All good suggestions for utilizing some vertical space! I’ve grown akebia here but I didn’t enjoy the fruit enough for the amount of space the two plants I needed too up.

@@wildsproutfarmandnursery8617 Ah forgot Black Pepper Piper, Tasmanian Pepper, Jasmine, Hops, Ivy for Soap. Curbits including the nuts of Telfairia, Hodgsonia, Fevillea, curbits like cranberry gourd and other strange ones, Caigua,, Chayote. Legumes.

⁠what zone are you in? I’m in zone 7b. Have some Szechuan peppers but they haven’t flowered yet. I feel like you’re zone 8 or above?

Most plants will need some sort of pruning at some point. No way around that. Raspberry and currants usually just need removal of dead or diseased wood. The mulberry will require more knowledgeable pruning but are way easier than pomes or stone fruits.
