Razer Cobra (formerly Viper Mini) is still the best shape I've tried. Is there anything similar where you don't have to sell a kidney to get? I've tried the OP1 8k and didn't like the hump placement on that shape.

Love the Zowie U2, but I've had problems with the mice pointer settings in device manager. Exhausted all suggestions from BenQ support. Eventually i tried preventing updates from happening to my hardware in device manager. For what ever reason that stopped my issue of the mice constantly connect/disconnecting.

What does competitive mode/performance mode do on mice?? If I have max 1k polling rate and no 4k dongle

i need help deciding which mouse to use, i need a good lightweight mouse for fortnite that has good sidebuttons, good control, and overall feels comfortable to use. i use a relaxed claw grip, the first mouse is a G-Wolves Hait HT-M Ace Wired Stardust Blue mouse, the second mouse is a, G-Wolves Hati HT-S Ace Wired Cosmic Blue mouse, the htm is about 2x bigger in length and weighs 53 while the hts weighs 45. hts has detachable micro usb tho. i just dont know which mouse is better for fortnite, i use sidebuttons for my builds

Funny, I like the clicks on my Sora V2 better than any other mouse I've ever tried, by far. They're quiet/deep sounding, feel great, are spammable, and have very little side to side movement. For reference I have used the Lamzu Thorn, Lamzu Atlantis, Delux M900 Pro, Deathadder V2 Pro, Deathadder V3 Pro, Viper V3 Pro, Endgame Gear OP1 8k, Pwnage Stormbreaker, Attack Shark R3, Pulsefire Haste, Glorious Model O, and Logitech Superlight, and I keep going back to the Sora.

I was getting weird skips or stutters when I would bare down on the Viper V3 pro with my Saturn Pro mouse pad. I took a hunch and switched back to my qck heavy and the frequency of these instances became almost non existent. I'm not sure it is the softness or materials of the pads or LOD but whatever is going on with the qck it is happening less. TLDR: If you are getting random stutters with the new Viper Pro I would recommend trying different surfaces or possibly LOD's. Outside of that the mouse has been near perfect!

I have an OG Sora and it's probably my favorite fingertip mouse. The narrow width you don't like is what makes these types of mice easier to fingertip IMO. But, to see the new one has those issues is surprising... especially since the old one is so solid. Hopefully it was a bad unit.

I love the R1 Pro, it's one of the best budget mice I've tried. I dropped it twice around 3 feet above the ground, and it still works fine. The battery is quite okay, it could last a week on 1k without performance mode at 12 hours of usage daily.

Boardzy I would love to know your stance on using 4k & 8k sensors being declared a straight up downgrade because it's being found that the step up in responsiveness is so astronomically low as compared to 1k or 2k. And to add to that 4k and 8k requires a lot of CPU power causing pretty bad frame drops for low and mid send pcs. Thoughts?

honestly I adore the beast x mini shape and I have around 18x9cm hands with a claw grip. It just works for me.

So ive been on the hunt for my perfect mouse for about 3 and half years. Trying all different brands too narrow down what I liked/disliked. Viper Mini, Puslefire haste, Burst pro, Hati s, Viper V2, Starlight 12, MZ1, Superlight, X2, X2H, Atlantis Mini, etc.. Only now after trying the Zowie U2 have I found my perfect mouse. Yes it limited to 1k hertz, but idk I've tried plenty of 4k mice on a 240hz monitor, and just never really cared for the difference outside of killing the battery. Outside of that, its my perfect mouse. ( but yea getting Corepads, or some new skates did make it feel better )

Yo Boardzy my man I have a [Shocking] suggestion. For us neurodivergent pepegas who have super low sensitivity and need to lift our mice a lot, it would be really cool to have mouse reviewer include an assessment of "mouse liftability" in their review. For example, the original gpro wireless was extremely unliftable because it had almost no side curve where it mattered, and to add chainsaws to the wound, not particularly grippy texture to make up for that. I got the Beast X Max with Omron Opticals, and it has been fantastic so far. I really don't get how people think the holes are an issue, aside from cleaning difficulty, the holes are not sharp like a cheese grater or anything and they add grip for me, I don't need any rubber grips on it. Also the magnesium just feels cold and fantastic to the touch. The buttons are crispy, it has been solid so far. I got pretty big hands so the larger size is preferable. If the op8k comes out in a wider format I might try that too but as it is now, I am going to just main the Beast X Max til it breaks. If anyone with a beast x max has an issue with no registered movement from time to time, all I had to do is switch to 2mm lift off distance and it seems to have fixed that for me. My liftoff is based on my movement so I do wish the software allowed incremental choices instead of just a choice between 1 and 2 mm.

I recently picked up a Viper and dude I absolutely love this thing! It's by far the best I've ever used, and I'm coming from a DAv3 which I dearly loved. The sensor, the switches, the shape, the weight and of course, the coating. This is the best feeling mouse I've ever touched. If it broke right now, I'd go out and drop another $150 on one in a second.

I was considering for a second to try op1 but according to eloshapes It's similar in size to viper mini which is a bummer for me because I had viper mini in hand and I hated it. I literally couldn't used claw grip which is my main grip because it was to small. Maybe I have too long fingers or something idk

I agree with the Viper. I bought so many trash mice and had problems on every single one. Went from a GPX2 with broken scroll wheel (2 different units) to a ULX Lion with naaasty click wobble side to side (2 different units too) to a Beast X Medium with ridiculously bad battery life that lasted me 4 hours on any polling rate higher than 1k to a OP1 8k which was honestly an amazing mouse but way too thin for my hands and now I'm on the Viper V3 Pro and it just is perfect. There is not a single complain even after months of using it now. No QC issues, extremely great coating, performance is Top 3 in all metrics, shape is amazing. It's just the product to choose if you can somewhat afford the price. It's so extremely reliable and for me that's the biggest factor now after having so many faulty products. If it works it works, I don't see any reason swapping away from this for years from now.

A very close clone to the Razer Viper V3 pro. You are a big fan of VXE's R1 pro (Seal of Approval), so you might really love this ATK/VXE X1 Pro mouse too. It looks like a real winner, maybe even seal of approval caliber. Actually, I really want to get this mouse - but want a good review of it before I buy. lmao
