As far as rasterization 7900XTX beats 4080 super. It’s when you throw is RT and DLSS when the 4080 super is the better buy. I’ve been very pleased with my 7800X3D/7900XTX combo.
I am currently building a PC with a 1000$ budget. Most of the parts I will get brand new, but when it comes to GPU, I decided to get a "renewed" RX 6700 XT with 12 gigs for around 350$ (it is 1350 PLN). I will build this computer somewhere in august, so if I remember to update this comment, I will inform you guys how this graphics card is doing despite being used. UPDATE: Ended up buying RTX 3070 8GB. Tested it already and it reaches 75 ℃ max in Furmark. Will see how long it lasts but for now it works and perform perfectly.
For a 1000 bucks a Rx 6700xt is criminal. Just get the Rx 7700xt an try to get a cheaper case or use the stock cooler for the CPU. It's just 50 bucks more
@@dusenkarotte007 I finally ended up going with RTX 3070 for the same price as I said in my comment. My priority was AM5 chipset and since Poland is not the cheapest country in terms of PC parts, my full build was 4400 PLN which is around 1100$. Traded some of my budget for a white build and ended up satisfied!
One thing to keep in mind, AMD is the champion for battle royal and FPS games. Outside of those games, Nvidia obviously wins across the board. As a competitive player on games like Apex Legends, PUBG, CSGO, Fortnite... AMD is 100% the choice. Significantly less input lag, stuttering etc. I will state, AMD is really not the best for visuals outside of multiplayer online games. Not by too much, but enough to notice, so keep that in mind. Nvidia clearly wins in all RGP games, but if you would like to get into battle royal or FPS like COD, across the board AMD wins. Also, small perk, AMD is cheaper, but... Nvidia wins across the board elsewhere.
Watching this on my phone just completed my new 4080 super build and had 2 power surges in a row. Wish me luck this sucks. We never have them and boom happens! Legit while I'm watching this video on my phone! Btw 4090s are not 2k dollars haven't been in a month. All around 1700 to 1750 unless you get a strix or something. Also 4060 owners can use frame generation on 1440p I found mamy games worked great on it. So let's not only consider raster when devs are leaning heavily on upscaling techniques now and nvidias proprietary hardware.
I’d love to buy a gpu but I’ll stick with my 4090 I still have my Aorus Radeon RX 6800xt that was my first GPU and will always have a soft spot for that little machine. Maybe in 20 years when I can afford the next upgrade 😀 anyways great video
I was thinking a 4060 because of the budget. But I’m not sure if it would fit in my pc. I’m also unsure how to remove and replace gpu. My budget is around 300 Aud (200 or so American dollars)
I have a ryzen 7 5800x3d and I'm very confused on what gpu I should pair with it I don't care about 1440p at all and I just want to run games like warzone, fortnite, valorant, minecraft, ect at a smooth 240fps and recommendations?
@@xmeqtv probably high end 1440p/low end 4k cards tbh. Most of these tech channels consider high frame rate to be 144 so if you want to go above that you need a fair bit more power
@@LazyGibbon thanks for the advice I think ive settled with a rx 7800xt or a 6800xt if I can find a good price or im just gonna wait till the new 5000 series of rtx cards come out and see if the prices drop on the 4000 series enough for it to be worth the ray tracing and stuff
I’m honestly in the same boat I want to get the 5800x3d I’m thinking going 4080 super and never touch my pc again 😂 Ik it pricey but it a beast and show definitely last all of am5 life cycle and from what I saw it’ll pair nice with a 2k high refresh rate gaming with some 4k if I wanted. I like the future proof idea upgrade my setup after 5 years and plan on repeating!
Arc A750 is better than 6600 for less money. Nearly equal performance to 3060 and 7600. Note: There might be some titles not optimized for the arc gpus. Check out the Hardware unboxed review of arc gpu of 250 games in that 5 games were crashed and some were not good experience but most of them worked fine. Check that video and if they are deal breaker then go with 6600 or a750 is better deal with less money. Maybe in future drivers those games might as well work.
real qestion whats a solid gpu for 1440p that can posibly run 1440p max settings and still get over 175herz on any game i just want my games to look good and run smooth thats why i have taken a liking to nvidia but most people say AMD is better so i dont know.
Above 175FPS at max settings in ANY game at 1440p???? maybe a 5090Ti if that will ever be a thing. For now, you are fresh out of luck. That GPU do not exixt.
If you play games like Apex Legends or Fortnite or CS2 a 4070ti/-super would run it, but for Hogwarts or else games you need at least a 4080 or their AMD counterparts
@@1Phantomais Hogwarts 1440p Ultra on 4070Ti/7900XT gives you around 135 FPS average. A 4080 might do 160 FPS in that game. And hogwarts is "easy" to run this days.
@Audiosan79 well just to run smooth because I play on a laptop and always freezing so as long as I can play max settings and still be able to pay smoothly and see everything then ye
I wana build kinda an 1500 bucks pc and idk if this combo is god I made it how ever possible to made an build with 7900gre ore 4070 with an r 5 7600 wich is best combo?
Gre with an 7800X3D, if you buy not too expensive other parts it is possible. 100C for the PSU, 550C for the GRE, 350C for the X3D, 60C for the NVME, 100C for the Case, 40-60C for the Air/Liquid Cooler(Artic has some fantasic options), 115C for your RAM, 150C for the Mainboard (=1475C)
anyone who recommends an RX6600 over the cheaper a580 which offers the same if not better performance or the much much faster a750 that costs the same as the AMD GPU, then that person is not to be trusted
@@shasha023 bc ive heard the ryzen 7 7800x3d is likethe best value and performance outperforming "better cpus" But thats what ive heard All tech people glazing it So it must be hella good
And not the ti super bc the ti makes it very expensive idk where you saw the prices but it brings the price to like almost 1000 bucks or 1000 bucks ngl And i want like good value and performance but with nvidia software and creator tools
