you shared. Before I do, wondering if you know would this negatively impact fruit ripening of existing figs?
