Nice! Remember to use WAAAAY less than you think you need. It will be neater, dry quicker, and make your bottle last even longer, and because it's so tacky it will hold strongly. Do contact us (through our website) if you have ANY questions or if you need any advice, and watch as many of our videos as you can so you can get the MOST out of this versatile glue.

Wow, this glue is unreal. I love it. You are right, you only need the tiniest bit as it spreads out. This is the only glue I use now. thank you for creating it for all us crafters.

I am SO happy you like it!! Try to watch a bunch of other vids so you can really see how versatile it it (make your own glue dots, re-sticky an electronic die cut mat, use it for embellishments from glitter & foil to metal charms & plastic buttons, ribbon etc! Use it for paper from mulberry, newspaper, cardstock and chipboard, to vellum, acetate, pearly papers and wood veneer... Did you get a no-clog cap as well? It really is a great little add-on for making teeny dots, and delicate applications, PLUS it really saves your glue preventing you from over-applying. Please spread the word, and consider leaving a review on our facebook page and website:) And if ever you have questions, "Contact US' on the website.

Elisabeth, while it is not available in the big box stores, if you like to shop local and there exists a local craft, rubber stamp or scrapbook store near you, that would be the first place to call. If they don’t carry it, most are all too happy to order it for you. Otherwise, it is readily available online wherever you currently shop as well as at www.ScraPerfect..com. Not to sound like a salesperson, but before you order, do check out the No-clog writing cap (size large) as it has a stainless steel tip which restricts the flow giving you even more control to apply itsybitsy dots and lines of glue. (The glue is so tacky that a tiny bit is all you need and using more is messy, dries slower, and wastes the glue.) And to complete the trio, the Best Leaner Ever is ScraPerfect’s people-safe, Earth-friendly solvent which will keep the cap and tip clean as well as your scissors, hands, stamps, brushes, and more from the craft room to the garage! Watch the videos to learn more and see if they’ll meet your needs.

if you use this for my nails (gems, foil...) how do i remove it? ive heard its good but is it easy to get off??
@scraperfect
@scraperfect 8 лет назад
The Best Glue Ever is removed with a solvent. Nail polish remover is a solvent, so when you remove your polish or top coat, it would come off, too. (This was developed as a craft glue and I don't even polish my nails but it's likely that if you make a mistake before applying a top coat, you may be able to rub the glue/foil off. ) When papercrafting, we recommend ScraPerfect's Best Cleaner Ever which is people- safe and earth-friendly. While it effectively dissolves paint, adhesive, sharpie marker, and other challenging "stuff", it will not dissolve nail polish. Hope this helps! Perhaps the nail artists out there (who love love love our glue) can add to this comment.) Have Fun!!

Can this glue be used for purposes other than craft, like joining any broken vase of clay
@scraperfect
@scraperfect 6 лет назад
This is a REALLY excellent question!! The Best Glue Ever which dries fast, strong, is incredibly tacky, and remains flexible, can definitely be used for a TON of non-craft purposes; however, the repair situation must match the characteristics of the dried glue. It does beautifully, for example, adhering a car mirror that has fallen off the housing because it is super strong, waterproof and weather proof--and the flat mirror adheres to the flat plastic and there is no possibility of flexing post-adhesion. Similarly, a small round towing mirror was re-adhered to the sideview mirror after the original double stick tape failed. This mirror repair has lasted over 7 years being continuously subjected to summer desert heat, frigid mountain snow, and year round Pacific NW rainy winters! In fact, for any product which comes with two-sided foam tape, I now absolutely use the Best Glue Ever on the foam tape because the foam tape is not reliable over time. (How? I apply the glue to the tape and give it a little time to dry to clear and tacky before pressing into place. From experience, this little step assures a VERY strong, long-lasting bond!!!) Even though certainly not intended for this purpose, one customer permanently re-adhered a bathroom wall tile that kept falling off with the tile repair adhesive she used. It was fantastic when repairing a vinyl flap on a car seat that became unstitched because it needed a strong bond on a flexible fabric and sewing it was not possible. This glue was used to repair an antique display cabinet when the thin wooden inside trim holding the long lane of glass had detached and there was concern that nails would damage the cabinet door. After the wood trim was glued into place, clamped and allowed to dry for a few minutes, the window is now securely in place. When the rubber trim on the side of a sneaker started to pull away from th inseam, the Best Glue Ever repaired it until the shoe finally wore out:) HOWEVER, since this glue dries fast, strong, tacky, and remains flexible, I would not use it on something like a teapot handle which requires the adhesive to dry as rigid as the china handle itself. For most any repairs which may be subject to flex but the bond must stay rigid like a handle of a mug or a plastic toy part subject to movement, I would generally use a two part epoxy which is strong and dries fast and rigid even though it is somewhat expensive and more of a hassle to mix because in my experience, when the Best glue Ever is not the suitable adhesive, the two-part exposed is the most effective. BUT for so many other repairs around the house, car, and workshop, camping, beauty and crafts, we find the Best Glue Ever to be incredibly adaptable, strong, secure and easy to use. It has no fumes and a little goes a very long way. Hope this helps! If not, please don't hesitate to contact us by phone or email through our website.

