I think golfers today are more wound up, in my time I watched players like Nicklaus, Watson, Kite, Norman, Crenshaw, Ballesteros, Floyd, Calvin Peete, Nick Faldo, Price, Trevino and they got angry but I do not recall them tossing clubs in the drink, not saying they didn't just I never seen them while watching them play
1.5 million views, that's some great numbers right there. One day who knows one of mine might get somewhere near 🤣🤣 we'll played mate, might be time for no 2 in this series 😉
Damn there was another well known tour pro posting a screenshot from the top of his backswing of that throw. He added a line and talked about the plane. Rory than did the same with one of the other guy's throws... I just can't remember who he was.
Just like hitting the ball with a slow tempo ,I find my clubs travel farther with a more deliberate slower tempo. In fact just yesterday my 4 iron actually went 20 yards farther than the ball did because I didn't rush my back swing.
Funnily enough, if I'm frustrated enough I will just flip the club in whatever direction the cart or ball is, and i never thought about it lol but that is smart
You can hit 40 bad shots and be ready to drench your entire bag, then you hit that one pin chip or easy layup on a par 3 and it resets your rage meter for another day lol.
You left out Ken Green at The International after triple bogeying the par 3 15th. He walked to the soft area between the green and the 16th tee and imbedded his putter in the ground up to the grip, then expected his caddy to retrieve it. The caddy didn't even try to get the club out of the ground. Green was livid and ended up finishing the round putting with some other club. Nobody was following him, anyway. Never saw him again.
Here’s a story for everyone, one time I was on the 18 of a small town golf outing with a grand-prize of 1000 split between 4 people. It was all gentlemen scoring and there was 2 groups neck and neck the entire day. About 75 of us all went down to watch them put on the final hole and show some sportsmanship.. this ignorant POS who was like a +17handicap thought he was Tiger… missed 3 short puts back to back to back.. took his putter and started stabbing and smashing the 18th green… he literally destroyed and everyone just stood and watch in complete disbelief. He even destroyed the hole itself. I’ve seen people throw their clubs and stab the sand or rough.. but never a green before. This man is banned at 10 of the most popular golf courses in the area and nobody has seen him since the event.
I've wanted to do that just playing around with my friends. Things just weren't going my way and I wanted to dig a hole with my putter on one of the greens. I didn't do it but I totally understand the feeling. Golf is therapy and hell all at once.
Wow, I don’t feel so bad, after seeing this!!! 🤣 I did the same thing this past Sunday. Broke my driver, and 7 iron, and threw the WHOLE bag of clubs, and went to the 18th hole, and watched the end of the nascar race!!!
Golf can make you excited and happy one moment, and the next a raging bull, but that's why it is so addictive. Where's the clip where the golfer tosses his entire bag of clubs in the drink, now that's some serious golf rage. 😂😂
I use to golf with a guy, once I threw my cub straight down to the ground .He got into my face and said I never want to see you throw a club again. Then he told me a story about when he was playing with high school friends.A guy thew a club so hard it flew to the next tee and hit and killed a woman. I have never thrown a club again. A bad shot is a bad shot.
4:07: Judging by that guy's shirt, I figured he whacked himself in the head with the club BEFORE his round. What else would entice someone to consciously don that outfit?
I taught golf for 17 years (Play Golf and Tennis), and have seen my share of funny, but could not put it out there. Thanks for this reminder of (some of) the things that I have seen at the range and on the course doing playing lessons. Nonetheless, Golf, Fishing and Family are ALWAYS fun! Peace, love and more...The one thing that annoyed me was I got a call from a parent that wanted private lessons for a 5-7 year old! I would refer them to Hook a Kid on Golf, or The First Tee Program - so their kid can develop social skills!!!
Sorta... if the calculator is wrong, that would be inconceivable because of the impossibility. The chances of a human making a mistake is much greater. Unless you're speaking of the data input opposed to the functionality of the calculator itself. If that's the case, then you would be saying that the chances of a bad shot is similar to the chances of data input error on a calculator.
Great moments in golf LOL Reminds me of my son (age 10) beating on his SKATES when he failed to make a turn . . like it's the SKATES fault . . Very cute when you're 10 . . Not so when you're 20 or 30 or . . . . So Glad my Dad taught me Golf . . even when he lost his temper he didn't LOSE IT !
My brother in law has just started playing golf after retirement. He has had a load of lessons and I asked him how it was going. ""I am really enjoying it" he said, "Then you are not doing it right" I said😉
Ha ha ha ha!!!! I just started golfing last year at the tender age of 49 and I can relate to your comment! * Golfing partner *"Yeah, just have fun! You enjoying yourself?" * Me throwing my club into the bush after missing my 5th putt on a par 3 hole *
I run a nice men's league and make sure to play with every new member on their first week. Throw a club like these guys and you won't be around for week 2.
@@tylerh1648 Actually, the guys love the league. We don't play for money, there are no temper tantrums, club throwing, and that sort of thing and we all have a great time and lots of laughs on the course. Then it's off to the 19th hole where the fun continues. This year, out of 46 members, only one is dropping out and it's only because he has a serious health issue. I have a waiting list to get in and again this year it looks like there will be no new memners. No room. Sorry.
My brother once hit a 4-iron tee shot across a pond on a par three. The steel shaft snapped about four inches from the clubhead, and the clubhead flew off into the pond and sank. My brother was immediately pissed! The ball, however, flew perfectly and stopped one foot from the hole, for a sure birdie!
Whenever that happens to me (though, with the exception of the guy putting at 2:22, my "misses" are much worse), I usually just take a ball out of my pocket and chuck it into the water. It's a lot cheaper than my club. 😂
@@garymorris1856 Bryson did it unintentionally and he got to replace it, I’m not sure about intentionally but by the looks of it since si woo kim putted with his wood, I would say no
All professional golfers are primadonnas at 1 time or another. It's not the club's fault that you didn't swing well or can't read a putt. They'd be better off throwing themselves into the water.
I broke my driver once hitting a tee marker after a wide right. I was tremendously embarrassed and apologized profusely to my group. It’s a soul wrenching, frustrating game but I’ve never done it again.
