I have to say this guy is very instructional and to the point, and does it in direct way and in such a short video, I always find something new in his videos
So I followed your great instructions on the sumo deadlift and wow! I felt them in my glutes more than other times I've done them. I quit trying to keep my back straight up and down and bent forward like you said. That made all the difference. Thank you!
I train with a big, muscular guy. This video is great for guys as they don't want to be doing the IG girls booty workouts. Much love and respect for covering this. Sharing now!
Very good! I am 65 and have never really focused on my glutes. I did squats, dead lifts, leg curls, extensions and leg presses which helped my glutes but I never really isolated the muscle. In my 40’s I lifted heavy every other week and super settled the same way. It was a killer workout and I did injure myself a couple of times but not severe. I don’t do heavy any more cause I can’t and it wouldn’t be wise at my age but I do what I can. These exercises look doable for me. I hope so and really want to see if they can help me improve my rear end. I might be 65 but I still want to look good for my wife and myself. No ego trip but just want to be the best I can at all ages until I go to be with the Lord. This was a great video and you explained every move to get the most from the movement.👍🏻
Dude has made a massive difference In my workouts. Ryan has gotten so much better at his presentation. I’m guessing he watches this video now and cringes a bit...right? Keep ‘em coming, man. Please.
The suggestions (toes out, length opening, and band use) in order to isolate the glutes during the hip thrusts were amazing! The hamstrings that were limiting my performance in this exercise were not an obstacle any more! I managed to do many more reps and felt my glutes burning so much and like that (sideways) for the first time! Thank you so much!
Great videos, short enough, straight to the point, no small talks and very well explained and presented! Well done! Great channel! From now on officially my favorite!
That tip you gave about pointing your toes outwards, you don't know how valuable that info is. No one has ever mentioned that to me before, and no matter where I went or looked no one could help cos the exercises just would get to the glutes, and I can feel it on the glutes instead of the other leg muscles. Thank you soooo much.
Love not having to sit through a ton of explanation before seeing the work. I came here from Athleanx, which I love, but sometimes find a bit exhausting with all of the explanations (which I totally expect from a physical therapist like Jeff, not knocking him. It's very informative) . You give me the most important bits very quickly and after finding the lower chest video help me significantly I was sold.
We used such variations in preseason workout with basketball team, combined with knee joint exercises. Have had a great rise of effectiveness in strength indicators!! Thanks for great video ! must done exercises !!
Love the content of your videos.....obsessed with all the little technique I have learned.....after years of 30 years of lifting the tiniest thing makes a world.of difference....thank you!
The thing i love abt rayn channel is he tells spesificly how to target working muscles which other leading fitness channels fail to do. An evry little fix he says it works. Like the hip thrust fix which helps take the hamstring out of the equation just wht i been looking for thank man.
I think YOU're the only person on YT doing this whole set of exercises for butt strengthening ♂️ It was all very clear and well explained, except for the junk part I still can't figure, well I'm still learning English in informal ways to get to socialize with them men. Jokes aside I think your channel is extremely good and you are full of talent and being handsome makes It a lot better to get to see in full view. Thanks Ryan.
Great video! Especially the “correct sumo” because I workout in my garage with just a single cable pull cage. But I get it done with creative variations. Thanks for all your help. I dropped 40 pounds in 5 months and I’m 5’9 206 @ 14 % and dropping fat every day with your workout plan . Absolutely the best $ 20 a man can spend! Oh and I’m 59 years old. Thanks again Ryan
#1 thing I like about your channel: you don't let your ego get in the way of comfort or practicality. Many dudes would just deal with that bar digging into their hip to try & prove a point. Same with using straps on the deadlift video.
Great video! Glutes are way too overlooked for guys, also thanks for not only saying the exercise but actually showing the correct form in order to do it
Pls do more video about glutes workout..its very informative and just by looking at your workout i can see progress right away.😅 you're the new glute guy for me now.😅
Great instruction video for the hip thrust and good suggestions. I could never figure how to get into position to do these without help. Although you don't show how to actually roll it up. I would add that in. Thanks
Thank you man. I'm a thinner guy now, used to be pretty fat like 250 lbs in middle school. Butt needs work and I will try these excerices in hopes my nalgas will one day be as strong as yours! Thanks again! 💪👍
Ryan thanks for all you do and for just being you! Keep it real! Start linking products like these pads, especially if you can get some kick backs for us buying!
Just when I thought I knew every tweak & trick in the book ....you come along!!! The super padded hyper-extension apparatus that I used to just walk past ... finally has a new found purpose & appeal. Thanks for the great advice on training techniques. 🏋️
Cable rope pull throughs are great for glutes too. Set the rope pull at lowest, straddle it, grab it with both hands, extend out far enough to lean forward, and squat allowing the rope to pull back some, then stand. It really works well after a set of squats.
Very informative. Ecspecially when you talked of foot placement when doing hip thrusts and back extensions. I also like you showed how hinging at the hips entirely when doing sumo deadlifts to put entire emphasis on gkutes and none on quads when doing the exercise will increase glute activation. Thanks
Good info to n the sumo deadlift! I always struggle with that exercise. Also, no such thing as too much blue, it’s awesome. Two, bring back the sweet dog 🐶
YO Ryan! love the vids, no mucking about. Question. Do all of these need to be done? Not saying because I don't want to, they seem to be repeating the same muscle. Or is it a case of making sure they get totally blasted? God knows I need a good ass blast.......wait that didn't come out right....
That's great ! do you have any alternative with dumbbell at home ? I can already tweak some of them but, If you have any other idea for the "at home work" series.
A totally different Ryan than the one today in 2021... Most interesting He was more like a teacher back here... Now he's like a smart ass... That knows it. But much love brother! I wonder if he can become two people? 😂
Thank you for the great content. Something fresh and innovative💪🏾. What kind of bench were you using for the hip thrusts? Our business could use that. Thank you!