That's a great question , Kris! It would be one to ask the stores you wish to order from as they can choose who they purchase from and which lines they carry. I expect you'd need to contact the corporate offices as they do the ordering for the stores.

Hi there well in 2019 I purchased this glue and guess what it is clogged and I cannot I repeat I cannot get it to unclogged😥 Any suggestions???
@scraperfect
@scraperfect 3 года назад
YES! Try to pull out the goober that is probably clogging it. Just like you can make your own DIY "glue dots", they can form on the tip of the spout, but usually that little "glue dot" is easy to simply pull out with your fingernail. If not, take off the cap and push a toothpick from the inside out. I don't think it's best to push the clog in like with a pin or an awl since the goober could work it's way back into the spout to clog it again.) If necessary, wash the cap; the glue iis permanent when dry but is water soluble when wet. If the glue has dries, you might want to dissolve it with the Best Cleaner Ever™, our people-safe, Earth-Friendly solvent for removing adhesive residue from scissors and tools, cleaning ink from stamps, removing paint, cleaning hands, cleaning gum from carpet, etc. scraperfect.com/product/best-cleaner-ever. If you don't want to or can't clean the cap, contact us on the website for a new cap. The glue is known not to dry up, so while we won't guarantee it won't ever, we've never heard of one dry up before being used to the last drop. I would also suggest reading some of the FAQs, so you can get the MOST out of your glue! One of the FAQs, for example, says that if the glue seems too thick, you can add a little water to thin it down- just add it a few drops at a time as you don't want it watery! You might also like to try a No-Clog Writing Cap, which not only stops clogs, but also restricts the flow so you use less and your bottle last even longer. scraperfect.com/product/no-clog-writing-caps/ Hope this helps!!!

@noelwong8223 5 лет назад
@@AmyCRoszak Thanks Amy for your quick reply. I'm rather frustrated now because had already tried out different fabric textures on different shoes and so far, not able to NOT slide off from the shoe right away. I'm using Mod Podge Satin. Fabric in mind is thicker but not stretchy, but also tried thinner and softer fabric and didn't work. Had tried the fabric with shoes that is leather, vvinyl, canvas and flip flops, none of them work. So I can only blame myself for getting the wrong Mod Podge. Really seek professional advice.
@scraperfect
@scraperfect 5 лет назад
@@noelwong8223 I don't see getting to to stick to leather or canvas as they are porous. For vinyl, there is another step to try if it didn't stick permanently, but it might not be necessary. That would be to apply glue to both sides and when it dries to clear and tacky, you then press them together. I don't think it would stick week to flip flops without doing that as well, or else "wrapping" the rubber so that it's fabric stuck to fabric. I was able to stick two marshmallows together with glue on both marshmallows, letting dry and then adhering and I couldn't get Elmers' mod page, regular fabric glue or even hot glue to work. (It was for an ornament, not to eat). Point is, good chance it would work but can't guarantee. HEY! Why don't you ask this on our facebook page or blog (both accessed from the website: www.ScraPerfect.com. Perhaps (I bet) one of the design team members would try it out and show you results...!

