Absolutely love Zelos. I just picked up the Mako GMT MOP version to go along with the other 12 Zelos watch's I own. You can never go wrong with a Zelos!!!!
To think that any Zelos is better than a Tudor is ridiculous, but Zelos is definitely a great brand, and you ALWAYS get a lot of watch for the price. It's amazing the watch you get for under 700.
@calebtate6723 lots. Future serviceability. Quality of finishing. Machining tolerances and consistency. I have a Zelos Mako Diver and it's a fantastic watch but it does not compare to Tudor or Omega. Bezel and crown are gritty, clasp has some sharp edges on the side against the skin. Top microbrand, easily, as good or better than Seikos costing 1k to 1.5k usd, but not at the level of Tudor.
Man… I have been wanting a Tudor as a milestone thing or whatever but I’m torn. There’s too many cool watches and it’s just hard for me to justify such expensive timepieces
Brother just wanted to ask if it is better than captain Willard series of seiko --these zelos models just wanted your help as i am planning to buy zelos vis a vis seiko willard series.. thanks in advance
I'm surprised it's your first Zelos! They are an amazing brand! Lume is always awesome. I used to have the Horizons 43mm Carbon Forged and I loved it. I really need to get one of their newer ones in soon. Great video as always man! Cheers!
I have always liked Zelos. I bought one of their older models. But their design language is getting more over the top for me. Build quality is great but I can't get on board with some of their colors and dials lately...personal thing I guess.
A very cool Dive watch for the price is a Heimdallr Monster with the sharkey blue deep sea dial its such a good value for such a cool design not an omage copy is unique and Aragon is making some incredible watches for a reasonable price and the Aragon Virtuoso Ti 9015 50MM or 42 mm with MOP dial and bezel saphire crystal Ti 9015 high beat movement is very nice
I missed out on the one I really wanted... Managed to get a bumblebee style I liked later on that I was in line for the second it released. It arrived, looks amazing and just feels too big for me. Its only 42mm and yet looks huge to me. I do wear a 50mm Garmin and 49mm Breitling at times and yet this one looks off on the wrist due to the layout. It sits, never sized, never worn. I think of flipping it on ebay. I will break even at worse. Then I think how beautiful it is in general and maybe one day I will get use to it... Big fan of the brand. Hate how hard it is to land one. Love that you can move it if needed and still recoup investment.
These have been on my radar for a while now. Thank you for your time and great review of this model. Much appreciated. Many thanks, and stay well, Sir.
These are all 5 still available! I can't believe it. Did my normal be there on time thing to get mine, but here it is far from the launch and they are still available.
Another well-reasoned, informational response. If you disagree fine, but if you only respond with emojis or slang, you show you have no argument. Whatever.
@@umiami91 clearly you don't know Zelos as a brand. All the watches they make use materials that are premium to the price they charge . Let alone their dials which no one in this price range can match. Not all the colorways are appealing, like the one in the video. You can't ask for more features on a sub $600 watch.
Just noticed something that I find to be particularly egregious about the dial design: - GMT hand (orange) corresponds to the outer bezel (black) - minute hand (black) corresponds to the chapter ring (orange) - second hand (black) again corresponds to the chapter ring (orange) On a first glance, because the orange pops so much, I instantly thought that the GMT hand was pointing to the markings on the chapter ring, which its clearly not! I wish they didn't color the chapter ring as orange, because now I cant unsee this weird dichotomy.
