I’m really loving the 12mm F2 Samyang for real estate (but I’m not doing this as a pro) - sticking it at F8 or F11 does the job to get everything in focus. The F2 in some situations also comes very much in handy! - looks great in vlogs
Just picked up the 10-24 non-WR for about $550 on ebay. Definitely the most affordable way to go wide for interior shots. And the f/4 doesn't bother me because my XT-4 handles higher ISO so well.
You are correct! Congrats too btw. The native Fuji stuff is built so we'll it definitely worth checking out eBay! Thanks for watching and I appreciate you.
Hi there, if you have to choose 1, either 8-16 and 10-24mm which one would you choose ? Im still deciding which lens for real estate. Thank you i love your videos
Hi Jared! Can you imagine a sports photographer (using Fuji) where rarely goes below 1\500 (except panning) and all of a sudden is on a course of architectural interiors..? Well here I am! Great info and subscribed to the channel. I will look, however just to be certain. If I may ask: Have you a video on your work flow? Most concern abou the editing of RAW files to LR. Be on the sports and photo journalism the JPGs are outstanding and off they go almost sooc after every race! Very informative and absolutely share the "get down to business" and excusing the "YT studio set"!!! Cheers Carlos
Do you not recommend using a flash? I have an xt3 not great low light camera i was thinking of buying a Godox TT685F II 2.4GHz TTL Flash would that work with bracket exposure shooting? also i use 9mm Loawa lens is that ok thank you
Yeah, typical RU-vidr problem. Editing on a laptop and only looking at the peak meters. They don’t realize that the sound coming out of a MacBook speakers is compressed and Highly tuned for reproducing voice and doesn’t have the low ends to reproduce the bass so they turn the music up really loud and think they’ve got a good sounding mix. when you listen to it on something like my home theater system every time the music kicks and it shakes the walls and I have to jump on top of my remote to turn the volume down by half. This is why it’s important to mi x audio with recording monitors.
definitely a zoom lens comes handy compared to a prime… I know a guy who does tons of pictures for interior magazines and the only gear he uses is the a7iii and the 24-70 🤷🏼♂️… I opted to start with XS-10 (cuse I love fuji) and laowa 9mm zeroD, viltrox 23 and 56… i’m not doing professionally, the hard thing for me I don’t have time enough to shoot, It has to be fast… (I work for a company who does custom homes and remodeling and I shoot for them for fun just for social media)… most of times I don’t use tripod, no bracket, etc… most the photos I use will be sooc… but, it is what it is, until I have more dedicated time for it… great video, thanks for sharing your experience with Fuji.
Good recommendation. I’m aware of that lens but never purchased cuz 12mm isn’t wide enough for me. Still though. Maybe I’ll check it out one of these days! Thanks for watching and commenting !
I love my Fuji camera however I can tell you from experience just pick up a Nikon Sony or Canon for professional work. It’s pathetic but I got much more word of mouth referrals that I did when I switched to Fuji. The reason? They’re so compact and tiny people don’t take you serious because you don’t have big chunky ugly heavy professional gear. As soon as I pull that Fuji out I’ve had people question that’s your camera? Or frown or just immediately poo poo on you. Even with the big huge chunky lands and tripod.
Hi I have an xt3 and a samyang 12mm and im shooting in bracket exposure 3 shots, 2 stops over and under. I was wondering what settings are best for taking the shot? Should I am for zero stop exposure?