It also doesn’t dry tacky which limits it’s applications- no glue dots, no foiling, can’t re-sticky die cutting mats, no self stick envelopes, etc.) But if it works for your purposes, then that is the best glue for you.
@timhofstetter5654
@timhofstetter5654 Год назад
@@scraperfect You really think it irritates "nose, throat, skin, brain cells, etc"? Do you understand that it's exactly the same stuff as your dental crowns are held in with, the same stuff as your surgeon will use in place of catgut stitches, almost exactly identical to any of your modern dental fillings? Sure. It smells a little ragged. Not "violet" like all those obscene "fragrances" that manufacturers add to everything these days. It isn't actually an irritant to anything but an irritable mind, though... and it's just as biodegradeable as any other piece of acrylic, which accounts for all those transparent canisters you have in your kitchen and the windowpane you have in your storm door and the vast majority of the dashboard in your car, et cetera. Acrylic is all around us... and it DOES degrade in time. Much faster than the bottle does, in fact. It takes generally about ten years. But what the heck. The more you learn, the more you know. Right?
@scraperfect

@@timhofstetter5654 sure. And like I said before, if it works for you and you enjoy using this kind of adhesive then it’s the best for you. I don’t. Any water-based glue will wrinkle up the substrate paper. ANY.
@scraperfect
@scraperfect Год назад
Because this is sooo tacky, not just thick but TACKY, you need apply on the slightest bit to attain a firm bond. Therefore, because you are only applying a teeny bit, the water content on the paper is soooo low, and it’s the water which causes wrinkles. Very little water=very little (or no) wrinkles. Even works on paper napkins:) It also doesn’t bleed through fabric; simply apply to the fabric (or paper side) and let it start to dry. It becomes very tacky- tackier as it dries! Then press and it will bond without the liquid soaking through the fabric:)

@scraperfect
@scraperfect 4 года назад
Sorry you thought it was a waste of time! Lots of people are obsessed with paper glue because lots of people do paper crafts. BUT the Best Glue Ever is so much more than a paper glue. Since I don't know your actual need or craft, I can't say for sure if it would be helpful to you and we never want to over-promise as there's nothing worse than being disappointed by a product or misled by a sales push. The Best Glue Ever does adhere photos to metal as well as wood, plastic, leather, glass and paper, of course. It adheres embellishments of all kinds to all kinds of materials. It's not even just for embellishing --I've adhered car mirrors that have lasted years! It might adhere cabochons depending upon whether is has a flat back, what is is embellishing and how the final product is being used.

Rosina, (WHAT DO YOU KNOW? Amazon sells our glue!) But probably the only products made in the US that have a "base set up" internationally would be large companies and those that widely advertise, and this definitely is not necessarily related to how good a product is! Yes, the international shipping is expensive and I hate that we have to charge so much to cover it, although we do ship internationally quite often. If you shop at a local craft store or from an online reseller which wants to carry it, let them know we do sell internationally. This STILL doesn't mean our glue meets your needs, but I was curious if it were available in the UK and the first place I googled had it. www.amazon.co.uk/Scraperfect-Best-Glue-Ever-2-oz/dp/B003VWFKU4/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=best+glue+ever&qid=1573629527&sr=8-1

Almost gave it away and tried zap glue! It bonded in minutes! Now that is what i call brilliant!! lol. I dont want to buy umpteen loads of glue, i want a couple that do what i want and expect the best, but sadly i am not going to try this glue. Good if you do paperwork, art etc, but not for me. Perfect! It's why I said it might not work for your particular crafting need and the LAST thing I want is for someone to purchase our products and be unhappy. I do hope your takeaway though is that we care and do not "waste people's time". What you see in the videos are real. They are not doctored or made to sell product. So many nail art people LOVE this glue but of course nothing is going to be preferred by everyone AND there is always the chance for "user error" which then can be blamed on the product. (The most common mistake is applying too much glue. This glue is so tacky when it dries that the barest minimum is needed. Too much glue makes it messier, takes longer to dry, and wastes the bottle. For nails and with foil, it is absolutely essential to apply the thinnest layer possible. And I hear from people ALL THE TIME how much they love our products- from crafters as well as non-crafters, and they very much appreciate the time I take to help them solve problems whether with our products or not. Good luck.
